I really loved staying here for my vacation! The hostel is really close to the beach, the staff is really helpful and available. They are full of activity for the guests to do! I attended the yoga class with Maria on the beach, and it was wonderful, at the end of the class we decided to jump in the ocean together and we made more friends! Thank you guys! You made my SOLO trip an experience that I will remember for my entire life! I will come back for sure!! ❤️

The bed was so comfortable even with jet lag I slept really well. I was expecting it to be loud and didn't find it loud at all slept fine. Lockers are well set up. There's a lift (elevator) so fine for luggage. Location is insanely good. Few minutes walk to the beach, loads of food and drink options close by. Staff really helpful. Cheap drinks in bar. Free coffee during the day and water all day and night. Towels provided for no money as long as you return them.

Only negative was that there was one bathroom to share within a ten bunk room. I think the property would benefit from just an option of some communal (corridor) use bathrooms/toilets at least. So that it you need the toilet you're not desperately queuing!

Price + location + at least some privacy thanks to the bed curtains. Those are the biggest strengths of this place. Staff is also pretty nice and cool, wifi was stable.

I would personally prefer communal bathrooms, completely separated from the rooms. Also a LOT of parties downstairs:) Fortunately not loud past midnight.

I had a fantastic time here, staying in an 8-bed mixed dorm. I was actually able to sleep and it was not too loud at night. The hostel is very charming, the rooms and bathroom are clean and get cleaned every day. You can get towels for bath and beach every day. Every bed has an usb plug. The staff was always helpful and nice. It is a great place if you want to meet people, either on one of the bars or during one of the daily activities, like beach volleyball, dancing, painting or partying. Totally recommendable for solo travelers but they also have private rooms. It is super close to the beach, bars, restaurants etc. Again, I had a great time and it was absolutely worth the money. I also enjoyed the pool bar which is cheaper for hostel guests.

Only one shower for 8 people sometimes leads to waiting times. The lockers are a bit unfortunately positioned, right under the beds. Would be nice if there were some open shelves for low value stuff, so you don't have to crawl to your locker every morning and evening. Bring a lock with you!

The perfect place to stay in South Beach! Beautiful decor, very clean, comfortable, very good located and the staff from the cleaning to the reception they are all very competent. Sheila thanks! Juan and Ben too. I totally recommend Viajero Miami.

The facilities are good and they try to create an atmosphere for solo travelers with some activities going on. The location is great for the beach area, and they have all day free water and coffee.

Only a fridge with no kitchen to cook in. They are not aware of mixing extremely different ages and genders within the hostel room. I booked a 6 mix as I usually do in viajero, and when I asked to change to a female only (due to only old man in my room) they were not attentive at all to the situation and wanted to charge me for a hotel price (300$ for 2 nights) even though the original price was similar to the 6 bed dorms. No exceptions or will to help. I did manage to ask them for a different 6 mix bed. Still an odd atmosphere in the room but better. Some of the other staff were very nice, but did not know much about the area and what to do. A lot of families, old man, and not a viajero hostel vibe like in south america.

Seriously, the staff here is a perfect 10/10! The staff made my stay special! Rodrigo, Tommy, Paolla, and Stephany were incredibly kind and helpful, always with a smile. Big thanks to you all!!! The room offered a comfortable bed and a useful privacy curtain. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of both the rooms and the bathrooms.

Just a couple of small suggestions for improvement: It would be awesome to have the kitchen separate from the library area. Also, it'd be super convenient if Booking.com allowed for cash payments at check-in.

I was traveling alone for work and the people I met, staff and travelers alike were amazing! The hostel provides daily activities to do a a group to encourage mingling and it made my trip! My bunk was comfortable and private and there was very little waiting times for the rooms bathrooms as most people weren’t in the dorm room at the same time. Also the location cannot be beat! In the heart of south beach it is a walk across the street to south beach beach, and all of the hot spots on the south beach strip. What a great time, I highly recommend it and will be back!

Tho the staff was incredible wait times at the front desk could be quicker but this was a very minor inconvenience in comparison to how great the trip was.

What can I say? It's one block away from the middle of Ocean Drive, and everything you may need is at walking distance. The staff is really nice and proactive. Juan is a fun and cool guy, and so is Sheila. They're very invested in keeping the hostel fun and chill, with weekly activities and help all-around. Also, shout out for the cleaning staff, they're all great and hard workers. Bare in mind that, especially in hostels, most of the cleanness depends on (you and) your roommates. As for services, they give you a towel, soap, shampoo, and everything. The bathroom mat can get wet soon, maybe they should give a couple. The beds have a little tent, USB chargers and lights. The lockers are big (bring your own lock). They have a library/room with 2 refrigeretors and a microwave. The fridges were barely sufficient for all the people, I would add another one or put bigger ones. But ultimately you can make it work. There is also a terrace, a restaurant, an inside bar, a speakeasy for late night, an outside area with two small pools and another super cool bar outside (shout out for Nate here). This hostel is the most expensive in South Beach, but it's defenitely the best in the area, don't even consider the other ones that pop up. You may look into Generator/ Freehand. They're good, but they are in Mid Beach. South Beach is the best. There's nothing in Mid Beach. And I'm not even a "party guy". Recommended.
