The deposit was not mentioned when I booked it online

It's just a good standard hotel to stay in for a couple of nights. Good facilities and the restaurant/bar. Easy parking. Close to the Downtown, Brickell, and the airport. The staff was always friendly and they helped us on different occasions.

I suppose my concern was the efficiency of the cleaning. They primarily cleaned the rooms early in the morning while we were inside, which meant we went three or four days in a row without our room being cleaned because they simply didn't come back in the evening. The pool wasn't heated, so it was too cold to swim in. No heated jacuzzi as well.

Breakfast was delicious! The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Their work ethic is commendable. I must say that the entire staff exceeded my expectations when it came to hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and approachability by the staff members. In particular, Anthony stood out as a star among stars. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Anthony's attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly shone through. He consistently checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was comfortable throughout my stay. The level of service provided by Anthony and the rest of the DoubleTree staff truly made my experience memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming and accommodating stay. Thank you to Anthony and the entire team at DoubleTree for their exceptional service.

I liked the bedding and sheets. Seems very comfortable, new and clean. Personnel were very nice and polite. Gloria was exceptional. Overall feeling was surprisingly good, the people made the difference, even the receptionist at the night time checkin was great.

I didn’t like the limited options for breakfast, but thankfully the staff accommodated our requests and gave us more options. Nevertheless the portions were small. Noise in the rooms was quite something- super loud. Also there is a general feeling of worn/torn despite investing in the facilities. Inadequacies of the facilities were adjusted by the great staff.

I loved the proximity of everything. 12 minutes from the airport. 10 min from the cruise port. The lobby was really nice, the room was nice, staff were friendly. Def would stay here again. I love that no carpet is on the floor. I prefer wood floors when I travel, so that was a plus

My daughters didn’t care for the breakfast. The hallway had a milk smell to it, but still wasn’t unbearable. I’ve smelled worst, I would say maybe just get a fragrant scent for the hall. Our door didn’t lock, u had to Slam like 5x, we called front desk, and someone came up right away. Overall I wikis still stay again, bcuz the good about the place outweighed the lil small stuff

The breakfast was good, they were out of alot of foods I wanted.

The food was expensive and not enough for the price. The wait was to long need at least two cooks. The bathroom sink was leaking in room 302, and the water pressure was terrible. I did learn that other customers was complaining too and they will not be returning. The price for a night is extremely high and I ended up staying a second night and NO DISCOUNT for that . Check out time I had to wait 7 minutes noone was at the desk. The best part of my stay was Kimberly she made me feel like a queen. She checked on me im disabled and made sure I had a wheel chair accessible room. House keeping was awesome. Not sure if I will ztay here again anytime soon. Also the carpet didnt smell fresh in my room.

The breakfast was great! It was hot, fresh, and great selection of choices. The location was great! It was far from many of the great attractions. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The pool was clean. The outside furniture was very nice and clean! The staff was exceptionally friendly from the morning staff to the evening staff! I will definitely stay again!

Not charging an additional deposit per night

The cleanliness of the building. The staff that we dealt with was very kind and patient. There was a bar and great breakfast. Plenty of seating. Close to the interstate. It was quick for us to get to any part of the city.

Surrounding neighborhood was almost deal breaker. However the staff made sure to keep the property free from trouble. We were comfortable walking to the 7-11 on the corner. People in the area paid us no any attention.

The location was easy to access and for a last minute emergency booking the price was excellent. Holiday Inn is one of favorite hotel chains.

The agent did not inform me that your room key card was needed to gain access to your designated floor when using the elevator. I had trouble getting the key card to work, after several attempts we finally able to exit on the correct floor. Although it's been awhile since my last visit to this very location, I've never had to use my key card to access the elevator. However I do like that other guests just can't roam the different floors but does cause a bit of an issue if you have family on different floors and you want to check on them.

The location was not far from the cruise terminal and right off 95.

Everything was good! I didn’t like that we had to pay for parking with a third party vendor. Other than that it was great place to stay. This was our second time staying there and will probably stay another time when in the area.
