Location - the hotel is located on the street that runs all the way down to downtown and different attractions. There are a lot of places to get lunch or breakfast. The flexibility and communication - we were able to check in ourselves due to late arrival and the staff were very quick to respond with instructions. The room itself - it was spotless and looked very stylish, everything was working properly in the room and there was a lot of space, they even had an iron set, although we didn’t need it. It was pretty quiet, although our windows were facing the pool, not the street.

Breakfast - the hotel offers complimentary bagels and coffee, and that’s it. We went down to get a quick bite half an hour before the end of breakfast, but were disappointed to find only bagels, butter and coffee with no milk or cream. Bathroom - there’s no towel hook by the sink and there were only 2 hooks in the bathroom in general. The toilet paper was the thinnest we’ve ever seen, you can’t even unroll it cause it keeps tearing. Last small thing is the amount of messages from the hotel - every message is received via text, email, message on booking.com, which is a bit overwhelming. Also, we received an email about a mandatory check in form 2 days before our booking, but it is only available 24 hours before check in.

Clean and nicely decorated hotel, with plenty of parking available, good wifi quality. Very friendly staff. It is about the same driving distance to Miami Beach and Miami Airport, a short drive to Downtown Miami, easy to find. There are good places to eat/snack around, reachable on foot. The area around is slightly rustic, but feels safe.

I was missing a few things in the room - such as the safe or a water boiler. The beach should be far, not sure if one can swim in the nearby park. My room was in the yard, so I did not hear any noise from the street, but could hear the neighbours relatively clearly

Very nice, renovated room with plenty of space. Although limited we loved the complimentary breakfast options. Wifi worked well. The room was pretty clean except for the floors- very dirty socks in a few minutes. There was free parking with enough space.

Floors were dirty, there was a very strong smell of cleaning agents (or perfume?) in the room and pool was very meh.

Loads of good coffee and food places nearby. Only about a 15/20 min drive to Miami Beach!

Noisy, could hear guest above or next to us talking and coughing. You could hear street noise, but that’s something we expected being in the area we were in.

Our stay exceeded our expectations as The New Yorker Miami Hotel is so much nicer than other similarly priced hotels in Florida. Breakfast bagels and coffee in a beautifully decorated yard. Free parking. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Cool design elements all around the hotel. Would stay here again if we come back to Miami.

I like the quaint style of the hotel, it was something from 50, 60's era yet it was current in 2025. I enjoyed my stay. We were on lower level and it was very quiet, got a lot of rest and it's right close to Route 66 Taco restaurant which was delicious. The nachos are amazing and very filling enough for two. We met a family celebrating his daughter's 40 birthday and they shared a meal with us, it was catered in the courtyard was great wholesome fun. I never had vegan ice cream but they rented truck and it was delicious. It was in downtown area of Miami, can't wait to return. Would stay again. The bed was comfy, the ac not too much but we didn't need it. We had free Netflix and TV worked great. Wifi was good too. If you are in Miami, I would choose the New Yorker! Close to everything!

I don't have a dislike, I just think it could had been more cleaner - I don't recall but one time someone was cleaning the units, but no one knocked we just heard someone outside and it was a cleaning lady, she gave us towel & wash rags.

Location is great, almost everything 10min away (miami beach, wynwood, little havana) The pool was really appreciated with 95°f outside. Staff was super friendly and sweet Room was new and cleaned, beds were confy, tv got platforms like Netflix if you like to chill sometimes We spend 8 nights in total in two differents rooms, one with a balcony. Best hotel we did in Florida

I think some people are smoking in their room or in their bathroom at night. Not sure, but it smelled like it especially in our bathroom so it was kind of inconfortable some time to time

We stayed four nights. The room was very clean and spacious. We received room service and clean towels every day. As the rooms were self-check-in, we didn't interact with staff members. As for the location, I think it was pretty good. There is a 24-hour convenience store and some coffee shops and restaurants next to it. We only used Uber, so I can't tell much about public transportation. However, every touristic place was around 10 - 15 minutes away in uber. We could leave our luggage in the reception area for a few hours after checkout. Considering the hotel is on a busy road, we did not hear the traffic, which was great for sleeping late.

The common area where the pool is looked quite abandoned. I think it used to be a mini bar, but it's closed. Some tables and beach chairs with old cushions look like they are from thrift shops. I think that area needs renovation. Or maybe that's the intended design...I don't know :) The only bad part regarding our stay was that there was no reception at night, so the self-check-in code we had to enter the room didn't work one night. We called the number on the website, which also took you to some general call centres for other hotels. Then they tried to contact someone from the property, but they couldn't. We stayed around 30 minutes at 2 am in front of the door, trying to get in. Eventually, we managed, but still, it would have been nice to have someone there to ask for help.

- room was big enough with small open space for wardrobe and suitcases - the lady at the reception was very nice - although no breakfast was booked or included, there were bagels with optional spreads (cream cheese, jam) and coffee in the small garden/bar area - sufficient parking spaces - If you have your own car, the location is quite good. 5 minutes drive to the design district and about 12 minutes to Wynwood Walls, 20 minutes to Miami South Beach. Without a car it is a bit remote from the center

- there should definitely be more storage space in the bathroom. - otherwise it was good
