I asked a cleaning lady to clean my room and did not leave a "do not disturb" sign on the door and the room did not get cleaned. Also the process to return the $150 deposit took too long to retrieve the money. My suggestion is: After the Deposit is voided, inform the client via text that: Now the Client has to contact their bank. I was told it would automatically go into the bank 3-10 business days. It wasn't automatic.

The reception was very helpful when we arrived and left.The room was cleaned well daily. The bed was very comfortable. The roof pool was good. Great location close to ocean drive.

The bar next door was loud until midnight but we knew that before we went so it's not a complaint.

Great Stay – We Don’t Understand the Negative Reviews! We had a really great time at this hotel. Of course, if you're looking for complete peace and quiet, this might not be the place for you – it's right on Ocean Drive, in the heart of the action. But that's exactly what makes it such a fun and lively location for a Miami vacation! Our room was clean and, despite the location, actually quiet. Yes, there’s music playing during the day until the evening, but that’s to be expected in this area. You’re on holiday – not going to bed at 10 PM! The pool was open, clean, and had a nice view of the city . The beach is just two blocks away – super convenient! The staff were also friendly and helpful. One tip: if you want to avoid extra charges, just don’t use the minibar and remember to return the beach towels at the end of each day. We would definitely stay here again!

The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. But just around the corner, there’s the 13th Street Garage – it’s a covered parking garage, costs $20 per day, and is monitored, so we felt safe leaving our car there.

Let me start by saying that the ladies at front desk Valentina and her coworker are the best of the best. Nothing better to start a vacation than a warm welcome at the hotel by them. They helped us from the beginning with our reservation for our anniversary by phone since we’ve stayed here before. They made us feel so happy to be back. They were kind, sweet, helpful and accommodating with us since we got there early in the morning and the check in was at 3pm. They took our bags so we could go on with our day in SOBE. When the room was ready around 1pm they called us to check in early. We reserved a suite but I requested to be on the 1st floor due to back problems and they were able to assign us a room very close to the restaurant area on the 1st floor. The room was pristine, beautiful and big just the way we wanted it and for our surprise they gave us a wine bottle as our anniversary gift. We got to enjoy the rooftop pool and some drinks there as well. We then ate at the restaurant and let me say that it was delicious. The hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from ocean drive. Everything is walking distance and the location is just perfect. It’s our 3rd time staying here and we will definitely keep choosing The Fairwind Hotel in the future for our next trips to Miami. All the staff was great. Our stay couldn’t be any better. We will see you soon. Thank you.

We loved everything about it.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property. The staff and manager were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially when we requested to change our room. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The location is optimal, with easy access to all the attractions and amenities we wanted to visit. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend this hotel to friend groups/couples looking for a perfect stay.

The music from the restaurant/club in the inner yard was initially bothersome. However, the staff was extremely helpful and assisted us in changing rooms, so it was no longer an issue. Despite this, I would hesitate to recommend this hotel to families with small children.

Nothing but bartender during the day (female) could have been a bit more friendlier . Also they add 20% to your bar tap and don’t tell you .. then try to get more

It was kept very clean except by the pool area. I think a much better job could have been done there. I didn’t spend much time there anyway. The room was as expected and looked mostly like the pictures shown. They upgraded my room so that was extremely nice of the staff. All the staff there are very friendly and helpful people. They really do go above to accommodate you. It’s in a great location with everything in walking distance. I would definitely re-visit The Fairwind!

The pool area was a bit dirty for me. Not the pool itself but where the lounging area is, there was food and trash all over the place.

The ambience was great, the location two streets away from the volleyball courts was really an exceptional surprise. Many restaurants around the neighborhood, always something to do. We also appreciated the staff who were very attentive and accommodating. It was not too noisy the are, which was also appreciated.

Not to the Hotel's fault, we we booked through Booking.com, but our 5 person room did not fit 5 people. The hotel indicated that it was an issue with Booking.com, as they can only accommodate a maximum 4 people. Awaiting a refund or more information as to how to proceed, as we were not able to accommodate the 5th person.

Location is very good. Very close to beach, ocean drive (main strip), close to Lincoln mall. Hotel is clean, first thought it was odd how the elevator is not from main lobby but though the restaurant area. But then got used to it and seems to be style in area for most hotels anyways. Pool is on roof top, very nice view. Room is very spacious, balcony is nice, sink is outside the bathroom which can serve both as a convenience and inconvenience depending on the person. For me as a mom with a family it was good as someone can be getting ready while another showering etc. Room service was good and very clean. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

Pool hours were short, they close at 7. Would’ve liked it for longer especially with kids. Tanning beds on roof top were stained and gross. However the chairs around the pool were good

Great location and really good value compared to other places in Miami Beach

We received a direct message on booking.com asking us to verify our booking or it would be cancelled. When clicking the link it asked for credit card details. I contacted the hotel who said ‘sorry we have been hacked’. It was a very strange experience and did put a lot of doubt in my mind. The holding charge on my credit card hasn’t been removed yet either following checkout
