The breakfast was just ok. There were no pork alternatives. There are several restaurants that offer discounts if you’re staying at Breakwater and the food was good!

More options for non pork eaters with the free breakfast would be nice. Our room was good but I will say that each superior king room is different. We had carpet but my cousin who was on a different floor didn’t have carpet. We also had a nice big bathroom with double sinks but my friend two rooms down didn’t.

The Breakwater is located in the heart of Ocean Drive - Miami Beach. Enjoyed our stay so much. Could be rebooked the main building and are very thankful to Elisa Harold, who did a great job on this :-) You must know, It's crowdy and load every evening. But if you go hanging out with the guys it's great fun. See and to be seen is all that matters. And the fantastic cars on the Oceandrive :-) WOW Can recommend some days. Beach is very near :-)

Breadfast is poor.... no tea available, only coffee and water.... Bring own food and enjoy or have breakfast in another place ;-)

The room is a far cry from the pictures on all booking websites. The room was extremely basic. There was no color or accents. I was very disappointed 😞.

Close to beach, resturants and nightlife. Hotel provided free beach towels and chairs.

I did like the convenience of being right off of ocean because of all the bars, lots of places to eat lots of music and vibes. The beach is a decent walk from the hotel but it’s really not that bad. Room was home looking didn’t give off a whole hotel vibe, which was really nice

I didn’t really care for having to walk from the hotel lobby through an entire restaurant and an ice cream shop to get up to my room, but I also didn’t mind it. It was nice to see a little ice cream shop when I got out of my room in the morning. We had water pouring through a light fixture called down to office. Never heard anything back to see if any of our stuff got wet or anything.

We stayed in the penthouse ocean which was great, it had its own private infinity pool and the balcony was huge, with ocean view and views of the south beach strip ( Ocean drive) which was perfect.

The t.v gave us some trouble and it took over an hour for the maintenance guy to come. The other thing I didn't we didn't like the most was the balcony door did not lock at all and the only time it did lock was when it locked me and my husband in the room that he had to climb out the bathroom window to open the door from the outside. We called the front desk and was told there was nothing they can do until the maintenance guys came in later that morning. Thank God my husband was able to get out through the bathroom window otherwise we wouldn't have been able to go out to the balcony until someone finally came to help.

The location was great! The food, music, and atmosphere were on point. The staff was nice and friendly, for the most part. Great location if you are looking to have some fun!

The night shift worker was lazy. The ice machine wasn't working and we notified the front desk and nothing was done. We couldn't find the paper with the wifi info and when we called the front desk, we were told we had to wait until the next day to get it from the morning staff. The beds were VERY uncomfortable; hard as rocks. There were no screens in the windows so we couldn't let any fresh air in and the wall to get into the tub is extremely high making it difficult to get in and out of the tub safely.

The rooms are a great size and sho is the bathrooms. When we walked into our room, it smelled like they had just cleaned it. I loved that they offered free breakfast too.

The free breakfast was about a block over. The bikes they offered for free seats raise up causing your groin area to hurt and the tires were flat and the steering was not aligned. They offer free beach chairs and towels but they are limited. There are not enough for everyone to get one. The outside bathroom is so ran down and disgusting. Also our bed was leaning to one side. I figured we were just on the side of the hotel that has not been upgraded yet.

Great location on South Beach in beautiful Art Deco area. Beach is across the street.

Free breakfast but staff at breakfast was generally unprepared like coffee not being ready until 20 minutes after start of breakfast and staff seemed to think it wasn’t even important and offered no apologies at all. Front desk staff were good though.

Staff was very easy to deal with. We had an issue with the first room which got resolved immediately by the receptionist Lilly. Very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a huge bedroom. Complimentary Water and coffee in the room.

The room would need to be pre-checked before a guest checks into the room. Our first room had a paint smell as it seemed to have been painted recently. There was a paint tray in the room as well. The receptionist was very helpful and moved us to another room. Florida law doesn't permit windows that can be opened in higher levels which made it quite difficult to get fresh air in. The breakfast was not in the actual hotel but approximately 150m down the Ocean Driver in the "Victor Hotel".
