We stayed 3 nights here at the Boston Marriott newton hotel. I wished parking was free because they have a huge lot on their own property, but it is what it is. The hotel was easy to get to right off the main interstate. We were greeted with wonderful staff right from check in. She even complimentary upgraded the room to a river view. Our Room with two queen beds was clean. Shower was nice and updated compared to some of the hotels I have stayed in. Heated Pool was very nice, clean and bigarea. Although we didn’t use the work out room there was tons of equipment treadmills etc. looked very nice! We paid for extra complementary breakfasts on our booking site. Good thing for that because breakfast buffet would have been expensive by itself. 3 guests in the room and we were never charged anything additional for the breakfasts. Although others were saying the booking comes with only 2 complimentary breakfasts we were never charged for the third. The staff made us aware of that. Buffet Breakfast consisted of eggs, a couple meats, potatoes and some breads and cereals. Usually what most hotels offer so I was happy with that. Would like to see a pancake machine or waffle machine like others offer. Staff was super nice. Housekeeping cleaned the room, and promptly took care of a shower door adjustment for us. Beverage Bar was nice for a few drinks. We never went to the restaurant. Looked very nice with small limited menu. We brought in takeout out from local area establishments. The T subway is right around the corner. We parked there onsite , plenty of paid parking and took a 30 min ride into to Fenway park. Second day took the t subway into the aquarium and that was a 60 min ride after our connecting subway. No complaints, Definitely would stay here again.

Daily Paid parking on site. I do know that everything in the Boston area is expensive, and there are many extra expenses and fees with just about everything you do around the state of Massachusetts. Also would like to see a pancake or waffle machine in the Buffett area like many other breakfast establishments. But that stay was great Thanks

The room very spacious and clean.

Went to breakfast buffet. The waiter never asked if wed been there before? Didn't tell us about the food or the omelet station? The buffet food was Cold not sure iif the chaffers were even hot. The setup was very confusing the toaster was next to omelet bar so you couldn't use the toaster if people were waiting for food The buffet was Differently Not !! worth the Price 25.00 per person! The waiter never came back to ask if we wanted more coffee or anything not very efficient for such a big company . Sorry I was very disappointed.

Your staff were very helpful in getting me the extra coffee supplies, toilet paper etc that we needed as we opted not to have our room made up during g our 3 nite stay but found we ran out of things cause room was sparsely stocked.

Our reservation was for 3 people and there was only bath towels and washcloths in bathroom for 2 people. Had to call front desk for more but my husband and I had to share a towel that morning . Also that parking is not included in hotel rate and that we had to pay $16 extra each nite. This was not explained in the booking site.

Room was very dated (hated the barn door for the bathroom) and just below the meeting room on lobby level so somewhat noisy. Chair in room was very uncomfortable. Food was OK but not worth the price. Seems many things were available,,,,,,,at a cost ! Will probably not be my first choice for future travel.

We needed this hotel as a stop-over outside Boston, after coming off a flight from the UK, and before heading to the Berkshires the next day. As such it was perfect for us. Diner was decent bar food, served by a friendly, helpful waitress, and the breakfast buffet the next day was large and varied, making the kids particularly happy. There was also a pool for them to play in for an hour or two before we continued our journey. Everyone was very pleased with the choice.

Our room was clean and comfy. Great lighting on the bathroom mirror! The restaurant had great food, too. We had breakfast there for 2 days. We had both the buffet and menu items. The wait staff was so friendly and cheerful. Also LOVED that there was a Starbuck's in the lobby. Nice to have on the way out the last morning.

My only "complaint" with the room concerned the TV. It appeared that I needed to plug in some tablet or laptop to watch any shows?? Basic live TV was non-existent. Most likely, it was operator error on my part, and it was okay as I wanted to read before sleeping, anyway.

Beautiful view, love how close to the water and trails it is. Able to leave the hotel and go outside ( almost like a cottage but no fire) love the idea of a place to eat AM noon and Dinner ( decent times for opening and closing )

Only think was we never got clean glasses and our carpet felt like it was never vacuumed when we came back for our day of hockey.

The property had a stunning view, beautiful to see the fall foliage. It was really convenient, close to major roadways. The staff at the front desk was excellent, a pleasure to deal with!

The stay was fantastic, the only negative thing I can think of was the road work being done by the entrance, however that was out of the Marriott's control since it was being done by the township

The property itself is older, but they have made a great effort to update and improve the facilities. The grounds were beautiful. The setting was right on the Charles River, with outdoor seating to take advantage of the location. A lovely gazebo and a pond were also located on the large expanse of green space. Near the property was a marina where you could rent watercraft to leisurely paddle the river.

As mentioned, the property was older, and there was some need of repair on the balcony. Only the second floor of the property had balconies. Unfortunately, a large event tent sat squarely in front of our balcony, obscuring most of the view of the river. It was not in use the weekend of our stay, but, I can imagine the noise might be a problem for those rooms facing the river if there was an event.

The front staff where great and handled everything smooth with the amount of people checking in and were very pleasant

The onsite restaurant was awful the water there was one of the worse i have ever had not tentative, not respectful and cared less of me and my 2 kids as customers. The food was over priced for what you receive and the kids meals were not appetizing
