I liked the comfortable bed and linens, good (not great) towels. Room size fine. In room fridge nice and cold. Although in an industrial type area the location was safe, convenient and next to Seven Seas Brewery and Camp Colvos Brewery which is a definite plus. It's also near the downtown museums and university campus. We had a great view of Mt Rainier from our room. A few years ago we stayed at The Hotel Murano a 4 star place. I'd rather stay here although I did really enjoy the numerous pieces of artwork at Hotel Murano.

There's not much to not like except when it was the Holiday Inn Express there was a complimentary breakfast. Now there's a restaurant and bar area so that makes up for the change. All in all I'll stay there again

location was good. It was bar exam season so the price was expensive. However the facility was very good and the staff was very kind. Did not have a chance to order breakfast because many bar exam takers were there.. crowded. Luckily I brought my own food so it was okay

Again the timing was bad. Bar exam season so.. Furthermore, Tacoma itself is very quite and boring place.. not even a convenient store near the hotel.. Anyhow, in that situation, it was best choice I can say. the facilities was very good. The workers were nice.

Room was very nice and upgraded with great artwork and furnishings. Bathroom was nice size and I loved how they had a full length mirror and a light over it. So nice to be able to get ready while my husband is in the shower.

It was a bummer there was construction outside as it made it difficult to pull in since there are several one-way streets. Once inside, they did have signage all around with regards to the construction and remodeling, which was great. Beds were not as comfortable as I would have hoped. They were fine and bedding was nice, but the bed itself could have been better. That is just my opinion.

The full breakfast bar well supplied and had good variety. Room was exceptionally clean and very large. It was as quiet as could be for a downtown location. Beautiful view of Mt. Rainer, and the Chahuli Glass Bridge was only 2 blocks away. Very good value for hotel stay. Secure parking was reasonable fee. We enjoyed it.

The hotel was being remodeled, which they didn't mention when we booked, but it was still a nice stay. The view is better on the south side of the hotel.

Beds were so cozy. Room was cold when we walked in. Love that they have all the amenities like the ironing board, hair blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, Keurig, free coffee, microwave and refrigerator. Free breakfast was complete with bread, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruits, etc. They even have a take-out bag available if you need it! I love that they have hot chocolate for those who don't drink coffee. And the staff were really nice. Location is good. It was walking distance from the University and little shops. Parking outside is safe. They will clean your room everyday.

No bottled water in the room. Had to ask for some. You have to ask for toiletries. Wish it was all placed in the room. The little store downstairs did not have much selection in their refrigerator. All they had was cheese pizza and some drinks. No Pepto-Bismal for sale.

Front desk staff was super helpful and professional. Room was clean and love how spacious the bathroom was! Location was also right next to the campus so lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel was doing some renovations during our stay. While it wasn't disruptive, it just limited us on certain things like vending machines, etc. And the breakfast area ws super tight for all guests.

Staff was amazing and super helpful! Easy and quick check in and even quicker checkout! Love these rooms! Loved the art, the bed, the curtains and how well the wall color went with the furniture! I didn't want to leave this room! So easy and convenient for the History Museum!

They are currently under construction so it may be a lil further walk to get to breakfast or outside.

Great location. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful waitstaff. Room was well-furnished, and when I booked the room I wasn't aware of the food and snack choices available for purchase were in the entryway!

The weather. I didn't even think of bringing an umbrella. Please dial it back on the rain for my next visit.

We stay here whenever we have shows at the Tacoma Dome. It's clean, comfy, and an easy walk from the Dome. A little disappointed that they changed their free breakfast to a paid restaurant which was a big draw for us.

They don't allow late checkouts anymore and not having free breakfast is disappointing.

Very comfortable bed and cozy rooms! They have a convenience store area with reasonably priced (for a hotel) things like snacks and even TV dinners. (Wish we knew that before searching for late night food elsewhere.) The free breakfast was the first hot food I've gotten from a hotel since the pandemic. Parking was easy to access/use and was secure. All staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. We were there for a show at the Tacoma Dome and it was perfect walking distance (and felt very safe to walk.)

We could hear our upstairs neighbors stomping around and someone in another room having a normal-voiced conversation. This did not inhibit our ability to sleep, but it's not something I'm used to in a hotel like this one. If you're a light sleeper who turns in early, bring earplugs.
