The staff were very friendly, and even offered us to check in before the slot. They also kept our luggages in the luggage room until we went to eat. They also helped us when we asked them which transport is best to go to the eiffel tower, explaining the particular stops we have to stop at. The room was spacious for a couple since it was a 4 guest room. Very close to the train station which was a big plus! Was also close to ameneties like food and basic needs. The room was still quiet and private even though it was close to everything!

The elevator was small and so we had to make more than 1 trip to take up the luggages.

I liked that it was really close to a metro line. It’s very central. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were friendly. The view from our room was really nice.

The lift is very small, could just about fit myself and my suitcase. You have to walk up a few steps to access the lift too so it wouldn’t be accessible for wheelchair users. The room was quite hot at times too without the radiator on.

Friendly and helpfull staff at the reception desk. Single room was small but it's enough when you're here to travel and explore Paris instead of staying all day long in the hotel room. Generally clean, bed was OK. No AC but huge fan was there when I arrived. Really good cafes are just nearby. Excellent starting point for exploring the city, bus stop and metro station are very close. As well as Gare de Est and Gare Nord if you're travelling by train.

Floor in the corridor have good old days behind. The elevator is definitely too small. Yes, it's kinda oldschool but if you bring some serious luggage, then it'll be problem to get onto higher floor. No AC, there was a fan in the room but it's too loud to use it at night. Of course I understand this is old building and some cases could be not possible to implement.

Staff were friendly, location was great, felt very safe and lovely restaurant underneath the hotel. Breakfast was continental but baked fresh and always topped up. The smell of the crossiants cooking was lovely to wake up to. I would return to this hotel, fantastic as a base and beds were comfy. We had no issues at all and it was very clean. Clean Towels and beds made everyday. Would recommend this hotel for a base to explore Paris.

I liked the location,the room with balcony and view and the shower 🚿☺️Good for short stay.

The elevator was tiny and barely two people could get in. Also the wi-fi had connectivity issues.

All the things you needed was there, extra blankets, nice shower gel, enough lights, hair dryer and enough towels. Which got renewed every day and your bed gets made every day as well which is really nice when coming home again after exploring Paris. Also, the place had a very nice location near the main train station (Gare du Nord) and next to Gare du L'est. A lot of nice good restaurants and shops nearby, and easy to walk to nice neighbourhoods like Le Marais and the 9th, 10th arondissements.

It had some minor things that showed to be old/rausty. Like stains in the floorbedding. But also in the halls. A door from the shower was missing. And the wifi wasn't working at all or the connection was very slow/bad.

Delightful, almost nostalgic. Very old feeling, small and dingy, but has very kind staff and everything you would need so I found it instead full of whimsy! Bed was clean, fan was nice to have, bathroom size was okay given the small space.

If you have more than one bag, the elevator will not be able fit you. Smallest elevator I’ve ever been in. Also the floor in the room was uneven? Like, a tripping hazard.

everything was good, staff was helpful, Microwave is available and we i kept my luggage till 5pm after check out. But stop is in walking distance for less than 5 min and metro station is withing 5 to 7 min walking distance. ATM is also within 5min walk if want to withdraw cash

Lift is in small size, 2 luggage bag and 1 person can travel at 1 time. But that is manageable and in other reviews also it is mentioned

Friendly reception, very clean everywhere, great breakfast. I liked that you had to be buzzed into the building, as it's right near the train station and there are lots of people coming and going. I appreciated that security. The price was great for how nice it was, especially right next door to the train station.

The shower doors didn't close well, leaving wet floors and kind of flooding the bathroom (as happened in another Paris hotel -- is this a Paris thing?) There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. IT WAS HOT. HOWEVER, we were provided a fan and we survived the 5th floor, but didn't feel very rested: we had to keep the window open and the folks on the street were LOUD until about 3 am. Without AC, I think more than one night would have been miserable -- but you can't control the weather. If you can handle the heat, this place is just lovely!
