The location was great - within close walking distance of 2 Metro Stations. Also within walking distance of the Louvre (maybe 10 mins). Staff were very welcoming & we were happy with the size of the room & bathroom. 2 adults shared the room in December & the room was warm and the beds very comfortable. The shower (above the bath) had good pressure and the sink area was large enough to put all our toiletries. The room had a kettle with tea & coffee. When we needed a top up I asked the reception team & they were happy to provide. A bottle was provided and you could fill this up with filtered water in the breakfast area downstairs. The hotel does have a lift which makes life easy with suitcases. I can't comment on the breakfast as didn't eat.

Everything. We had stayed here probably 6-8 times over the years and always look here first when we come to paris. Excellent and always friendly and helpful front desk. They can’t be beat. Fernando is wonderful, helpful and friendly, taking our luggage to our room and generally making sure that we Have all we need. Location of the hotel also cannot be beat. Minutes from the opera, the large department stores, vendome square with the ritz hotel and rue st honore with all the luxury shopping one can handle. A stroll to the louvre and crossing the seine to the left bank and everything it offers. Marais 20 minute walk. We go everywhere walking to st Germain on the left to marais on our side. The hotel staff arranges for your return to the airport too. Room normal size for paris. Our bathroom was redone nicely. Towels really absorvant and thick and new. Queen bed very comfortable and we could open our windows because of the fifth floor the heat tends to be too hot for me.

Pros 1. Supportive staff 2. Spacious room and washroom 3. All toiletries provided on request 4. Awesome location - walking distance to almost everything! Most must see destinations within 2-3 kms. Metro just 5 min walk away, awesome eating joints options - be it French, Lebanese, Thai, or Korean cuisine. 5. Galaries Lafayette, H&M, Zara - you name it and you will find it at walking distance of 5-7 min.

Cons Only one - we checked in around 8, exhausted from all the travel and there was no drinking water in the room. Had to take the empty bottles kept in the room back to ground floor to fill from their RO. Only 2 bottles provided and that too someone nicked away from the RO spot when we weren’t looking so then were given a bottle without a cap as they didn’t have another in stock!!! Drinking water was the only issue here that really irked us!

When I booked the hotel, I asked if we could get a room with a bath. This because I was traveling with my mom and I wanted to surprise her, so I was pleased to see a bath in the bathroom! It made my mom very happy. What we liked as well was that they cleaned the room every day, even though we didn't hang the sign on the door. They made the bed, refilled the coffee and tea and gave us clean towels. Also all the staff spoke English very well and helped us whenever we had a question. We didn't book breakfast with our reservation but on the very last day we decided to have breakfast at the hotel. We had two options: breakfast buffet or express breakfast, which included coffee or tea, jus d'orange, half a baguette, a croissant and butter and jam. We chose the latter one, as we're not the biggest breakfast-eaters, and it was amazing. We loved this option!

The socket didn't work in the bathroom, so we had to dry our hair in the "hall", because that was the only place with a socket and a big enough mirror.

The location was excellent. The look of the hotel was what attracted me - traditional style Parisian architecture. Clean and very nice inside.

Shower system in the bath not good as no curtain to pull across so water goes everywhere however careful you are. Ended up wiping down the floor. Also, the bathroom door leads right off the bedroom, rather than a door by the main room door, so the person with the bed on that side is very close to the bathroom door. Just not very pleasant being this close.

Location was good- well placed to galeries Lafayette- roughly 7-10min walk Rooms were spacious- although one of our room had an odor coming from the bathroom- did request for them to fix otherwise switch room. Odor wasn't there the next day, but the remainder of our stay it came back. Provided with what a 4 star hotel should provide regarding amenities- although the free filtered refill station is on ground floor which at times, can be a little inconvenient Bed's were comfortable Close by to various Asian cuisine- Japanese, Korean, Thai and if you were to walk a further 5-10mins, more were available. Local Cafe's, Bubble tea shops, chocolatiers and some boutique shops About a 10-15min walk to Place Vendome/Champs Elysees- for your boutique high end brand names Close to the Opera metro Staff were friendly Breakfast was 'ok'- typical continental breakfast- coffee pods were good Easy for Uber/Taxi to access Close to Louvre Museum and about a 20-30min walk to both Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triumph Rooms were quiet enough- small balcony outside our bedroom gave it that "French" feeling when you wanted to just stand and take it in- our room was just facing the street with no real view of any landmarks. Expected to pay a little over the median/average for location- pretty much in the middle of 9th, 8th and 2nd Arr. is pretty good. We felt safe during the evening strolls

Aside from the odor coming from the bathroom/air vents in one of our rooms and the free filtered water fountain on ground floor- pretty hard to find our dislikes of the place. Sure, 17 euro per person/day for breakfast was a little hefty- should consider paying for breakfast on a daily basis (like how we did) vs paying for the entire week for it

What a great stay! The hotels staff very polite, nice and helpful. Was responding very fast to any requests of mine. I appreciate it a lot - you're just amazing! Process of check in was very fast. Room itself was like on the advertised pictures. Comfy beds, pretty spacious bathroom. Cleaning ladies responsible for preparing rooms, did amazing job - cleaning was spotless. Room equipped with flat TV and many TV channels to select in various languages. Room has big windows which was giving a lot of light into the room. However if you like to sleep in complete darkness, room have very thick and well light-isolating curtains. Despite of hotel location not far from the Av. de l'Opera (and Opera Garnier) which tend to have pretty serious traffic in the daytime, it was pretty quiet in the room. Street in front of the hotel is very calm and there is almost no traffic. Hotel have great location for the simple walk to Louvre or Opera Garnier and Galerie Lafayette. Also there is couple of metro lines and RER line not far from hotel, which gives great opportunity to reach all parts of Paris without any serious efforts.

Location was perfect! Right in the heart of Paris with very easy access to metro station and other transportation. Endless selection of food choices and activities. We are already planning a return to this hotel, if not for this general area. Hotel itself is nice with amazing staff and very accomodating, friendly folks. I would highly recommend this place for people wanting to visit Paris because of the staff and the hotel location.

Location was perfect for getting around and close to the metro, room was comfy & breakfast was good. The staff was extremely friendly and so gracious. Sandra saved our lives by getting us the last room available as our reservation at a different hotel where we had a confirmation number, told us they didn't have it and the rude girl at the desk had me in tears. Sandra and the entire staff were so kind. Merci to all
