The room was quiet spacious and had a lovely view of the Parisian streets. We loved that it was right across to a laundromat so we could do our washing! Staff were very friendly and helpful and location was great. We took the metro everywhere in Paris and had no issues with getting back to the hotel. The closest metro station is about 5mins walk, and Gare du Nord is only about 15-20min walk away. Neighbourhood felt very safe and clean and had plenty of restaurants/bakeries in the surrounds. Would recommend.

Bathroom is quite small with the shower having a slight step to enter. The shower itself is also quite tight and we are both small people. No issues for us but something to consider for the elderly/tall people. There is also one lift which is quite slow, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get in and out. We had to wait 3x the morning we were checking out before we could get into the lift as it only fits 1 person + suitcase and 2-3 people if there's no suitcases.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and in quiet location, very kind and polite staff. They even prepared a small birthday present for me, cause I stayed there for my birthday trip. That was unexpected surprise and made me feel like staff really cares about their guests. Staff were always ready to assist with any of our needs. Have stayed in many hotels in Paris before, but this was for sure the best one. Will recommend to others! Thank you!

My only suggestion would be to provide wine glasses in the room, but I’m sure staff would have given us some if we had asked. But that’s just a minor suggestion.

Concierge and staff were all incredibly kind and positive. I got upgraded to a larger room (double instead of single), which was a nice surprise, and they went out of their way to acknowledge my upcoming 40th birthday. The room is cozy, modern, and clean! Breakfast was good (pastries, egg/sausage, cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt). The shower was very compact but fine for me! Good location for lots of restaurants and metro choices. Would 100% return.

I would have appreciated advanced notice of a maintenance issue with my shower, but they switched me to a different room with no hesitation. So it was all ok in the end.

Hotel Joe M is in a great location not far away from the metro, and in the midst of a few restaurants (and an awesome crepe place down the street). Clean, furnished well, and very friendly staff! We didn’t use the sauna - but it’s available for private bookings at a cost per hour. Also note that you don’t keep your hotel room key - the hotel requests that you give the key back to them every time you leave the residence, and you ask for it back when you come back to the hotel.

Although it’s an overall a great place, the hotel and rooms themself are actually very small. We booked a double bed with a balcony, and the shower & bathroom was VERY tiny, and there was little room to walk around the bed (very similar to rooms you would find in Japan). From the photos of even the lobby, etc, I had an impression that this place was bigger than it actually was. I would also argue that the rooms are quite basic (nothing necessarily fancy) for the price you’re paying for. However - this can all be subjective already knowing that generally Paris prices are quite expensive and hotels rooms are typically smaller.

I booked the hotel at the last minute and didn't expect much. But it was just surprisingly really nice and cute! I stayed in a single room. Great facilities, super clean. Comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast with great products, which you won't expect at a simple hotel. Extremely nice staff. It was quiet in the room, and no noise from the outside – possibly because my windows looked out into the backyard. The AC worked perfectly. Location is convenient and close to the metro. Overall: extremely positive experience, thank you very much!

Wifi didn't work in my room (floor 4). There was a strong wifi connection in the breakfast room, however. Therefore, it was likely a problem specific to my floor. I shared the info with the staff member so hopefully it will be solved for the other guests!

Great location.Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely but limited choice after 3 days. Room ok but air conditioning wasn't working in the hotel and the room was very hot. After asking they gave us a fan which helped but wasn't what we paid for. A bit disappointed. The room was ok but the superior room wasn't amazing as the room wasn't huge and the bathroom very small. If you dropped the soap in the shower you had no hope of picking it up as not enough room to swing a cat !! Just about ok for the money if the air conditioning was working but it wasn't and they tried to say that they decided not to have it on during a mini heat wave ??

This property is located in a prime location with easy access to all local links (bus, metro etc.). Reception lobby clean and spacious and staff were excellent and helpful. Overall good value for money and a lot cheaper than other alternatives in the area.

The room that we got was quite small (even though it did come with a lovely balcony). There was only 2 of us and we found it at times claustrophobic especially the bathroom as it’s just a sliding door with no lock, so I would say whoever you are sharing the room with that you be comfortable with listening to each other in the bathroom area.

Staff was very kind and helpful! Room was clean with everything I needed, bed was comfortable. Complimentary coffee and pastries were a nice touch. I was able to walk or bike to all main areas of Paris. I had two large windows that open to the street.

The air conditioning didn't work (I know this is a very american thing but i specifically search and pay for AC bc I have a problem being hot, and to have AC but not have it work is misleading. It wasn't too warm during my stay since weather was mild, did get hot during day. Room was a little less nice than the photos. could be loud early mornings when trash came.

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of the 9th arrondissement - a short walk from plenty of shops, restaurants and easy access via bus and metro. The room was cosy and clean. It had all the amenities you needed in a room and the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful to any questions. We did have an issue with the flush to our toilet on the final night on our stay, but the hotel staff were quick to check the issue, and offered us an upgrade to our room due to the inconvenience within the hour! Overall a lovely location, great hotel and perfect for a long weekend stay.

The best parts about our stay was the customer service, the reception staff were all so lovely and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The area is also perfect, feels really central with loads of great restaurants, cafes and bars around, with a great train station (Grand Boulevard) right around the corner. The room was great, has everything you need and most importantly super clean. The price point feels right for the value of what you get.

The walls are a bit thin, so if you're a light sleeper perhaps expect to be woken up a few times in the night of people coming and going from their rooms, and even from next door. Wasn't a huge issue for me, but something to keep in mind. The shower is quite small, again, doesn't bother me because I'm on the smaller side but also something to keep in mind.
