I really enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the room size, which was slightly larger than the average Japanese hotel. The location is also excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from Fujisawa Station. The bed and pillow were quite comfortable, and the washing machine worked perfectly, which was a big plus.

There wasn’t anything I particularly disliked. If I had to mention something, maybe the check-out time — it was at 10 a.m., and I think 11 a.m. would have been more reasonable.

Third time staying at Smile Hotel and that says everything. Price has been lower than most other hotels so really good value. Rooms are large for Japan, modern and really clean. Location perfect close to station and places to eat. Don't need to go out either as there's a conbini connected at first floor. Highly recommend this hotel

It's just a smaller thing. As I've stayed in different rooms I've noticed that some beds are firmer than others. One bed was close to bit too firm but this is a nitpick.

Prime location, only 5-10 minutes from Fujisawa Station. Surrounded by restaurants, fast food chains, convenience stores, and Don Quixote. Seven Eleven is right under the hotel. Helpful and friendly staffs. Amenities such as night gowns, hair brushes, teeth brushes are provided in the lobby.

The room is very small for 3 people (2 adults and 1 toddler) but I guess that's the Japanese hotel standard. We only stayed for 1 night so it was still bearable, but I wouldn't recommend it for families. It's more suitable for solo travelers orc couples.

Location is great, about 5 mins from Fujisawa station. There is a lot of food around the hotel. There is a 7-11 connecting to the hotel, you just need to get to level 1 and there is a door to 7-11

The staff especially the guy on Friday 1 march night shift should be more accommodating. Yes I did loose the hotel card key, I am always willing to pay for the lost card but he just start showing his unhappy face and putting the cashier roughly into the drawer like he is throwing the box in.

As other people have stated, and I agree, the Breakfast had a good selection of both Japanese and Western foods. Great that there was a 7/11 convenience open 24/7 on the ground floor, as well as a Family restaurant on the 2nd floor that proofed to be beneficial for the evenings/lunch time that we were too tired to go far to find food. The EnoDen (Enoshima Electric Train) station was so close and fun to ride to Enoshima or Kamakura and everything else between. A great place to stay considering the price and location.

A fantastic hotel clean and efficient. Has everything nearby, restaurants, 7/11, train stations and shops including Don Quixote. My room on top floor had fantastic views & there are microwave and clothes washing facilities too.

Could use a dedicated English tv channel for people who stay 2 weeks like myself.

Friendly staff. Room cleaning is good. Location is convenience to access trains. A lot of nice restaurants around the location.

Breakfast provides good choices but not warm enough. 2nd floor is restaurants, the smell is strong (especially at night) and spread into the elevator. The hotel lobby at 4th floor, perhaps keep one elevator just for the hotel guests.

I was lucky to be put on one of the top floors, so I got to see Mt. Fuji which was great. Given the location, it also helped that no noise from the streets came up to the room and it was rather quiet. The room was on the smaller side, but since I did not spend much time in the room it was fine for 2 nights. Bathtub is spacious and the room had all the necessary amenities for a short stay. Easy to reach from Fujisawa station (JR line, connecting back to Tokyo without having to change). Bit more of a trek when wanting to explore Kamakura, but there are bus stops close by that take you into that direction. On one of the days, it was raining heavily, and the hotel staff was so nice to lend me an umbrella for the day (I think they were more surprised I actually returned it at the end after check out).

The staff were very accommodating, breakfast was included i thought until 10:00am but I didn’t read last orders at 09:30am i got to breakfast at 09:38 but at front reception the kind staff spoke to kitchen staff and they allowed my partner and i to order and eat breakfast. Much appreciated
