We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Osaka Namba and had a great experience. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect—just a short two-minute walk and you’re already in Dotonbori, which makes it super convenient and easy to access everything. The only downside for me was the breakfast. The buffet selection wasn’t very impressive and could definitely be improved. That said, everything else about the stay made up for it. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again if we return to Osaka!

Great location- Dotonburi is less than 2 mins away. Clean and well serviced rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. There are 2 microwave ovens and a weighing scale for guests to use, which I thought was useful and thoughtful. Pretty good breakfast- go early for better selections.

Room service was non-existence even though it was stated as one of the services available. We called a few times to order room service but no one answered and when asked at Reception, they weren't able to help at all and just said they didn't know why no one answered. It would also be useful to offer additional tourist services such us selling subway travel card or tour packages.

Location was super close to the main road in Dotonburi & Namba crossing. Super walkable area. Staff was very friendly and communication in English easy. We're traveling with a 2 year old, so we picked the 3 bed room which we could push altogether to one big bed. This allowed us to put toddler up against the wall where she won't fall off. Breakfast was tasty and pretty typical spread of western + eastern food.

They won't give you extra water bottles at the front desk, but sink water is drinkable. They do have a water boiler in the room. Space is tight but room is a good size for Japan. I should have read the description if I wanted a larger space. The bathroom has a window from to the bedroom?? I suppose you can guess what this purpose is for. The bathroom curtain closes but its annoying because you can't use the bathroom light without the light going into the bedroom too.

location is great which is surrounded by restaurants, shop. it is very convenient location.

Walking distance from the metro or train station. The nearby is always crowded. It is near to those KTV and other night club. it is not easy walk with luggage. my room have three beds. three beds were closed to each other and the walking path is too narrow. the luggage was unable to open. one of the bed with dust.

This hotel is all about the location with Dotonbori is on the doorstep. The rooms were not big but they are comfortable and well maintained. The hotel is a bit tired which can be seen in the highly worn carpets but over it was excellent value. This is a busy hotel and you will see the volume of luggage and other visitors at the 11am check out. Even with the demands of all the tourists the staff were very friendly and positive. Given the location and price this is a very good option.

Our room was comfortable and a reasonable size. It was clean with good facilities. The reception staff were helpful and spoke English. There were even microwave ovens available near reception for guests to use to heat food, and a large selection of food available at the Lawson's store adjacent. The location was great, right in the middle of Dotonbori, less than a minute from the canal. We were very happy with our stay there.

The location was next to Dondonki & the Dotomburi area. Perfect since food & shopping options were nearby, The winning criteria of this property is definitely its staffs. We wrongly booked our stay dates and the front desks were able to rectify without a problem. We also requested their help to book us dinner for a restaurant that did not have any booking link. They did it without hesitation. And when we missed the takiyubbin deadline for luggage transport, they still tried to negotiate with the service team. We still didnt manage to send our luggage but it was the thought that counts. And lastly when my 4yo threw a tantrum at the lobby, the staffs gave her some stickers to play with. Major appreciative of these small gestures.

I wish they had white lighting as well. The room was definitely not for a long stay-in since its so romantic.

Very close to Dotonbori so lots of restaurants and grocery/drug stores and shops in the area. The hotel room itself is sufficiently provided with bathroom amenities, daily water bottles, as well as a coffee/tea bar.

While there is a buffet bfast provided, they didn’t change the menu the whole time we were there (7D and 6N)… so after a few days we opt to eat something else for bfast. One down side of the location (that is if you’re with a family with kids) is that it’s actually close to a “red light district”… which I didn’t really know until we got there

The location is very convenient to explore around Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi area. It's just few minutes walk to Namba and Shinsaibashi. Public transportation is also convenient. There are many tube stations nearby the hotel. The room is relatively large for twin bed room in Japan. The reception was friendly and helpful.

There are many host clubs and night clubs around the hotel so it's not very safe to walk around at night. The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful when we checked-in and checked-out. However during the second day our stay, we were told that the room cleaning will be at 10.00-14.00 yet our room weren't cleaned until 14.30. (We already asked the reception around 13.30 if they could clean our room first and they said okay, but it seemed like there were some miscommunication with the housekeeping staff.)
