We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Osaka Namba and had a great experience. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect—just a short two-minute walk and you’re already in Dotonbori, which makes it super convenient and easy to access everything. The only downside for me was the breakfast. The buffet selection wasn’t very impressive and could definitely be improved. That said, everything else about the stay made up for it. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again if we return to Osaka!

Hotel is located at the best location which is at the heart of good food, entertainment and shopping. The room though small has very good amenities, has a very soft bed, ample room where I can store my personal belongings, a vault where you can store valuables and provide ample supply of free bottled water every day. I commend the housekeeping services for making sure our room is cleaned everyday, changes towels and replenishes the toiletries. I also appreciate that there is a vending machine of drink in our floor so that there is no need to leave the hotel if ever there is a need for a quick drink. I also like that there is an ice vending machine in our floor. It is also good that there is a weighing scale at the lobby to see if we have exceeded the allowed baggage allowance even before going to the airport. Hotel receptionist are also polite and accommodating questions that we have being first time visitor in Osaka.

There is really nothing much that I didn't like with the hotel. Maybe a few suggestions as follows: 1) That there be a dedicated microwave per floor instead of having a common microwave at the lobby. 2) I noticed that the upholstery of the seats in the room are a bit rundown and have stain makrs and may need to have it replaced or refurbished.

Great location- Dotonburi is less than 2 mins away. Clean and well serviced rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. There are 2 microwave ovens and a weighing scale for guests to use, which I thought was useful and thoughtful. Pretty good breakfast- go early for better selections.

Room service was non-existence even though it was stated as one of the services available. We called a few times to order room service but no one answered and when asked at Reception, they weren't able to help at all and just said they didn't know why no one answered. It would also be useful to offer additional tourist services such us selling subway travel card or tour packages.

Location was super close to the main road in Dotonburi & Namba crossing. Super walkable area. Staff was very friendly and communication in English easy. We're traveling with a 2 year old, so we picked the 3 bed room which we could push altogether to one big bed. This allowed us to put toddler up against the wall where she won't fall off. Breakfast was tasty and pretty typical spread of western + eastern food.

They won't give you extra water bottles at the front desk, but sink water is drinkable. They do have a water boiler in the room. Space is tight but room is a good size for Japan. I should have read the description if I wanted a larger space. The bathroom has a window from to the bedroom?? I suppose you can guess what this purpose is for. The bathroom curtain closes but its annoying because you can't use the bathroom light without the light going into the bedroom too.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Osaka Namba was an excellent experience with very helpful and accommodating staff. The little things that they did for us (like chocolates for my birthday!!) made a big difference to us and made our stay a very pleasant one. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The location was great being close to the shopping areas of Namba, so it was great for us to navigate our way around the various malls. All in all an excellent place to stay in Namba and we would choose this hotel again when we return to Osaka.

This hotel is all about the location with Dotonbori is on the doorstep. The rooms were not big but they are comfortable and well maintained. The hotel is a bit tired which can be seen in the highly worn carpets but over it was excellent value. This is a busy hotel and you will see the volume of luggage and other visitors at the 11am check out. Even with the demands of all the tourists the staff were very friendly and positive. Given the location and price this is a very good option.

location is great which is surrounded by restaurants, shop. it is very convenient location.

Walking distance from the metro or train station. The nearby is always crowded. It is near to those KTV and other night club. it is not easy walk with luggage. my room have three beds. three beds were closed to each other and the walking path is too narrow. the luggage was unable to open. one of the bed with dust.

Location wise, it is in the centre of all the tourist attractions, like sightseeing, night life and shopping, so if you don't mind the crowd when you get out of the hotel, then this is a good place to stay. When you're tired walking around, after your shopping and food tasting in all viral food there is in the area, it is easy to come back to the hotel and regain your energy.

The bathroom just needed a revamp as it is an oldish hotel.

I like the spacious room. We chose 2 beds with extra sofa bed, which felt super comfortable. While the location is also the best either you travel with small kids or only adult, as you can leave the hotel to explore the fampuse dohtonburi food street that is just right down the street.

I love everything about this stay. Staffs were helpful and welcoming, facilities were all there as you need.
