The location is great for tourists, very close to the bustling Dotonbori canal and shopping streets. The hotel entrance feels classy and modern, and there's plenty of lifts. We loved the rooftop spas, with spacious showers and a choice of indoor and outdoor pools. The ladies powder room was well stocked with products & hairdryers, and I enjoyed the lounge room with vending machines and nice view. The coin laundry was available when we needed it. Breakfast was decent - standard buffet fare with mostly Japanese options. The room decor was clean and tidy, with comfy beds and nice PJs provided. The corner high-floor twin room had an amazing view over Osaka.
The room was cramped, even though I picked the largest one available. There was barely any room at the end of the bed. It was difficult to have my suitcase open, and there's no proper wardrobe, so our things easily took over the room. Nowhere to put a toilet bag in the bathroom, though I mostly used the spa for showering. The hallway carpets looked a bit tatty, but a sign in the hall indicated they were being replaced/fixed.

Stayed at Candeo hotels for 3D2N. Hotel location was great, ~5mins walk to Nippombashi exit 2 which was meeting point for majority of Osaka-Kyoto dah tours. It was also ~9mins walk to Dotonburi the Glico man sign. Hotel staff speaks good english (there were foreigners as well working there) and was able to send my luggage to Itami airport with Next day delivery costs ~JPY2800 (after confirming the possibility with the hotel manager, who was helpful). Breakfast was super crowded, with choices of food typical of the Candeo chain hotels. Room was good, had a queen size bed and pajamas were provided for 2 nights stay. Public bath was also nice with hot onsen and sauna. No need to bring toiletteries as all are available for use at the public bath. Had put a DND sign in front of the door but still the hotel provided fresh towels and bottled water by hanging on the door. Appreciate it!
Reception was super crowded with foreigners mostly from HK, CN, KR and US. Was very noisy at the lobby and seems ppl were tired from their own itineraries and acts as if there’s no one else in the hotel. Due to the super crowded hotel, elevator took very long at 730am (i stayed at 5th floor, had to wait for 2 rounds of the elevator for 1 person to fit in - which was ridiculous). Had to squeeze in the packed elevator as had to be at the designated day tour meeting point and was late for 3 mins just because of the elevator waiting time. Breakfast was super crowded and hotel staff were working hard to refill the food and cleaning the tables. However still some ppl misplaced the used trays and makes it hard for other ppl to put theirs.

Location was amazing! Super close to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping street, and lots of restaurants/cafes nearby. There were about 2-3 metro stations on different lines within a 10-15 minute walk of the hotel which made it very convenient to travel around Osaka. Room size was good, we could easily fit 2 people plus luggage within the room without it being cramped. Bathroom was a bit small but was well equipped with shower/ bath, bidet and toiletries. We stayed on a higher level and couldn't hear any outside noise which is amazing considering how busy the location is. They also have a locker room where you can lock your luggage away on check in / check out day if needed.
Really nit-picking here but there wasn't any tea/coffee provided in our room and the elevators could sometimes be a bit slow but honestly the hotel was amazing.

We had a king room and the bed was gigantic. Larger than a normal king i believe. after many smaller beds it was a dream for my tall husband and I. The room was very spacious for us, and being a few blocks from Dotombori made it quite quiet. I used the women's bath several time and each time was clean, quiet, plenty of towel and beautiful clean bath. It was a wonderful way to start the days. There is even a page on the hotel TV channel that will tell you crowded or empty the men's and women's spas are. The hotel was such a nice calm comfy place to come to at the end of our long days in Osaka.
Nothing. We were so happy to have the last leg of our journey feel like a splurge for a reasonable cost.

The rooftop spa was the highlight of our stay. It was wonderful to be able to soak in the spa every morning and evening. It was particular special being able to soak in the outdoor spa during the cold winter weather. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the famous Glico sign in in Shinsaibashi. A few more minutes walk will take you to Namba train station. Kuromon market is also nearby. We even walked as far as Shinsekai (new world).
The toilet could not be properly flushed on the first 2 days of our stay. When the cleaner did the cleaning on the third day, they must have fixed the problem and it never occur again. Would have been nice to have a properly working toilet from the very first day.

Right in the heart of the Dotonbori area and the amazing spectacle that it provides. Near to hundreds of restaurants and great quality street food. I particularly enjoyed the public hot baths on the top floor with views over the city.

The rooftop "onsen" was the main attraction for us, as well as the location - A couple minutes from Dotunburi and 10 minutes either direction to get to a metro station. The staff were very helpful and I noted good English and Chinese spoken. The public onsen baths felt very accessible for a first time onsen user and I bathed with multiple tattoos with no issues.
The rooms and bathrooms are small, and this is a very busy tourist hotel - which is not a bad thing at all, but worth noting there are often queues at reception. If you want a calm, quiet hotel, pick a different location. If you want easy access back from the bars and a clean and comfy crash pad, I'd recommend.

The hot springs at the top level were really beautiful and were tattoo friendly for my small tattoos! Bed was also really large and comfortable.
Bathrooms were a little small.

We booked the King room with views. Good location. Spacious room. King bed is huge. We could see Dotonbori from our window. Public bath in hotel is unique (we gave it a go, as Australians this was quite an experience). The hotel was very comfortable and had a pleasant aroma in the foyer. A short walk to Dotonbori and America-kura area's, plus lots of other great places. A short walk to train station. We were very comfortable here and would probably stay again.
The bathroom was quite pokey, like a capsule style, so only 1 person could fit at a time. The toilet, vanity and bathroom all in the one space. The in-hotel laundry was convenient however the dryers took forever to dry clothes, we topped up time and still had to hang everything out in the room to air dry. Not a huge issue.

The hotel is located at the street off the busy dontobori and a 15 minutes walk from Kuromon market. It is extremely convenient with three konbini within a quick walk. The staff of this hotel are excellent, from front desk to the breakfast buffet staff. Special mention to Hem G for his professional and helpful attitude!
The room and toilet are slightly cramped for three people. Will recommend to book triplets or separate rooms. The Skyspa are often crowded with kids making playing and making loud noise. It makes it hard to have a relaxing soak.
