The location and cost was very good to explore Osaka. Given that it wasn’t smack in the centre of Dotonbori, it meant we had good quiet nights to sleep and rest.

You have to be careful if you’re a large or tall person, it’s like a standard Japanese accommodation, and not a westernised hotel. So door frames are low and space to move around may be tight for large groups.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. It was really fun to try the yukata and hangout on the tatami. The hotel is also eco conscious which we liked. Checkin and checkout were very easy. We arrived early and the hotel was kind enough to let us store our luggage early and then deliver them up to our room once it was ready. The room had everything we needed and it was a very enjoyable stay.

Me and my sister used the disposable toothbrushes provided by the hotel. The only odd part was that the housekeeping staff threw away them away after only one use and replaced them with new ones. Seems like something that could definitely be used more than once rather than throwing away!

It was lovely to stay in a traditional Japanese style room. There was a lot more space than in other places I had been and I appreciated having a separate toilet. The bedroom itself was nice and cosy. It is walking distance (15-20 mins) to a few different train stations and the garish bright lights of the Dotonbori area.

The areas outside the bedroom didn't seem to have central heating so it was a bit chilly. No views from the room at all and I wasn't too keen on the trashy area of Dotonbori nearby, far too many tourists! Shame there is no communal area to hang out, was a bit isolating.

Fantastic mini appartment, right in the heart of Osaka.

Just be aware that it can be a little loud at night will drunk people wandering down the road.

It's in a quiet area yet near enough for a quick walk to busy Dotonbori. Check in was easy and the sleeping room size is large and comfortable. The futons and pillows were comfortable as well. The hotel is a japanese-style room in an apartment building with an elevator. There is a small kitchenette but you can't cook on the stove. Thank you housekeeping for taking good care of my quokka :) I think he really likes the futon too!

Reception is not available 24 hours, so if you need a taxi in the early hours of the morning, you have to go to the main road to hail one as there is no one available to call you a taxi. Not really a bummer, but more an FYI as I am used to hotels having 24 hour reception.

Good location, close to Dotonbori and other areas. Cleanliness was top-notch. They check and clean the room every day at around 9 AM (a bit early for some, but there’s a lock on the door you can activate, so that they can come back later). Tatami-flooring was in exquisite shape and was comfortable to walk on (without shoes, of course). Being that the guest sleeps in a futon on the floor, it could get a bit uncomfortable at times (but I think this is par for the course and a matter of habit). Just be aware that the check-in desk is not located at the same place as the building with the rooms.

I was expecting a bit more of the surrounding facilities outside the room (but on the premises), but there wasn’t much to do there, other than heading outside to start exploring. It was a bit of a letdown, but this was a nice experience nonetheless.

The location was great, very easy to find and well-connected. A bit of walking is required from the stations but it's very straightforward. All doors at the hotel have pin pads, very convenient. We arrived quite late and one of the pins we received didn't work, but the hotel did provide an emergency number and they answered immediately, came over and sorted the pin for us. The room is in Japanese style and very quiet, the beds were quite comfortable too. We were really happy with our stay.

Location was very easy to get around from, and checkin was pretty seamless. The duvets were so warm and fluffy, we had a great sleep there! It was a bit cold (we were there in February) in the kitchenette/ toilet areas but nice and warm in the sleeping area which is what counts. Staff were very nice and helpful, and let us store our bags while we walked around a bit after check out. We were really happy to find this one available and for cheaper than the run of the mill business hotels!

Great location in downtown Osaka (Minami side), in a quiet part of the neighborhood just a stone's throw from Dohtonbori and very near the bus and train stations. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, with elevator access (great for travellers with large luggage). Staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in two separate buildings a few doors from each other, so be sure to mind the sign telling you which building the reception desk is found. Great value for money, highly recommended.

No microwave in the room and the lobby staff do not have one either--a bit inconvenient if you need to heat up food from the nearby konbini stores.

Really loved this place to stay in Osaka - plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers - really spacious bedrooms with a traditional touch - i.e. tatami mat rooms. Bathroom was great with bath, separate toilet was great. Easy to walk to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi area and a couple of different metro lines. Close to convenience stores, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Some basic items in the kitchen would have been handy - some mugs, some cutlery, a microwave.
