The hotel itself is gorgeous - hip, trendy atmosphere, but also family/tourist/business friendly. I loved that you could get extra amenities downstairs like water bottles, toothbrushes etc if you ran out in your room. I like the way the bathroom is arranged. I lost an item and the staff went above & beyond in trying to help us find it & communicating with us about it. Breakfast was awesome -- try their omelet!

When you key in to open the door, the entire room lights up. This is really irritating if someone is already sleeping in the room. My husband/2 year old were sleeping and I was lucky that the toddler did not wake up especially with jetlag. Hotel rooms in general are small in Japan and considering that I thought our room was great. I would recommend that the hotel put up more hooks like in the room for people to hang up items. There's almost no space to store anything besides the walkway closet.

Ive stayed in almost every hotel surrounding ALoft Ginza and its a top contender in the area. The bed was very spacious and comfortable. Hotels in Japan often only have semi double beds which is not very big by western standards. The room is also separated in two sections so everything for relaxing or sleeping is out of view from the shower/toilet section. The toilet is also in its own room. If you've ever stayed at a business hotel that has a unit bath then you'll understand why separated toilets are ideal. 12 o'clock check-out is also very nice. Location is also great. Short walk to ginza line or even closer higashi ginza station on the hibiya line. Ginza line is good for transfers to many tourist locations.

The room was a savvy king and it looked a little more spacious in the preview picture. This is a very small nitpick because it was plenty spacious. One other thing is the tv was at a very awkward angle and wouldnt connect to netflix. Not sure if it was just my room or if any of the tvs allow streaming logins. I've stayed at ALoft in other cities for business trips and the ginza location is the smallest but still very nice.

The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk from the train/subway station. There was also a helpful section at the reception where you could grab things you had forgotten like water, slippers, pajamas etc. The rooftop was also a really nice place to sit and relax, even if it was a bit cold. We really enjoyed how close it was to convenience stores and restaurants as well. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel in Tokyo which is nearby other cities.

The staff was helpful. Don't forget to check out the roof top garden, I danced there freely with no one around. It's a good memory to have when I got a chance to dance in Tokyo. Breakfast was really good with lots of varieties. I was there mainly for shopping so the location is good.

Calling local line got charged so if you ever need to use the room phone to call local number, just go to reception to ask them to do it for you. I was not informed about the charge and fee for calling local number so I was a bit disappointed, Wish there was socket near the night stand so that my phone was near me when charging.

Perfect location in the heart of Ginza, close to shops, restaurants and public transportation new hotel with fresh design and furniture we booked 2 adjusting rooms for a family of 4 - perfect decision for families with teenagers, size of the rooms is bigger than in most of the hotels in Tokyo. The personnel is friendly and always ready to help. European breakfasts with some asian dishes, fresh juices, fresh fruits Clean rooms with everyday room cleaning, changing towels and bed linens. There is steam iron, hair drier in the room - everything small, compact, but perfect for use

The location was perfectly located for shops, restaurants and the Tokyo Marathon finish line. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. As I vegan I was well fed. The staff was warm and welcoming and very accommodating. They were professional and efficient. Make sure you visit the lobby bar when you visit.

I can’t say there was much if anything I didn’t like. If I had to say one thing it would be the room was a bit tight but still comfortable.

The hotel is located at Ginza 6. Surrounded with so many shopping places. Asakusa line tat Higashi-Ginza station is just step away. The bed is so comfy and homey - like it a lot.

The lift is too dark for us - suggest to make it brighter a bit. The breakfast has quite some variety but need to improve the delicious level. - Coffee machine is not working well.

Location was great. Cool funky hotel. Restaurant was excellent. Manami the waitress deserves a shout out! She is phenomenal!!

The only two negatives. 1. I could feel the train vibrating through my pillow. I think a higher floor would have helped. The layout of the room is a bit odd but it didn’t negatively affect my experience.

We really like the aesthetic of the hotel design. It is newer and has this retro modern design. The room is well layout, we like the bathroom a lot as it is roomy and clean. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to all the major shopping in Ginza. If you need to travel to other parts of Tokyo, it is about a 5-mins walk to the nearest Metro station, but about 15-20 mins walk to the Tokyo JR train station. Breakfast was abundant, include both Western and Asian cuisines.

Great location and attractive interiors

Staff are mostly non-Japanese and not that friendly. Male receptionist would not allow more than one hour late checkout and whilst this could be hotel policy, he was very gruff about it. Also rooms are nicely designed as expected from this brand but you lose out on the authentic Japanese feel like you could be anywhere else. If you're a smoker be warned there is no smoking room in the property.. The roof dogs place is very small with highly priced and very average American style hot dogs
