The location of this hotel is perfect. I’ve been to Japan 4 times and stayed in different locations and prefer this location over anywhere else. Being so close to the Skytree is amazing and if you use the trains it’s very easy to get around. It’s in a nice quiet location, so you can go from the hustle of the tourist spots during the day to here at night. Staff are so helpful, beds are very comfortable and rooms are a good size for a Japanese hotel. Absolutely no complaints.

I am particularly grateful for the outstanding service demonstrated by the staff. One of the most commendable incidents occurred when I inadvertently left behind a valuable item. To my immense relief and gratitude, the hotel's diligent staffimmediately contact me, truly embodying the spirit of honesty and integrity. This small yet significant act of kindness left a lasting impression and underscores the high level of professionalism and care that this hotel upholds.

Excellent location. Right on top of Oshiage station with trains direct from and to Narita and Haneda. Right next to the SkyTree, a shopping mall, a supermarket, convenience stores, restaurants and a Kura Sushi in the same building as the hotel (unfortunately, I didn't like Kura Sushi) If you're coming from either airport take exit B3 as that exit has an elevator. During your stay take exit B3 if you're coming off of the Hanzomon line, do NOT take exit A1 if you're getting off the Hanzomon line. If you're coming off of the Asakusa line there are two ways to get to exit A1, the best way is to go to the very end of the platform and go down the stairs. If you go down the stairs in the middle of the platform you might as well take exit B3. The hotel was clean but the room was tiny, which I didn't mind as I was traveling solo and tiny rooms are normal in Japan. The breakfast buffet was ¥1500 (about $11 when I was there) and had a limited selection but was pretty good. When you first arrive in the room you have to use the television to select a "cleaning plan", the options were 1) Normal, 2) Ecology and 3) None. Unfortunately the instructions are all in Japanese so I used google translate on my phone to figure it out. I choose #2 which means they will give you new towels and take out trash. They will also do a normal cleaning every 3 days that you are there. I used to stay right across the street in the Richmond Premier hotel, but for some reason that hotel is now more expensive than it used to be, the Keisei Richmond Hotel at Oshiage is now my go to hotel when I travel to Tokyo.

The staff could learn just a little more english, although they did have some sort of translating device (similar to Google translate on your phone) that worked very well.

I liked many things about this hotel: cleanliness, nice fresh food at breakfast buffet, polite staff. What I especially liked was: Comfort - the room was not too small like in other hotels. Besides the bed, there was a small sofa and a table. There was also a kettle for tea. The bath and toilet were fully functional, no issues at all. Location - it's a very convenient place for transport and shopping. The subway entrance is a few steps away from the hotel entrance, and there's also express bus stop near it. Also you can find a shopping center, Skytree tower and a supermarket right by the hotel. Views - we had an amazing view of Skytree tower, especially beautiful at night. The view from the breakfast buffet hall was great as well, and there's also a rooftop terrace with an overview of the city.

I can't recall anything significant that bothered us during our stay. Overall, it's a very well-kept hotel.

Great location! Right across from Skytree which means perfect for shopping and catching trains/bus to Disneyland and DisneySea. We were a family of 4 (2xadults, 11yo, 7yo). We pushed the bed together and it fit us all comfortably, in fact the bed was very comfortable and not as hard as most of the beds in Japan. The room was cosy with luggage but we made it work. We were able to have our luggage sent to the hotel from another hotel with Yamato and then on our last day we used airporter to send a couple of suitcases direct to Narita airport for same day delivery and the hotel stored another suitcase for us while we explored for the day. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

We really liked this property!

The location is superb. The Oshiage Gate A1 is just a few steps away from the hotel. You can reach Oshiage from Narita or Haneda airports directly The Skytree mega mall is 2 minutes away. The Skytree is within a 5-minute walk. You can enjoy the Skytree light show every night. A river is nearby and I did walk along the bank every morning to breathe the fresh air and enjoy the blue sky. There is a Kura sushi branch at G/F. Life supermarket is cross the road . Oshiage is on the east side of Tokyo which means you can visit Ueno, Tokyo station, Ginza, Tsukiji seafood market, within 30 minutes by subway. Shinjuku is just 40 minutes traveling by subway. The hotel room is spacious (in Tokyo standard). The mattress is firm and suits my personal preference. One excellent feature is you may cast your smartphone on the TV - the only hotel that avails this cast feature (I stayed at 5 hotels on this trip). Free microwave and coin-operated washing machine & dryer are available. I stayed 3 nights and will definitely pick this hotel on my next Tokyo visit.

I don't have anything in mind. Before reaching this hotel, I worried about noise as my room is facing the open rails nearby (within 50 meters). Trains are traveling on these rails but the sound is acceptable. The windows sound-proof well - another LIKE indeed.

Our room was very clean and comfortable (although small). Bed and pillows very comfortable, the shower and bathroom were excellent. The selection of personal care bathroom products was very good. Easy to pick up what you needed each day from reception area. The pyjamas were a welcome surprise, very comfortable. The location was great, close to shops, subway, bus and taxis. There was a large supermarket on the corner and being opposite the Skytree meant endless choice of restaurants/food. Our Comfort Double room had a view of the Skytree which was lovely to look out at after dark. There staff were helpful, we used luggage transfer service to and from this hotel without any problem (highly recommend rather than struggling with suitcases at train stations).

Direct and close view to the beautiful Tokyo Skytree Tower from our hotel room. A terrace was available to better view the tower. Quick and easy access to the subway, shopping center, and a supermarket. Easy access to Narita International Airport via direct train line, as well as two subway lines. Hotel was next to an accessible subway/train station for carrying large luggage as elevators were available. Staff were helpful and willing to provide luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. I think this hotel is located most conveniently in Tokyo, especially for those with plentiful of luggage.

Our stay at the Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Oshiage was great overall. Staff at the front desk was exceptional for check-in, checkout, and holding our bags. The location is super and could not be better next to the Skytree, Solamachi, with convenience stores and supermarket nearby. Facilities were clean and amazing as well. The value of the hotel nightly rate was also great.

The only issue we had was that the bathroom had a strong odor that smelled like urine possibly, more of a stale smell, but this was minor.

Location was very near the metro station, which was great! Room was big and spacious too! I could see Sky Tree from my room too, which was cool. Good location if you want to set up your base near Sky Tree.

I felt that the pillows were a bit flat, but that was my personal preference. I had a bit of difficulty with the TV as well (as we had to choose the cleaning options from the TV), but maybe that was just me. Haha. If you want to shop a lot in Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Harajuku though, please note that this hotel is 40 minutes away by metro.
