The location and staff were super friendly and helpful. Spacious for 4 adults and very clean. Bonus having a coin laundry on the 2nd floor and only Y300 which includes detergent added. A 7-11 convenience store downstairs, near the entrance which was great! About a 20 min. walk to the Tokyo Station.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, making it convenient to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any needs. The hotel has a warm and comfortable atmosphere, making it very suitable for families. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We have stayed at this place twice, each time for over two weeks, and overall, we had a great experience. The location is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a great choice for families. However, we have two important suggestions: 1. The small stool in the bathroom has sharp edges, which can be dangerous for kids and also uncomfortable to sit on. A rounded plastic stool would be a much safer and more comfortable option. 2. The showerhead is quite heavy, making it less convenient to use. Other than these concerns, everything else was fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others!

Lovely room, spacious and well set up for a family. A combini downstairs which was great, we also ordered Uber Eats which was easy. Staff excellent - gave us tips on food to try in the area, and very thorough with the information about amenities which was appreciated as we didn’t get this at MIMARU in Kyoto.

Only a slight negative was the location - it was nice and quiet and easy to get around with station very close, but not many food places nearby on the weekend as it is in an office area. Fine for us as only there two nights, but if you stayed longer it may be an issue if you want to eat close by.

The MIMARU Tokyo Station East hotel is a very clean, modern apartment hotel near Tokyo Station East. We stayed one night at the sister location Mimaru Hachabori which had a much more spacious room. The suite at Tokyo Station was still nice-- though everything very compact. There was a twin bunk bed for our two kids and a separate room with two twin beds for us adults. Everything was very clean. We didn't end up cooking but stored some fruit and yogurt in the little kitchen. The kitchenette was well stocked with dishes, plates, and utensils as well as pots and pans. I enjoyed having a tea pot for tea and coffee in the morning.

The space was a bit tight for Western standards.

We stayed here 2 rounds where in between our 2 week visit to Japan we were away for a few days for Fujiyoshida. 1. Place was v well maintained and clean! 2. We had washer dryer in apartment and sometimes used machines in the laundry when we had a bigger load. Both the washing machines and dryers were AWESOME. You load, put in the coins and it’s done. Don’t have to figure out what to do like worry abt instructions in Japanese. I especially loved the dryers. 40mins (every 100yen for 20mins) dried everything evenly. 3. Staff were v well trained. Explained everything so clearly. 4. We especially appreciated that they asked how many of something you needed so as not to waste. Eg how many packs of cotton buds or tooth brushes etc do you need. They don’t assume and give u just based on number of people staying 5. Very convenient with 7-11 downstairs and pharmacy next door!

There are many many MIMARU properties all over Tokyo, but I don’t think they nec have same set up of the various configurations as the one we stayed at MIMARU Tokyo Station East. For example I was specific to look for one w washer dryer in the apartment which was only available in the suite category. By filter on booking.com I don’t believe other MIMARU properties came up. So this isn’t an issue with this location we stayed, just a general feedback re the chain. The place felt safe but it really is a business district so got quiet at night. Good with 7-11 downstairs so always lit and have people around

We (4 adults & 4 children) booked the City View Two-Bedroom Family Suite With Mini Dining & the room size were perfect for us (comparing to other hotels in Japan which are generally smaller). Prior to our stay, we had a great experience communicating with the staff (from arranging a baby cot & shower tub for our little toddler to creating a birthday surprise for our 9 years old). We stayed for 9 days & they explained very clearly to us that housekeeping will not be done everyday however we are allow to cook in the apartment. We are only a few minute to Hatchobori station, 1 stop from Ginza & only 5 stops away from Disney. It took us only 15 minutes to walk to Tokyo Station (where the Character Street are). There are a few convenience store around the hotel (7-Eleven @ level 1 of the hotel, Lawson & Family Mart). Also there's a few breakfast place around the hotel (Royal Host, Denny's Yoshinoya & Doutor for takeaway). For long stay and especially with kids, the washing machine/dryer in the room helps to ease our headache.

Although I don't really need it but ideally it would be great to have an iron in the room since the washer and dryer is also inside the room. It would be nice to have also more TV channel other then Japanese channels.

Location was easy access to train stations and within reasonable distance to Haneda airport. Walking distance to some of the areas we wanted to visit (i.e. Tsukiji, Ginza). Room had everything we needed and especially appreciated the 2 bathrooms and in room washing machine. The kitchen and living room areas were also great to have which allowed us to just have more space to spread out. Everything was clean and staff were helpful and friendly.

The beds were extremely hard and made for difficult sleeping and sore bodies in the morning.

Everything about this place just amazes me, nice, clean and everything in the hotel were just right. The hotel is very close to Metro Station and convenient stores (7-11, Lawson and Family Mart) are just beside the hotel. Room is spacious, bed is super comfortable, bathroom is well equipped and spacious as well. Definitely looking forward for a revisit the next time I'm in Tokyo !

The only thing I have to complain about is the pillow, too soft and really not my type. A perfect 5 stars for the hotel if they provided some pillow options to choose from.

Mimaru Tokyo Station East was very conveniently located - a short cab ride from Tokyo Station when coming from the airport and to the Shinkansen. It was a very short walk to the trains to get around the whole city, including being on a direct line to Disneyland. There were many convenience stores, restaurants and a great bakery within a few minutes walk- a 7/11 was right at the entrance to the hotel. The room was impeccably clean. It was just what we needed to base ourselves for Tokyo sightseeing. The kitchenette was very good for simple meals. Having a separate bedroom was great for our family of 4 - a space for parents to retreat once our two children had gone to bed in the bunks off the living space. The storage space was very useful. Staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
