An outstanding, friendly and comfortable hotel. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them - recommending and booking restaurants, changing the restaurant time when our plane was late, arranging taxis and events for us. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. The hotel wasn’t directly in the middle of the centre but only a 20minute walk away and in a quiet, safe and green area with plenty of interesting things to see. We preferred that and really enjoyed combing back and having a drink in the cosy bar area by the fire.

I’m from Israel and came to Amsterdam for a football match. On the second night, a violent attack by a small group of locals targeted Jewish and Israeli visitors. Following this, the Israeli government instructed us to leave the Netherlands immediately. Despite the situation, the hotel staff were amazing. They quickly recognized our distress, offered us a complimentary breakfast, and refunded us for the nights we couldn’t stay, even though our booking didn’t allow for cancellation. Their professionalism and kindness during such a difficult time were truly appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring Amsterdam on foot as well as public transport nearby. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. Tea and coffee was topped up each day. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and also spacious. We had breakfast one morning for which there was plenty of choice. I fully recommend this excellent hotel.

Room was large, clean, well equipped, hotel staff were happy to help and it was in a really quiet location, we didn't hear a single noise at night, and the blackout curtains were excellent!

If I were to be reaaaaaaaally picky, it wasn't as close to the centre as we would have liked, but that was probably good as it was so quiet

The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was really nice with lots of options. The location was pretty good but have to walk a bit to the metro/trolly. Not so good during winter.

I wish the bathroom had a bathtub.

The hotel was clean and attractive, and the guest services were exceptional, as was the dining area. The location was terrific and the hotel staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and heard.

Can't think of anything... except that the taxi driver that took us from the train station to the hotel charged us too much and only took cash. Scam, sadly, but this has nothing to do with the hotel.

I like the Lobby and warmth welcome from the Hotel Staff.Honestly speaking I just had a random pick of a hotel thru Booking.com.I and my friends were very satisfied of our 1 night stay.

What I didn't like was before we check-out (around 10am) someone knock on our door,thinking that we've already check-out. Furthermore we were having a breakfast and as I came back upstairs (11am)our room has been locked up.I thought check-out time is 30 mins before 12 noon.

I didn’t like the TV , it was the most annoying TV I have ever tried to view , also really lacked U.K. stations , quite a few other nationalities but very bad reception kept cracking up
