A marvellous host, unobtrusive but always ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean, had a small private sauna, a dinner table and a little kitchen. Breakfast is brought to the room at the time of your choice—and it was excellent: anything you could wish for, was there. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet. On the other hand, it also means there is nothing much around it in terms of cafés or the like. Still, the hotel is just a couple of minutes on foot from the busier streets, so you actually have the best of both worlds.

- Absolutely gorgeous room and interior design - The bathroom came with a sauna unit! - Very good breakfast (which comes with fresh rolls from a bakery) - Very good location, meaning you can walk there from central station and visit many thanks thence on foot

- Through a slight miscommunication my breakfast arrived a little late the first morning, meaning I had to wolf it down before setting off for work. But that was immediately rectified the next day, so no complaints otherwise.

We came to Amsterdam for a weekend to explore and eat out. I chose this place because of it’s location and warming photos. It did well in everything, we liked the deco and the owner was super friendly. The area is quiet also which is a big plus if you want to rest. The breakfast was also really tasty. It’s perfect walking distance to everything you could want, it’s ideal.

The location was very good for my purposes as I had to meet colleagues in the town center. Unfortunately, I was collected very early ( 05:30 ) the following morning to be driven to Hoogeveen for a business meeting, so was unable to sample the breakfast . Perhaps next time !

As the weather was very cold , I would have liked the room to be a little warmer , but not a major problem, the bed was warm and comfortable

The room was spacious, the sauna was great and the host was marvelous. She provided us with all the information needed, we enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was served in the room and she made an effort to provide us with the food which we eat due to intolerances. There is also a small kitchenette and the Nespresso coffee machine.

Some cutlery in the room would help.

Everything was excellent! The host Esther was exceptional, really friendly and brought a huge breakfast every morning. On the first day she also recommended us a great spot by the water where the locals seem to hang out for a drink and the occasional swim. It’s these kind of touches that can make a holiday, after an early start travelling this was an ideal afternoon for us to relax before heading out for the evening. The location for us couldn’t have been better, 10-15 min walk from most of the main tourist bits yet the street is remarkably quiet and set back from the hustle and bustle. Also plenty of good cocktail bars, craft beer joints and cafes nearby. The room was spotless, bed comfy, plenty of towels, good coffee and tea making facilities, a bonus sauna in the bathroom is a quirky touch (we didn’t use it unfortunately because it was rather warm during our stay!) and there’s also a good-sized desk and plenty of plug points in the room.

The only possible thing we can think of is that we would have preferred a more powerful fan in the room. But the fan we had worked fine and there was also an air purifier which helped to keep the room cool-ish. Certainly not a dealbreaker, we’d definitely stay again!

Great breakfast & location

Host didn't provide any initial instructions on how to use shower or TV, & seemed disorganised. But overall it was a good place once I worked how to operate things.

The apartment was fabulous - great location, cosy and quirky set in a great neighbourhood that was relatively quiet and hidden from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Esther was a wonderful host, gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and provided us with incredible breakfasts that fuelled us pretty much for the entire day! We will definitely return to stay here when we're next in Amsterdam. Thank you Esther for your wonderful hospitality.

The location was perfect - easy walk to train station and most everywhere I needed to go. Room was spacious. Breakfast delivered every day was fantastic! Host was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this property.

Arriving was somewhat confusing. The address to check in is the business, but the physical address of the B&B is around the corner at another address.

Everything was fantastic - walking distance to lots of sights and restaurants, spacious room, the sauna was fantastic, and a big tray of assorted breakfast goodies. If ever in Amsterdam again, we would definitely book the same place.
