The hotel is beautiful and convenient to the train station. The room was large. We requested a quiet room and we definitely got one. The room was very very quiet. The welcome G&T was wonderful!

I had booked the room based on the picture of the bathroom (it had 2 sinks). We did not receive that room and were told that only one room in our room category had 2 sinks. This should be better explained on Booking.com.

The hotel was lovely, it had such character. The location was great being so close to the train station but with lovely views and was quiet in the evening. Breakfast was equally good with something to chose from the menu.

I was expecting a different room to the one received. There was no information on the room description saying we may receive a different one. I chose the room purely on the photos. On my booking information it said we would get the lift followed by a steep staircase to the room. We didn't need the staircase so assume we were put in a different room, which wasn't what I was expecting.

Loved our stay. This was actually my second time at this hotel, which I booked after a previous wonderful stay with my sister. Wonderful location near Central Station- you can get anywhere in the city easily within minutes, but the location manages to stay peaceful and quiet. Beds are super comfortable and the shower is out of this world. All three nights of our stay we traded a late night out for showers and robes at the Hendricks. Daily housekeeping is a huge perk. I've stayed in many hotels post covid and NONE of them still provide daily housekeeping. I can't say how great it is to come back to fresh bedding and towels after a long day in the city. They replenish the coffee and tea, as well as the bath products. Cute interior and they offer a welcome drink. Hendricks will be the place I stay any time I find myself in Amsterdam. They even offer a free welcome drink in the beautiful lounge. Absolutely love this place.

The hotel was in the perfect location, just a short walk from the main train station and easy to get to all of the attractions on foot or you can rent a bike from the hotel easily. A welcome drink is included, which you can redeem at any point throughout your stay. The drinks in the mini fridge are a reasonable price, we found to be much cheaper than the local shop. Great room styling and the rooms were huge.

There is a £100 refundable deposit that you pay upfront on arrival, but you get it back quickly at the end of your stay & we found that this is a requirement at most hotels in Amsterdam.

Quiet location with good noise insulation within walking distance to the Central station. Not far to walk to the restaurants and cafes in the square. Large comfortable bed in a spacious room. Minibar and foyer bar very reasonable prices for a hotel.

Could do with providing instructions how to use the in room coffee machine. Not keen on having to book a time slot for breakfast. Limited self service continental choices and no pastries only croissants. The same offerings every day became somewhat repetitive after a five night stay. Foyer bar closes at 11:00pm. At £300 pounds a night expected a little more in terms of comfort, facilities and breakfast.

The room and hotel were lovely. We were given a welcome drink voucher each on arrival to use at the bar, which was a lovely and unexpected touch and there were quality board games on offer gave a nice cosy feel to the lounge area. The quality of everything within the hotel and the room was of a high standard and beautifully designed. Complimentary teas, coffees and hot chocolate were available throughout our stay. We added the birthday package to our stay which included two slices of cake, a rituals gift set, a traditional Dutch fridge magnet, a small box of gourmet chocolates and several balloons. We were hugely impressed with the quality, design and attention to detail of this family run boutique hotel. It was also incredibly well located for Centraal station, Dam Square and all the attractions.

The staff are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. It really meant a lot having their assistance in organizing the taxi from and to the airport. The hotel itself is beautiful and impeccably clean. Our room exceeded all expectations with wonderful, large, comfortable beds. Importantly, the hotel is located at walking distance from many of the city's attractions, for a short stay (such as ours), this paired with the staffs knowledge of the city greatly helped us on our short adventure exploring the city. Definitely would recommend it, and I'm looking forward to staying here again! 😊

Wonderful, peaceful hotel with spacious, comfortable room. It was an ideal location to walk many places. Lots of restaurants nearby. Had great cocktails and wine in the first floor seating area that was comfortable and cozy.

The breakfast was not included, but we did not find that fact out until after the first morning. The lady waiting on us insisted it was included, so we ate a very small amount of food. As we were heading out for the day after the small breakfast, we were informed that the breakfast was not included after all! $20 euros each for a very basic breakfast was an outrageous cost. We did not have breakfast there again but instead found excellent, gourmet breakfast places nearby for the same price. Traveling anywhere in Europe the breakfast is usually included, so this was a surprise and disappointing. All else about the hotel was great.

The location was absolutely fantastic! It offered easy access to various attractions and amenities, making our stay enjoyable. The staff greeted us warmly during check-in, which set a positive tone for our visit. However, we noticed a shift in attitude from the staff on our last day, as they weren't as friendly or attentive. This contrast left us feeling a bit disappointed, especially after such a positive start to our experience. Overall, it was a good stay, but a consistent level of friendliness throughout would have made it even better.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but there were a couple of aspects we believed could be improved. While we anticipated that the room would be on the smaller side and it met our expectations in that regard, we felt that consistency in staff friendliness could significantly enhance the experience. If all team members were trained to maintain a uniformly welcoming and friendly attitude, it would have made our stay even more pleasant and memorable.

We had a top floor room with water view. Nice size room and nicely decorated. Enjoyed the welcome drink and lobby area. Staff were quite helpful with any of our questions. Nice quiet location and easily walkable to all sites and train station. Large rainfall shower. Comfortable bed. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Little strange to have toilet in one room and need to walk across the hallway to wash hands in another room, but it was fine.
