Swim pool

Lots of things We were given a blocked shower under repair but the plumber didn't tell the reception. There was a minor flood. The next room also still had a plumbers deal over the shower drain until I removed it to not have to move from a furnished rooms m to a third one Pathetic supe vision Secondly whoever placed.the communal washing bowl in the middle of a small Ron has rocks in their head Back design and I shan't stay in such an inconvenient configuration again. Thirdly the extra money paid for the breakfast was not worth it. No wholemeal bread for toasting. Fried ham instead of real bacon, no variety of eggs fried or boiled Location was far walk to tube station and only the good bus intersection was a plus.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely, the room had everything you need for a short stay, the breakfast was great. The laundry room was really useful. There are lots of restaurants, shops and other services at a walking distance from the hotel. The park next to it is lovely.

The mall that the hotel is part of was deserted, dark and a bit spooky. Finding the hotel entrence when I arrived by foot from the train station in the evening wasn't easy as it is behind the deserted mall.

The Staff was really helpful and the services were good value for money. Overall it was a very good stay. Hotel was as advertised and facilities were good.

I cannot really say i did not like any particular aspect.

Did not use the hotel restaurant. There's food eatery around the hotel. The front desk lady Kayla Pelaez, was very nice and courteous. She's very helpful when I asked about Singapore. She told me where and how to tour the city. Makes my life easy and my time looking around. The household are quick when requesting to change my beddings. The running water is ok and drinkable as per front desk. They easily call a cab for me. I also like your rain shower.

When I arrived no doorman around to help my luggage. No bell hop to take my baggage to my room. The room was compact and the washroom was small, and need extra lights.

Apart from what I have written below, this the hotel is very good, the staff generally are nice, clean and have great views of Singapore. The pool areas are beautiful and this is where breakfast can be taken. I would stay here again.

My room was over 28 degree C as the air-conditioning was not turned on. When I asked reception for a cooled rooms they were most unhelpful but finally agreed, unfortunately the room access card would not open the door, they had given me the card for my old room suggestion that they had given me the correct card and that I had not used it correctly. Well!! 2 of their staff could not make it work and I said so and that I was most unhappy. Finally the manger got involved, he was very good, deescalated the situation made everything right and I thanked him for his help. He was kind enough to send a lovely fruit platter to my room. Apart from this the hotel is very good, the staff generally are nice. The pool areas are beautiful and this is where breakfast can be taken.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and attended to requests or problems at remarkable speed. Reception staff Emma and housekeeping a big Thank you. Sufficient choice of Hawkers close by and a small shopping centre 15 minute walk or short bus ride away. MRT is a bit far but plenty of comfortable air conditioned buses close by. Loved the low rise buildings around the hotel providing for natural light and tranquillity. Mattress was very comfortable. My pillow was too high but was replaced as soon as I mentioned it to reception. Hotel was very clean. Bathroom spacious clean and well maintained. Pool area was so relaxing and well maintained. Would stay again.

Room was a bit tight. Bulky couch and desk could be replaced by a chair and small table/desk. No other negative.

It was well located for us Mrt ( tube) Macpherson was 20 mins Then the Taiseng Mrt 30 mins .If you take a bus 8 or 90 opposite the hotel it takes you to Toa Payoh Mrt and a big shopping mall and restaurants at the bus terminus . Food stalls a variety of choice ( Indian , Chinese , Muslim and others ) was directly behind hotel 10 mins walk . If you walk by the front pass petrol garage there are alot of restaurants and hawkers stalls within 1/2 a mile The room had a safe ,fridge and hairdryer Room was compact with reasonable amount of charging points They have small swim pool which was well kept ,supplied with towels also had toilets to change and resturant too which was hotels main resturant . Had a variety of food , I tried satay (barbecued meat on a stick) was very nice and I think pricing was reasonable for a hotel . They have friendly admin staff who you book with are very helpful and try and oblige with your request . I had Jam and Wendy .I wanted 3 rooms side by side as connecting rooms were gone . Price was also reasonable .Around hotel is quiet but the hotel itself was very busy . They were helpful in storing our bags till check out time . Water is free you fill your bottle at the resturant counter No bottles in room. Room was clean very presentable everything we needed worked, esp shower .Hotel is a reasonable distance from city but as transport facilities was very good no problem There is a bus that comes and takes you to the nearest transport but I am told only at midday. There are at least 3 ATM around the hotel I think one of them changes foreign currency Front if hotel there is a small sitting area for smokers I think .

Sadly no porters or bell boy we had 10 bags among 6 of us ,was given a trolley to push ourselves . The fridge wasn’t cold but we never sorted that ,was too busy going out and coming back late . No wardrobes sadly .Room small but had everything Our rooms was next to pool sadly the door was permanently locked so we had to go all around .Waiting area infront of desk too small if a crowd of 6 land together no seats to sit .The only toilet I think was swim pool toilet which was used for changing so if you were desperate and had already checked out that would be a problem

price too high. I was a member of ALL. I did not get my points since I went through Booking .com

Place is good

Really doesn’t like inside the room sink fixed not in the bathroom. From the shower water comes to the room have to pay attention. That’s not right situation for the guest. Restaurant staff and the reception staff are really good. Breakfast is hopeless. For English people nothing to eat all cooked breakfast mostly cooked for the Asians. Everyday we had toast and butter. Jam bottles are open and birds come and eat it. That’s not good for hygiene

Good location. Some reviews say it's far from metro: its less then a 10min walk to Matar

Shaving cream tube was empty. Room is a little smaller than usual 3 star hotel rooms
