Lovely hotel, great facilities. The gym overlooking pool and skyscrapers was beautiful. Main pool great too. Close to night market and malls and other shops, good location.

We booked a family room through booking .com said suitable for 2 adults 2children but only king size bed and single bed. Room was spacious but then beds were a bit cramped. Reception recommended a different room but we would have had to pay more!! Wouldn’t have booked this option if it hadn’t said suitable on booking.com. We were in main tower -great size room but a little dated.

We had the triple room and it was very comfortable and huge. The breakfast was well appointed and delicious. It s best included when you book.

From the airport, it s a few min to the ratchaprarop station. Unfortunately, there s no escalator going down so you need to maneuver your luggages through a long flight of stairs. From this station, its a 10 -15 min walk to Berkeley along a pathway narrowed by peddlers. To get to the different tourist spots and malls using BTS, the better station is the Chitlom station which is a long walk ( about 15-20 min) from Berkeley. However, if you re just planning to go shopping at the platinum mall and the big C, you can simply walk to reach them. I guess it is better to choose a hotel very near the chitlom station if you want to go around using the BTS. For us, we mostly used grab taxi, got trapped in traffic a few times but we were spared from the long walk to either of the 2 stations.

The location is great and next to many of the big malls. The room was massive and very clean. It’s connected to a mall and there is a currency exchange which is very convenient. The restaurant in the main lobby is delicious. The hotel offers a lot of amenities. The staff is so kind and helpful! This hotel is really big and hosts many events so be aware that it’s very busy all the time

The beds weren’t comfortable, the lobby had a humid smell. And we stayed in the tower that required two elevators which took a lot of time sometimes.

The Berkeley Loved my stay at the Berkeley. A solo traveller, I stayed here for seven nights up on the 25th floor of the main tower. The view was amazing. I had booked another room in the north tower but chose to upgrade when I arrived at the hotel. Definitely worth the upgrade! The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of choices- Japanese, Indian, fruit, bacon & eggs etc.. Plenty of tables. My room was lovely- with a wonderful sized shower & bath. The bed was super comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. Be prepared, the six lifts are often super busy due to the sheer number of guests staying in the hotel. There are over 700 rooms! The pool area is gorgeous & well-maintained. Plenty of pool towels. The hotel is close to famous shopping malls you can easily walk to. They have great food courts. A big shout out to Chaco from the front desk who helped me out when the battery in the door in my room stopped working & I couldn’t access my room using the key card. It was late at night & Chaco was very helpful in getting the engineers to replace the battery. Overall, I loved my stay at the Berkeley & wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Berkeley again.

The hotel was great. It was in the most amazing location. The shopping arcade and market next to the hotel were so handy and we picked up a few bargains.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel as by looking at the photos on booking.com that it had a pool bar. After travelling for 5 weeks we wanted to have a relaxing few days poolside enjoying a few cocktails. Unfortunately on arrival we realised the pool bar was not longer in existence.

The location of this hotel was great for shopping/city-break as it was within walking distance of the cheap Pratunam night+food+street markets slightly to the northwest and also the cleaner/westernized malls such as Century World a little to the south through a raised walkway. There is also a giant Big C market nearby and the Siam area including the Aquarium and Madame Tussauds are also walkable in about 25-30 mins. The hotel is connected to the Palladium indoor market and night market and diagonally opposite the Platinum fashion mall and adjoining night food market (mostly halal). The BTS is a bit far but the hotel also provides a free shuttle around the nearby area that should put you a bit closer to the Siam station. Some major sites (Wat Pho, Wat Arun and Grand Palace) arnd Chinatown are within about 30-minute drive (depending on traffic). The Jodd Fair night market is about 3km/15 mins by tuk tuk away. The hotel itself is pretty good I'd place it somewhere at the lower end of 5-star hotels in terms of both price and polish. I understand it was just over 10 years old when we stayed and we thought it offered a good balance between price and quality/convenience. The family room we stayed in was pretty spacious and our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) didn't have much to complain about. For convenience, there is a 7-eleven, several cafes and western fast food joints adjoining the building. There was a great view from our 21st floor room.

The hotel is pretty massive and sometimes the wait for the lifts is slow. I thought the bars closed pretty early for a hotel. There are limited channels, particularly in English. The lighting in the rooms was a bit dark. But these are all very minor issues that I'm nit-picking and overall we were very happy with the stay.

Great location for shopping ! Very near to Platinum fashion mall, just a junction away (quite difficult to cross but it will be safe if u follow the crowd when crossing😜) Walking distance to Pratunam morn n night market! Shopping heaven! Walking distance to Central world! You can walk to Siam paragon but it will be a long walk, if you are healthy will be fine! If not, just use grab or bolt app! Fast and cheap. Avoid peak hours coz the jam will be bad. Outside platinum fashion mall, there will be a agency offer to Bangkok places of interests, prices are cheaper than booking online. I grab to mbk, many inspired branded products if you like it. I love the supersports shop. They sell original brand sport shoes! Not latest edition shoes, but prices are cheap! Hotel pool is great, cafe bar is huge and nice. Lobby is big and fast! Many staff to attend to you! 💪 Many lifts, fast. Housekeeping is great.

No soap dispenser near bathtub. My daughter used the glass to put soap to use and place at the bathtub, unfortunately she dropped and broke it coz it was slippery. Cost us 50 baht. 😅

breakfast spread was huge. the hotel is located barely 10mins walk from platinum shopping mall, which is good for us as we're avid shoppers who frequent that mall.

the shower was erratic as in the hotel water tends to reset itself if we turn off the water while soaping. also, the lifts were quite slow going up or down despite there having 6 lifts.

Had a fantastic stay with family. The location was very central, connected to all the major malls. BTS station is a 15 min walk or a shorter tuk tuk ride. The rooms are large and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast spread with an amazing variety of options. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel is modern and well-kept. Very accessible and near to important places to go in the area. Hailing a taxi or other transport is easy to and from the hotel because of its familiarity. The rooms are very spacious as well as the amenities in it. (Note that they provide glass containers for their water.) Which is nice. Their breakfast has a good amount of choices but some items can get repetitive but thankfully new options appear always to balance it. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel and the front desk has a free shuttle that can take you to places in the area such as MBK Center.

The mall next to the hotel does not have much stalls aside from the ground floor. One thing to note is that the Family Room has too much unused space that it feels empty at times but it did not affect our stay and it was an advantage for our situation but it might affect for others.
