If you're travelling by train, Moxy is your best choice for location in Amiens. It's so close to the train station they keep a departures screen in the lobby and you can choose to leave the hotel 20 minutes before your train departs if you want. It's also smack in the middle of the city centre, so if you're in Amiens for sightseeing, the main sights are within walking distance and you won't need to use public transportation at all. As for the hotel itself, it's above average for the three-star range: rooms are spacious, the beds are king size (though without extra pillows in the wardrobe) and very comfortable. Water pressure and temperature in the shower are good, and the room has plenty of sockets to charge and power your electronic devices. A cool contraption they have under the bed is a motion detector with a lamp. So if you wake up in the middle of the night for a trip to the bathroom, you don't need to grope in the darkness or fumble around for the light switch in an unfamiliar chamber: as soon as your feet touch the ground, a soft light goes on and you can walk around without issues. It goes off as soon as you stay motionless for a few seconds. Room darkness is pretty much total, by the way, very good for light sleepers. They offer the standard continental buffet for breakfast, including a bowl of fresh yoghurt, which for me is a must.

It's not a real complaint for me, but the room wasn't as quiet as one would expect. I didn't hear the lift or noise from the rooms next to mine or the corridor, but it's so close the train station I could hear the PA system announcements from the train station. I sleep like a log no matter where, but light sleepers might get distressed from hearing regular announcements till very late in the night. They do have quieter rooms that don't face the station directly, so make sure to request one if you need it.

We liked the location near city centre because quiet enough for a good night sleep. We missed a Nespresso machine and kettle to making a cup of tea. Amenities were fine, staff at check in very friendly and assisting but pillows rather poor. Bathroom had some hairs on the floor but otherwise clean. Soap and shampoo dispensers were faulty but this was fixed by housekeeping. Shower screen a little narrow so you won’t keep your bathroom floor dry. Rest all good and a recommended place to stay!

Rooms: typical modern large hotel with basics; not quite a 'Mars habitat', more like a large version of a cruise ship cabin. Its all there. Location: adjacent to Amiens station and excellent as a stopover base for train travel to Paris/Lille. Breakfast: could be better. Only scrambled eggs and sausages but at least it was not just croissants and bread.

Not much to criticise. It is a hotel aimed at young working people there for business. Amiens is not a tourist location. Simple improvements like a writing desk, comfortable chair, kettle, etc would give the rooms full marks.

Very nice hotel. Modern and clean. Bright and stylish. The breakfast is pretty good. A large and very cheap parking (9€ per day) is just around the corner.

The exact location just around the hotel is not totally nice: a bit industrial. That's not a great problem, since it takes literally 50-100m to get to "inhabited" places. Overall location is great because it takes 5-10 mins on foot to get to the city center. A little bit noisy outside, not critical though. The triple room is a bit small.

Breakfast was/is super good for its price. Moxy is a nice concept. Lot of value. The focus on having to play feels a bit dated, but it's all good. And what does 'dated' mean anyhow? Lets not get jaded/act blasé. For others it will be super surprising and fun. Most important is that the place feels friendly and hospitable, with spots where you can work, read, relax etc. That's an achievement.

Things can always be better. But lets get real. For the price the value is great.

Really friendly and helpful staff, and there's an outside area which is a suntrap for most of the day. Our standard room was spacious and had amazing views over the city. The area seems a bit underwhelming at first, but is so conveniently located for the train station, and getting into the city centre and the amazing Quai Belu. Excellent value for money too.

Not the most vibrant part of town but very conveniently located as stated above.

Very helpful staff, Ocean was very helpful with places to visit, best places to eat, markets & days out,full of information. Also always smiling & happy. She’s a Credit to the Hotel. Great location for train to Paris & local shops,bars & restaurants. Very clean. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very conveniently located next to Amiens station which really worked well. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel decor was trendy and contemporary. Breakfast was really good value for money

Unfortunately dinner was a disappointment as our order was literally microwaved I the oven behind the main reception counter - and it really tasted like a meal out of the freezer! Recommend eating out for dinner!

Located exactly where we need to be. Parking was easy and much cheaper than other parking garages we have used on our journey. The staff service was the most outstanding we have experienced in a long time - friendly, helpful, resolved issues quickly, outstanding teamwork!

Had 2x rooms during our stay but they had bathroom fitting issues. Staff responded very helpfully and resolved the issues quickly!

The vibe was so inviting, and the room layout was comfortable and made great use of space. Lovely modern bathroom, comfortable beds, and the breakfast was excellent. Terrific staff. I forgot a precious item, and they took the time to search and find. Just a great hotel. Also convenient location next to train station/and available parking Definitely would go back.

My only suggestion would be a couple of more pillows. But that's simply personal preference
