The château is a stunning and beautiful place maintained to a very high standard. My room was in the hunting lodge and was spacious and immaculately clean with everything you need. The shower was very good and the bed comfy. One thing I must mention was the hospitality we received in particular from Lorraine. She was so friendly and went to any lengths to help us. I would expect that level of hospitality from a business owner, which she is not. She is a true asset for the owners of this place. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly. Location is very close to airport and train station so taxi journey is inexpensive. It's a little further into Biarritz about 10 mins. There is lots of parking if you have a car and dogs were very welcome.

Pool area is great with a fabulous view of the mountains. But it could possibly be updated a little as the decking looks a little worn. Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely fine but not exceptional like the rest of the place. The pool is a good size and there is a bar there for drinks and food. A little more selection and fresh items at breakfast would be good. It was 20 euros but I think for that price my expectations were a bit higher. On the plus side the breakfast room and terrace provided a very special location for food and drinks at breakfast and throughout the day.

Pretty building close to Biarritz and good place to stop off. The restaurant was closed but we had a very nice light dinner served on the terrace.

The first room we had was in the hunting lodge. It is contemporary and not to our taste ( we are quite ancient..) and our sheets felt a bit damp probably as the hot weather had just broken. The hotel moved us to a lovely room in the main hotel which was very comfortable. No a.c but a very efficient and quiet fan which we preferred.

The hotel is in a beautiful Chateau in extensive grounds with a swimming pool. We stayed in the Hunting Lodge and had parking right outside the property. The staff were very friendly and answered all our queries about the room. The hotel is about 3.5 kms outside Biarritz, is very close to the motorway, and easy access to other resorts and the Spanish border. The hotel provides breakfast in the Chateau, a light lunch by the pool with a small dinner menu on the terrace. There are a number of restaurants close by.

Our room was very comfortable with a lovely patio. The bathroom facilities were a little small.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful Chateau to stay in... It is owned and run by the original owners great grandson. The interior is lovely and reflects it's heritage. Our room on ground floor was large and the attached bath was huge. Beautifully appointed. The bed was large and very comfy. The bath towels thick and soft. They provide robes and slippers. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The casual supper, on the terrace overlooking the fountain and grounds, was very tasty. Breakfast the next morning was delightful. NOT the same ole bread, butter and lunch meats. Ordered a cheese omelette and bacon-delish! They also had very nice pastries, granola, fresh fruit and jams. Coffee with cream. I could go on and on singing their praises but you need to see for yourself. Definitely come and stay here.

not one thing, except it was so nice we wanted to stay longer but sadly they were booked :´^(

The property is charming and very well kept. You get the feeling of staying in the period manor house but with all the modern conveniences. The brasserie restaurant onsite was delicious and all the staff was extremely attentive.

Wouldn't think of anything really. Our stay was just perfect. Maybe it would be nice for the back garden to have more plants/flowers.

A fabulous building/grounds and fabulous staff! Nice and close to the airport and a short can trip into town.

A littlw warm in the room, but that was minor. Only slight niggle was that I would have saved a lot of money (30%) if I’d booked the room in the week before our visit.

We really enjoyed the pool and the horses. The whole place feels really spacious.

A sauna for rainy days would have been nice. The garden was very nice and wholesome, but a bit more curating would not have been bad.

The pool wood surrounds need sanding as they left many splinters in kids feet. Breakfast was expensive for what it was

The concept (it's an authentic chateau). Great service and view. İt's excellent if you are looking for a quiet hotel and yet very close to the city center (by car)

You must know that there is no service in the reception or in the bar afrer 23.00 wich is not important for me. You can still stay in the porch of the castle or you can relax in your terrace if you stay in any lodge room.
