Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, renovated bathrooms, and beautiful breakfast area. Good choice of food in the morning. Very conveniently located (20 minutes walking distance from Biarritz centre and a few minutes away from the beach).

When you stay several nights, it would have been appreciated to change the cake flavour in the morning (it was always lemon cake). Also if you arrive 30mns prior the end of breakfast, some of the dishes are already gone and you always have to ask a waitress to fill up what is missing (that includes coffee cups and mugs or cutlery). Lack of proactivity.

Biarritz in summer is expensive so probably value for money is okay but seemed a little overpriced for an Ibis. Room is a little simple with not much to it. It says the room is 47m (or something like that) but I am not sure if the balcony is included in that computation as the room did not feel that big. Overall the room was nice enough and depending on whether is overpriced against alternatives I would recommend.

Renovated hotel and branded by Ibis Styles. Very fast check-in and check-out, no extra questions or comments but at the same time staff is always there and ready to help you. I got a comfort room and it was big enough, it had huge balcony with ocean view, comfy sofa and chair. Bed was nice. A/C worked well. Overall it was good. Breakfast was a little bit below expectations (previously I stayed at Ibis Styles at different location in France and it was much better there) but it is still an option as you'll get eggs, bread, cheese, ham, butter, jams, yogurt. The location of the hotel is right next to the ocean and with big parking and at the same time it's walking distance to the city center and restaurants (15-20 minutes to the center). Oh, and the restaurant at the hotel for dinners was amazing! Food was delicious, service was great.

Shower had mold in some places and was a little bit old fashioned. The breakfast room had sticky floor one day, very old tableware (seemed to be kept from previous hotel) and selection at the breakfast was quite limited. The tea at the breakfast was much better than coffee.

Great modern hotel rooms. We had a family room which was essentially a twin room inside a very large king room. Lots of space and lots of room to hang clothes etc. plus 2 balconies over looking the sea 😃. I unfortunately had a fall which ended up in a trip to A&E. Melissa one of the waitresses was beyond amazing. She booked a taxi for us to get to the hospital, calmed me down when I was overwhelmed and was there in the morning checking I was ok. She went above and beyond and I am very grateful for her support.

We had room 219 on the front of the hotel. The room was quite big with plenty of room to lay out our cases on the floor as we were only staying 3 nights. It had a small semi circular balcony with a view, which was nice, immaculately clean, freshly decorated and well appointed with crisp white bed linen, plenty of clothes hanging / shelf storage space, a good size flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, chair, high quality black out curtains and double patio doors opening onto the balcony. The shower was excellent with an easily controllable thermostatic shower, and a tiled enclosure. All finished to a high quality. Breakfast was a little hap hazard in that scrambled egg and sausage were provided as part of the menu but once they were gone they weren’t refilled. Having said that generally the breakfast was very good and quite varied. The street outside the front of the hotel was busy during the day and quiet at night. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which will take you Saint Jean De Luz and another stop 250m up the road that will take you into Biarritz, so no need to use the car if you so chose. The hotel reception area is a beach theme and has a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere, with a small bar serving a range of draught / bottled beers, wines and spirits, all reasonably priced for a hotel. There is also a small restaurant serving a limited but varied menu if you fancy a night in. We ate there once and the food was good. If you want to eat out there is an endless choice of restaurants on the road to and in Biarritz, but remember that most do not open until 7-7.30pm. If you just fancy a drink there is a beach and bar just down the road where surfers congregate at weekends and evenings. Plenty of free car parking on site.

Lovely rooms and very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - especially reception and the domestic staff. Beautiful views from the front of the hotel. Quiet area and comfy beds - slept really well.

Little bit far out of the centre of town, although only 20 min walk. Usually there is a great bus service nearby but this wasn’t running due to roadworks when we were there. Used taxis/Ubers, which weren’t too expensive, as sometimes it was too hot to walk.

The hotel was in a great position free car park layout was great you could walk to two beaches and 7 mins drive to the center of Biarritz the reception staff were great bar and restaurant not so

The bar you had to find a member of staff every time you wanted a drink the breakfast was ok but not as good as the pictures shown we went to the restaurant the first night the staff did not know what they were doing the food and choices were not good one of the main meals was not what we ordered but the staff kept away from us so my wife eat it we went to pay and complained and the answer was they knew it was wrong but it’s all the same price! So we didn’t eat there again went to the beach restaurant better food better service better choices

A lovely clean hotel in a great location. Unfortunately as a coeliac, the restaurant and breakfast staff had no understanding of the need to prevent cross contamination. Gluten-free bread was provided firstly unwarmed from the fridge and secondly without protective packaging. When warmed, I had no confidence that cross-contamination had been avoided. Some of the evening restaurant staff were not able properly to identify suitable food for a coeliac.

The location of the hotel was great, near to both the beaches and town. The staff were excellent. Really helpful and friendly,especially the restaurant staff. The hotel was very clean and the food was lovely.

The only comment I would make (which is not the hotels fault) is that the sat nav address we were provided with when booking took us to a completely wrong location! Nothing to complain about the hotel at all.

We have stayed here before. Hotel has been renovated and renamed. Lobby and hotel look much better. Rooms have freshend up. And extra bed for our soon was provided even when saying it wasn’t necessary. Thank you for the extra mille. Superb breakfast, all products very fresh with many choice. Sauna, hamman and swimming pool from Thalmar is one of the reasons we have been booking this hotel for the last few years on our way from the north to the south. Great stay and we will be continue to come back.
