Lots actually. Let’s start with location, 15 minutes comfortably walking from airport to Hotel. On arrival we were advised of room entry time. Able to leave luggage at reception so not a problem. Room was so functional for our needs. Now the beds were super comfy and clean. The shower was fantastic, hot and all showers (2 heads) worked great. Next was location of bus stop to town centre or Bayonne. 1 min walk from hotel and number 5 bus. If you wanted to go further afield 1 min walk to another bus stop for example going to San Sebastián using flixbus. Really great location for exploring but importantly for a hotel, it was perfect.

Nothing not to like

Literally the most comfortable bed you could want and finally two decent pillows (actually the best I've found in over 100 hotels across Europe, bravo Campanile!) Good storage and a decent shower. Food at the restaurant was good quality. Fabulous as a stop over, get a night's sleep hotel. Plenty of easily accessible parking

The fold out kids need we had in one room wasn't great and was clearly quite dated, as were other parts of the room (not the bed, that was lovely!) and the room was quite noisy, largely because of the American motel style of the rooms. Flights from Biarritz airport (literally over the road) start at about six am so don't stay here if you want a lie in! (Or bring ear plugs). It's clearly a 'stopover' hotel, and was for us on a road trip, so don't look at the prices and be tempted to stay for a week for a holiday here essentially.

The staff have been obliging in holding an envelope at reception with a small gift for a friend. My friend was supposed to pick it up with in a few days but has gone away on an unexpected trip to attend to a family matter elsewhere in France and was not able to collect it until their return. So I appreciated the staff keeping the gift and letting me know it hadn't been collected.

Very close to the airport, very close to Atabal , to the skate indoor. Good connections to the ocean 🌊, friendly and helpful stuff.

There is no cleaning in the room , and we stayed for 8 nights , wich is kind of crazy … they gave us new towels every time we asked , but still .. I understood the “environment friendly “ hotel’s policy , but …

All of it, excellent; Reception, Room, comfort, facilities (for the room allocated to me who is disabled especially) breakfast etc. Parking was a little cramped however and all the disabled spaces were occupied by vehicles not displaying a blue badge. Reception kindly allowed me to park in an EV recharging bay so no problem...!!!

Close to the airport was what I needed. Staff were great. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Accommodation block looks a bit scruffy from outside. Inside was very clean and tidy. I had an issue with the air conditioning, but it wasn’t that hot. So, it didn’t cause a problem. The reception/restaurant staff were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was quite adequate and well presented. Using the post code, I found the hotel impossible to find. After 30 minutes stressful searching, I was rescued by a local van driver. The declared location was over 1 kilometre from reality

Postcode quite misleading by over 1 kilometre.

Great location with nearby EV Charging. The on-site restaurant was excellent with good choice of menu.

At the price absolutely nothing. The hotel was very popular and well run with friendly staff. What’s not to like?

Building look a little run down and rooms don’t have much spare space. There is nothing of interest in the immediate neighbourhood as it’s bordered by the airport and industrial area. Nevertheless, there is close access to the airport, rail and buses

Lovely meal after late flight in. Very helpful number 3 bus driver and airport attendant made getting there easy if you don't fancy the walk. Helpful with all requests, room was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for stopover to St Jean pied de port , Camino trail.
