Location is very convenient, right opposite the tram stops at the train station. We were visiting for the annual wine festival and the tram took us close to the festival site - Room is no frills, but clean and comfortable - Toilet is in a separate room. Shower always had plenty of hot water and I really liked the smell of the soap/hand/body wash provided - Free WiFi was fast and reliable - Air conditioning worked well (very welcome as it was hot weather during our stay) - Reception staff were polite and friendly, and responded promptly to queries via messaging on this website - This was a return visit for us as we previously stayed here 18 months ago when last visiting Bordeaux. Since then, the tram route to the airport had been completed, so it was a very comfortable and easy journey, changing only once at Porte de Bourgogne. Recommend using the TBM app - was so easy to use and validate our travel pass

This is very much a Ryanair esq kind of place. You get what you pay for!! Bed and shower. If your trying to earn Brownie points with the Mrs don't book this place. She will not be impressed. However if like me you're here for the occasion and not the hotel then this place ticks all the boxes. Opposite the train station, where all buses arrive from the airport. Great cafes just outside the station, and the city is easily accessible with the bus and tram service, ON YOUR DOORSTEP!!! PERFECT

My mate and I came over for the Rugby World cup. All prices were ridiculously inflated and Ibis was no exception. But the room was spotlessly clean and you know what to expect from a budget hotel in terms of facilities. Staff were very helpful and polite and the room did its job. i.e some where clean and comfortable to crash out at the end of a long day at the rugby!

Pricing was silly. There is a point where making a reasonable mark-up for an international sporting event goes from "fair enough" to outright profiteering. Ibis fell into the latter camp.

We specifically wanted a hotel close to the train station in order to catch an early bus to the airport. You can easily see this hotel from outside the station. Room was no frills but had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Plenty of hot water when needed and surprisingly nice smelling shower gel! Despite being close so close to the station, we didn't hear any noise that disturbed our sleep which was great. Security was good - you had to use your room card to gain access to the front door. Rapid check out - you post your key card into a box outside reception.

Nothing that I can think of during our short stay

If you have ever stayed at an Ibis Budget hotel, you already know what to expect. The room was good and more spacious than other units of the same chain. It was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the room had a good view from the street. The hotel offers a good French-style breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. The hotel is located a few steps from the train station. The area looked safe enough and there are many restaurants nearby. All in all, it was a very good choice for a short stay in Bordeaux.

Excellent location - across the road from Gare St Jean. Really helped as we arrived late and departed early. Breakfast was a surprise and really good. Good value for money

There was no kettle in the room to make tea. I know it is budget but at least have a central place then where one can get hot water.

Location good the room was good size clean.

I would have liked a hairdryer in the room. It should be standard even in a budget hotel. Other budget hotels have hairdryers. And chair with a back would have been nice but hairdryer main disappointment and shower head wouldn’t stay up. That was annoying.

A great little hotel right next to the railway station. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was because of the budget price. If you want something handy for a couple of nights, I would highly recommend this place.

Compact rooms, not too far away from the city center, on the weekend free parking nearby

We had to have 3 people living in one room and only double bed was made, we had to make the 3rd bed by ourselves :/ neighbourhood is a little scary at night

Great location right next to the station and tram. 30 min walk into town which we enjoyed and did there and back daily. Staff friendly.

Value you for money. Paid €205 euros for two nights I feel that was overpriced even tho a budget hotel I feel €50 per night would be more realistic for what you get.
