Great location. Very good parking. Pool is fab especially on a very hot day. Apartments are clean and comfortable albeit basic.

Some things have changed since our stay last year and didn't feel like improvements for guests. You have to make your own bed up on arrival. And when you leave, you have to strip the bed then hoik all your bedding and towels to reception in a big sack that was actually quite heavy. There should be a tea towel provided I think. And also hand soap. And as guidance for anyone staying in future, here's a list of what you'll need to take: Pool towels Tea towel Washing up cloth for wiping sides etc Dishwasher tabs Washing up liquid Hand soap/gel and shower gel/shampoo Kitchen roll Coffee capsules (there's also a filter coffee maker) Sugar if required Tea Salt and pepper/condiments All food stuffs/drinks/water Additional ice trays (1 is provided)

Great location for the town centre, great value, excellent secure parking and with the bonus of a little pool if it's warm enough for a dip. Top tips for other travellers.....there is a breakfast buffet option at 13€ per head but if you're happy to eat in your own apartment or on your terrace, there are the world's best croissants produced in the bakers up the hill (opposite the public car park where you'll find the closest charging point). You should take with you.....a bit of washing up liquid, a kitchen roll, dishwasher tabs, ice trays (there's one but you may want more) and a cloth for wiping things down. I think you can buy those things at the property but it's probably easier to just bring your own.

The system keeps emailing you every day reminding you to do the online check in, even if you've already done it, which is annoying. Our apartment slept 6 but I wouldn't want to do that personally. It would feel very cramped and you'd have luggage everywhere. The beds aren't as comfy as say nice hotel beds, but are ok. There's no oven so you can't heat your croissants up very easily. There is a microwave with a grill though so we used that to warm them a bit. The dishwasher has a secret, unlabelled button on the edge of the door. It will absolutely not work unless you press that first and there's nothing to tell you that!

Good location within an easy walk of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments were very quiet, once inside we hardly could tell that there were other occupied apartments nearby. We chose this place as a base for exploring the area by bicycle and we found the on-site storage very useful. We mixed cooking in the apartment or preparing picnics with eating out and found the facilities just right for us. We would stay there again.

We would have been willing to pay a little more for a cleaning kit with a fabric tea towel or another dishwasher tablet and hand soap.

This was a very simple but very clean set of apartments. The environmnet was quiet and it was only a 10 minute walk (maximum) to all the restaurants. I will definitely go again.

There was nothing I did not like. I would only say - and this was absolutely not a problem for me - but you can see everyone else's balcony. But this was not a problem for me at all.

Perfect location , we had ground floor apartments with nice patio for our dog perfect side apartment quite and view amazing historic fortress, price was unbelievable low for week stay , car park free and secure , very friendly staff and late check out without charge -definitely will return

Great location in Chinon. Short walk into the mediaeval town , restaurants and the fortress. Pool area is clean and well looked after. Although apartment was small, we had a large balcony with a view across to the fortress.

Apartment (1 bed) is very small and has little storage space. Also very limited kitchen area and there is no proper oven. Inside the apartments could do with some updating. Furniture looks tired. Laundry costs €6 and there is only one machine for the whole complex, as far as we could see.

Comfortable accommodation, with pleasant pool, and good, quiet location, only a short walk from centre. Although the apartments are all a bit faceless concrete, the standard of accommodation was good, and it was quiet in early July.

There is a requirement to clean the whole apartment before leaving, including switching off and draining the refrigerator, which’s seems rather excessive as we only stayed there for 5 nights.

Water running down inside of staircase on level 3. Charge for dog is rather high (€15 per day) especially as the property holds a €300 deposit for your stay and you have to clean the entire apartment anyway so could have been less.

Location for Chinon and USSE Chateau and CHINON CHATEAU. The swimming pool as it was a very hot few days while we were there. Friendly English speaking staff was and the apartment was well equipped and spotless. And plenty of free parking. 10 minute walk into Chinon
