Exceptional - A Perfect Stay I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for an absolutely wonderful stay at your hotel. My recent visit was truly memorable, and two aspects, in particular, stood out. First, the breakfast was extraordinary! It was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever experienced. The variety, quality, and freshness of the options were truly impressive, and it was such a delightful start to each day. Second, the bed was incredibly comfortable. After a long day of exploring, sinking into such a plush and supportive bed was pure bliss. I slept exceptionally well every night, which is a rare treat when traveling. Also, It was a truly delightful culinary experience! The fish was superb, and the overall atmosphere of the brasserie was just perfect. Combining the outstanding dinner with the extraordinary breakfast and that incredibly comfortable bed, your hotel truly offers a complete and luxurious experience. Every aspect of my stay has been exceptional. Thank you once again for your remarkable hospitality. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately on the first evening, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the staff was extremely attentive to move us into a bigger room. As we much preferred our original room (brighter and newer), they managed to fix the A/C the next day and move us back into our original room. The staff are all wonderful. Special shoutout to Pauline for accommodating our room changes so late in the evening and for proactively coming out to the car park to see if we needed a hand! Also shoutout to Manuela for her wam hospitality, and barista skills, at our breakfasts.

Everything! The room was large, comfortable and the bedding was exquisite! When we arrived the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Paulina and Lauren were fantastic! The attention to detail was appreciated and housekeeping was also excellent. Try one of the restaurants onsite for a wonderful dining experience. Breakfast is worthwhile, so ensure that you do that. Overall, a great stay in a wonderful location in the heart of Colmar.

The only thing we needed extra help with was finding the parking. Streets were closed so I had to drop my wife off to find the hotel and drop a pin.

Relais & Châteaux La Maison Des Têtes is a beautiful holiday place. The staff do everything to make you feel welcome. Nothing is left to chance, and you feel treated like royalty and at the same time part of the family. It is difficult to single out a few because the staff, from reception to waiters to the cleaning staff, is generally fantastic. The hotel and its facilities are worth highlighting. There is EVERYTHING you need and even more. We visited both the brasserie and the gourmet restaurant, and they both lived fully up to our expectations and the great reviews they received. We have visited far more than one hundred hotels over the years, and Relais & Châteaux La Maison Des Têtes is one of the few we will always remember.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent Room made better by quality service for the room, for reception and for breakfast. Varied breakfast with first class, freshly cooked egg options backed up by charcouterie, fruit and bread. Located inside the old town with excellent access to the main attractions. The building itself was a very old town house that had been modernised with great care but without losing the character.

No bar for a lunchtime or evening drink and restaurant only open 4 days a week, plenty of other restaurants within 5 minutes walk however.

Parking Access: The entrance to the parking lot is narrow, which can make it somewhat inconvenient to use a car. 3. Lack of Facilities: The hotel does not have facilities such as a swimming pool or spa, which might be a drawback for families or guests with children. A beautiful building, fantastic food. the room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional - the take out bag was a very nice touch!

There was some frustration that the hotel only had 1 iron for all guests. When we needed to iron an item for dinner, the reception staff were uncomfortable to ask for the iron back from a guest that had had it for a number of hours. No fitness facilities which is a surprise in a 5 star hotel.

• Although I knew that the tap water is quite drinkable, I did not want to drink water from the bathroom. Maybe a new bottle of (complimentary) still water could be delivered to the rooms with an evening service.

Our breakfast was delightful every morning and the service was exceptional, along with the food! Our last morning we had an early departure to catch a flight, and the kitchen packed up a wonderful assortment of fruit charcuterie and bread, even butter ready to travel with us. The room offered good space and we appreciated the separate toilet and bathtub, and my son absolutely loved his loft. Super soft carpet and very comfy beds with no road noise even in our street facing room. The front desk was always staffed by someone so helpful- from our late arrival after hours to arranging our car service to the airport. Lastly, Colmar is a fantastic location to visit many other charming, though far smaller, Alsatian towns. Would absolutely return to Maison des Tetes!

Would have preferred a shower and walled in space in lieu of an open bathtub with the handheld nozzle.

Excellent location within a historical building in the old city of Colmar. Beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast.

Less facilities than expected for a 5 star hotel. Dinner at the historic brasserie was a bit disappointing. Limited parking availability at the hotel, but close public parking was available.
