Our recent stay at this charming hotel in Colmar was truly memorable. The hotel's location is ideal, offering a short walking distance to the picturesque Old Town, Little Venice, and a variety of shops and restaurants. The room was upgraded, providing a very comfortable bed, cleanliness, and quietness, ensuring a restful stay. The staff, particularly Ann at the front desk, were incredibly helpful, offering valuable insights and information about Colmar. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. The hotel's proximity to local attractions and its warm hospitality make it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Colmar.

The location was perfect! A few minutes walk from everything, but still quiet because it’s not exactly in the busy center. Breakfast was really nice, not very diverse and not many options, but everything they have is very good and tasty. High quality breakfast. They also have very good quality of tea and many many options. In the shower they provide a very good quality body wash of Nuxe. Last thing, the staff in reception were so nice and welcoming.

Only one elevator which caused long waiting times sometimes, but most of the time it was ok. Bathtub is very very small. Toilet in the room also very small.

What we liked very much is that this hotel is right next to the (car-free) center of Colmar. No need to get out your car in the evening to go to a nice restaurant. Also easy to exit to go to nearby beautiful villages like Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, etc. We also very very much liked starting our mornings with its breakfast ;-).

The room and bathroom was clean but to our taste very small + somewhat on the dark side (just one window). The front of the hotel is also not on a very nice street... but once you turn the corner you are away from it + when you walk like 50meters you can have a good drink or a great meal (try eg restaurant Pfeffel !). Biggest concern: do not come with a too bigger car - really needed my BMW5 sensors to maneuver in(to) the parking. Anything bigger - not sure you can get in/out without a scratch.

We liked that it was a known brand of hotel, so could expect a certain standard. Our room was very comfortable. It was a bit removed from the centre of the town so maybe quieter as a result but also lacking soul

I didn’t like the fact that they had no English Breakfast Tea! Also that there was not a proper dining room & that a simple breakfast as €20! We were also not impressed that we could not get a drink on our last night at about 9.30pm? I think the guy could not be bothered serving us! I thought guests could always get a drink?

The location was great for visiting the Christmas market and the onsite parking was invaluable. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me with various requests during our stay. It was great that there was a window in our room that we could open for fresh air as that's not always the case. It was very quiet at night and we slept well.

The price of the hotel is ridiculous and definitely not value for money but sadly it's in-line with all the other hotels in Colmar who charge crazy prices at this tine of year because everyone comes for the Christmas market.

Terrific location! A very easy walk from the main train station, extremely convenient walk to the winter markets. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of items to choose from and plentiful. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean. My only negative is that the bed was a little firm for my liking, but I am noticing that most are firm here in France, and this is more a preference than a fault. I would definitely return and would recommend Hotel Mercury Colmar to anyone looking to visit Colmar, I had a wonderful stay!

We arrived at hotel after a short taxi ride from train station and realised that we had left important papers in the taxi. Aba and Christelle in reception immediately rang taxi company and arranged for him to return. Their quick thinking saved us a lot of grief. All other staff that we met were similarly friendly and helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and the location near the city's tourist district was perfect.

The staff here were awesome, friendly welcome xmas eve when we arrived and for the whole time we were there they never stopped smiling, nothing was too much trouble, to think they were working the whole Xmas period and being so hospitable was lovely. Rooms are small but very comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It’s literally right next to the old town too so takes less than a minute to reach all you want to see.

Location was fantastic. 10 minute walk to Colmar tourist attractions. Parking was fine, be aware of height limitations but secure and underground. Staff were professional and courteous. Breakfast was okay, nothing to note as exceptional but good overall. Would avoid the 8am rush. 9am onward seemed to be better.

The hotel was fine, nothing brilliant but nothing I would mark them down for. The staff were helpful and we were able to secure parking.

When I checked in they took my credit card and said they were only recording the numbers against any charges incurred. They charged for breakfast, but we often don't have breakfasts. When it was time to check out, they had to refund the breakfast costs, which means he actually DID take money out of our account at the outset, contrary to the advice he gave me. :(
