This was an excellent place to stay. The staff were friendly and provided suggestions for dinner and how to get there in English. We are a family of four and appreciated the loft that separated our sleeping area from the kids’ beds. Air conditioning was such a pleasant surprise after several hot days in Paris. This location is very convenient to the old town with lots of dining, shopping and terrific ambience. The parking garage has a fee but the hotel gives you a paid card so that you don’t have to pay the full price. The hotel charges $15 for the parking overnight.

My only complaint was that we only scheduled ourselves for one night. We would love to stay longer!

Mostly great. The breakfast spread is excellent, however, I (personally) didn’t much much the fresh baguette which I found dense, very doughy, and not crisp. I prefer lighter baguette with crispy crust. As a tea drinker, I’m not crazy about the new system of loose tea leave and the paper bag. The tea just doesn’t filter properly. Would much prefer teapot and strainer.

The location is great, in walking distance to the city centre but most importantly easily reachable without driving into the tangle of small streets. We can highly recommend that you park in the garage under the big square in front of it (Parking Place Rapp) - you will get a special hotel rate, and the hotel has very limited parking it seems. The hotel is in an old historic building, but the rooms are quite modern. We were up under the roof, the room was on the smaller side, but perfectly okay for a city trip. Just had to mind our heads under the roof. Breakfast is included and the choice was quite good, better than what we had the day after in Strasbourg for an extra charge. There's also coffee and croissants in a corner all day.

One small thing - the lighting in the room was awful. There's some really bright LED lighting behind the mirror and it is exactly shining into your eyes when you're at the desk. And we did not find any way to separately turn that off.

We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful old building that houses this hotel. We know that this is a large chain hotel, but the building and the location of the hotel are perfect for visiting Colmar. It is just a few blocks away from the bustling old town. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. The room was a good size and clean. We found this to be perfect for our stay.

The position of this hotel is the key for visiting the city. We really appreciated the open bar with water and coffee. Very rich breakfast with a lot of options

The moquette in the room and the strange smell that comes from it. Unfortunately we had to pay an external parking as the facility didn’t have parking lots for all the guests inside the property.

The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, they showed us around, explained how to park our car in an underground garage and showed main attractions on the map. Once we returned from our walk, they even warmed our quiche we brought and served in nice plates and we could sit in the breakfast lounge area, which is really nice and comfy. There are some drinks available for free all day long - tea, coffee, water. Location is perfect - the city centre is just one step away. The price including breakfast was very nice (but there was no cancellation)

The location is convenient for both access to the old town as well as the train and bus station. The guy at the reception whose name unfortunately I did not pick up was very helpful with his recommendations for local sightseeing,day trips and restaurants.

Although this hotel has a modern theme it has been created within a converted brewery and retains many of the architectural features including machinery parts from the actual brewing equipment originally used in the building, to provide a very pleasant and interesting place. Originally being a commercial building the high ceilings have been retained including the original large section timber joists and floorboards, cleaned and stained. There are also parts of the original machinery suspended from these large timbers which provide character and are very thought provoking in that you find yourself trying to work out what each piece might have been used for. Generally the rooms are quite large, decorated and maintained to a high standard, spotlessly clean, (including shower room), have air conditioning, and are light and airy as the original large windows have been retained. The shower itself was also great with a modern style cubicle. A nice touch was various teas and coffees were available in the reception area 24/7 as there were no facilities in the rooms. The hotel had a nice lounge area where you could watch live TV and they also served a limited range of hot snacks if you needed them. The location was excellent, only 10 minutes walk from Little Venice in the centre of town. Parking was in an underground car park over the road which was a little expensive, €15 / day, but safe for both the car and you personally.

The location was very good - right opposite a large beautiful park and short walk to the old city centre yet quiet. The breakfast provided was pretty good and there was free coffee and cold water in the lobby for everyone. We were grateful that the air-conditioning was cool enough to deal with the very hot summer heat. All-in-all a pleasant stay.

The bed was placed close to the roof beams so if we were not careful we might knock our heads. Carparking on the site courtyard was limited, we wondered why they didn't open their underground carpark for use. One more luggage rack for the room for 2 persons with 2 luggages would be appreciated!
