The location is unbeatable. Ski in Ski out and a ski shop on site. Good value and have all basic amenities. Rooms are comfortable.

They just don’t pay attention to details and are comfortable at being a 3 star hotel. Wifi is non existent. Towels are non absorbent. Breakfast could be better. Could provide free water at ski shop or at lobby. No one helps with the luggages

Great location, spacious rooms, warm pool at the property, proximity to the ski lifts, friendly staff, good breakfast. I got a very reasonable rate for the rooms (I booked well in advance). We payed extra for the half board and liked the dinners also. We also had a New Years Eve dinner at the property and loved it. All in all, everything was great, thank you!

Rooms are a little outdated (but again, the value for money I got was great). Check your bills at the dinner before signing. A few times there were extra items in the bill that we did not order or consume (this happened only at dinners, never happened at the bar or the terrace).

Location is excellent right on the slopes, next to L’Apogee. Price is excellent for 1850.

Facilities are run down. Elevator is extremely slow. Some staff didn’t speak English at all, including on reception.

Despite some harsher reviews, the New Solarium completely met our expectations for a perfectly located, ski in/out, reasonably priced hotel (by Courchevel standards) with great ski shop. All of the staff were nice, pleasant and helpful. Cleaning crew did in fact replace our towels daily (despite some reviews to the contrary). Other positives: - Breakfast was very good with substantial variety (and pancake Saturday!) - Nice relaxing spa area with large heated pool, small sauna and steam room. - Cosy lobby. - Sits right across from Jardin Alpin gondola (very convenient for town centre access).

- The hotel entrance is located almost one floor up from street level and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. - Similarly, our room on the 6th floor was not served by an elevator (reception is on the 5th floor so we only had 1 flight of stairs to climb to reach 6th floor). The elevator serves floors 1-5 apparently. - Sound insulation in the rooms is not great, however our stay was nice and quiet regardless. - The hotel and rooms are very dated. Needs renovation. - Rooms are rather small. - Fitted carpet could do with professional cleaning.

Ski in-out was great. Location is great for skiing. I loved the sauna, steam bath and indoor pool. The lobby is nice, to spend some time in the evenings. Breakfast was fulfilling. Great in terms of value for money, considering the average hotel prices in Courchevel 1850

Not a dislike exactly, but one thing to consider: Jardin Alpin lift was the main way of transport back to hotel from town (if you don't want to walk uphill for 15 minutes) and it doesn't operate after 19:10. There is also a shuttle which we didn't take so I don't know if it is easy to use it.

Location was great, not so far from Courchevel 1850 and the staff is wonderful, very kind and helpful with all our demands. They helped us with restaurant reservations, public transport, taxi, late dinner when we arrived. They are awesome. Breakfast was very good (best scrambled eggs ever).

The hotel is quite old and need some renew, like carpets and some furniture, but nothing that can not be dealing with.

Visited this hotel many times over the years with friends and family. It is now at its very best. A wonderful breakfast and a 5* dinner. Room was exactly the one I requested and the balcony more than made up for slightly smaller room. The staff were all exception, friendly and very helpful. All in all a great experience and I look forward to my next trip !!! Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday.

The common areas and hotel view are very beautiful. The location is great, shuttle stop and ski slopes are in front of the hotel. There is access to the ski room within the hotel

The hotel room is old and poorly maintained. Hair dryer does not work well. shower head very low and old. the room was cold. Bathroom heating was not working. poor breakfast

Great ski in-ski out property with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was very nice with a lot of different options. Location location location!!! Price for courchevel is unmatched.

The rooms are slightly dated and the carpets and couch add to an old feel. Otherwise great hotel. Would definitely come back.

Best location, very close to ski areas. Ski store on the hotel. Friendly personnel. Good breakfast. In general VfM selection in Courchevel 1850.
