Felt well looked after all through the process, from before arrival through to check out. We arrived after hours, but Patricia went out of her way to ensure that we could get into our room. Even to the extent she was worried the next morning we hadn’t found it and came to see if we had arrived. It’s an oasis of calm a short detour from the Autoroute and, although this time was a stop over, it is a place we could easily see us returning for a week or two. Only downside being the occasional train noise. Pastries were homemade and excellent - do not be put off by them looking a little ‘well done’. You will be missing out if you do. It’s not an extensive buffet, but then it’s not a chain hotel either What you do get is tasty, locally sourced food. I don’t leave reviews often - but this Logis deserves one!

There are always improvements that could be made, but they would be nitpicking and not taking into account what you should expect from this type of establishment. If you are dependent on WiFi, though, then you will struggle, particularly in the separate house. But this is the kind of place you go to to get ‘off grid’.

Some areas could have had a little upgrade like toilet seats. The shower in the 2 bedroom area was a wet room and we didn’t want to use it in case it wet the whole room.

The evening set menu was reasonably priced and had the flexibility to substitute courses from the a la carte menu. The evening meals were served in a dedicated room which was subtly lit and comfortable. There is a good choice of local wine by the glass or carafe as well as a comprehensive wine list. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room with a side room where the buffet is laid out. Plenty of choice, breads, cereal, yogurts, fruit, ham and cheese. Coffee, tea or chocolate is brought to your table.

Old fashioned hotel in the countryside but a short distance from the motorway. A return visit after 30 years when we used to stop overnight on our journey back to the UK from our home in Italy. Not a lot has changed, the warm friendliness is the same, though some of the facilities have been updated. Good simple French cuisine

The hotel is located away from heavy traffic, so nice and quiet. Room was OK. Dinner was very good; breakfast was even better - amongst other goodies were some wonderful croissants and a jug of excellent coffee, essential for a good start to the day.

We live the location and the staff and owners are very communicative and helpful in every way possible. They are dog friendly which is a big bonus for us.

Some rooms do not have a/c and that is something to bear in mind in the summer months

Friendly family run hotel. Soon to have refurbishment works. Our rooms were excellent, and the wet room in the accessible room was one of the best my daughter has used. We enjoyed the set valentines dinner, which was delicious, but there was also a set menu of the day and a la carte to choose from, all featuring local products, as did the drinks list. The hotel is on the edge of the Vosges Forest with paths for walking and looks beautiful. We will return and try the spa and walks

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. You have to eat at the restaurant, the food is delicious and at an affordable price. I had my dog with me which was no problem and I felt very welcomed with my dog. The spa was small but very lovely and perfect to relax after a long hike.

Excellent friendly welcome and lovely meal in the evening. We were there during Bastille day celebrations so it was a very happy atmosphere. Excellent touch having a fan in the room which was warm when we arrived.

Room decor and layout was a bit dated but everything was clean and well kept.

The location was wonderful and the local walks great and well marked. The staff were very helpful and the terrace was lovely for dinner with great view of countryside. I was travelling with my dog and the walks were good and there was no dog surcharge in the hotel
