This was a treat. We arrived to walk into a garden courtyard, surrounded by very old historical buildings and irises and shrubs filling spaces between cobble stones. The owner met us with charming enthusiasm as we discovered this beautifully renovated building was his creation. Every shelf is filled with antique objects, from kitchen moulds to dolls dressed to hide the wine bottles! We were given the menu of the day for our dinner. Expertly cooked. I would normally shake my head at the idea of a sausage but have now decided I must have seriously missing out on some culinary treats all my life. Our bedroom was very comfortable. A good large room with beamed ceiling. The bathroom with immaculate. I mustn’t go on otherwise I’ll never be able to stay there again as it will be booked out.

Unique home in a small town surrounded by a bucolic countryside. We found the farmhouse comfortable, quiet, and architecturally interesting dating back to the 17th century. We enjoyed our 2 night stay, and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. It is good option for staying outside of Strasbourg (approx 45 min, 50km), and the Alsace Wine Route. What stands out is Jacques who is a great, lively, interesting and engaging host. My only regret is not having more time for talks with Jacques.

This is a very expertly and tastefully constructed facility. It is located in a quiet and safe town. The host was very friendly, helpful and is rightly proud of his wonderful construction. Secure parking was available outside the property. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet. The breakfast was pre-ordered, very tasty and included freshly-make eggs to order. Most of the food was grown and created on site. This is an outstanding accommodation that is highly recommended.

A really interesting place to stay, full of history, quiet and peaceful. super comfy room full of character and nice and cool considering the very warm weather. Breakfast was perfect, served in the courtyard under the shade of the tree as was our freshly cooked evening meal. lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome.

What a magical place! When you open the outside door you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the stunning courtyard; as if stepping in a brothers Grimm story. We were welcomed by one of the owners and he explained and told us about the history and some fun-facts of the place. The room was very comfortable; everything newly renovated, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was very good; i finally slept without waking up with a stiff back. The shower is huge and everything was clean and brand new. We had dinner and breakfast; very tastefull, mostly organic and prepared with love and attention for detail. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was the number 1 surprise of our holiday.

What a wonderful guest house!! My husband and I loved our stay here on our road trip through Alsace. The room was spacious and cozy and the whole house was so charming, unique and lovingly decorated. The host Jacques was very kind and helpful. He cooked us a wonderful dinner meal and the wine was fantastic, too. Would highly recommend Au Fil du Temps!

Stunning French farm!! Beautifully done! Gorgeous antiques!! Friendly host! I want to return! There were many details to appreciate and enjoy, from door hinges to textiles and silver flatware; from decorative window treatments to carved stone and perfectly conditioned antique wood. The berber carpet upstairs was perfect to sit on and play with my three little kids. The beds were covered with superbly soft linen bedding. Breakfast was delicious! The boutique has lovely pieces for purchase. I wish I had more room in my vehicle for all the porcelain houses, they're beautiful! I can't say enough good things about Au Fil du Temps. I highly recommend staying here!

The inn is very beautiful and spotlessly clean. The charming hosts cooked dinner for us and it was one of the best meals we have had in Europe. The breakfast was an over the top affair and everything was excellent. We wish to come back again someday. This is a very special place.

Lots of great features - characterful room, friendly host, comfortable beds and bathroom, great breakfast. There is a very nice local restaurant nearby which serves traditional meals at a fair price. You can also eat dinner at the property.

The property has a beautiful courtyard and understandably the hosts don't want cars inside it, so you have to park outside the property. We had lots of luggage, wine, Christmas presents etc. in the car and it wasn't practical to unload everything, so we were a little nervous but it's a very quiet village and in fact everything was safe.

The property is unique and amazing. Absolutely beautiful farmhouse! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay and feel comfortable!! Owners were fabulous and so friendly. Highly recommend!
