As a French out of town budget hotel Ace Hotel was far better than expected. Large room, well insulated fro traffic noise, very efficient aircon, clean and fresh throughout, comprehensive breakfast buffet in a pleasant breakfast room, friendly staff, secure parking for our motorcycle, easy access to the adjacent motorway for onward travel - given the choice of budget hotels in the vicinity we are confident that we chose the right one.

Really nothing much to dislike - the location on a commercial estate leaves a little to be desired, as does the range of eating establishments in the vicinity, but as a night for onward travel the Ace served our requirements well.

Parking is in an underground secure carpark. Beds new and comfortable. Exceptional value for money, we had a 2 bedroom apartment for the price of a hotel room. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Wifi was fast and easy to connect. A 5 minute walk takes you into the centre of the town with many restaurants. We walked 20 minutes to the Champagne producer, Joeseph Perrier, for tasting and to buy a bottle.

hand soap in the bathroom would have been a nice addition

Friendly welcome. Room very clean. Good shower and comfortable bed. Quiet air conditioning in the room. Breakfast normal budget hotel fare, but good choice. Breakfast room monitored and items replenished as needed and area kept clean and wiped after guests left. Ideal location for stopover, lots of secure parking. Right next door to a bank of EV chargers, Carrefour supermarket and petrol station a few minutes away.

Cleanliness of the hotel and the easy location from the motorway. Plus three restaurants nearby for an evening meal. We were also advised by the friendly receptionist that upon showing your room card 10 % discount was available at all the restaurants too.

No facilities for making a hot drink in your room. Although there was a vending machine in reception.

Location next to motorway. Handy for an overnight stop to break the north-south journey up. Lots of eateries close by.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room - only a machine at reception. Hotel charged extra 1.30 for City tax but the Booking.com said all taxes are included. Continental breakfast didn’t look very exciting so we went to the Carrefour supermarket nearby.

Nice and clean hotel. Nothing fancy but all necessary things and again ours was clean. Staff were nice and the internet worked well. Walking distance to some restaurants and, had it not been Sunday, grocery store across the street.

Second pillow would have been nice but that's about all.

It’s a no-frills stay that delivers everything you need for a comfortable visit, all at a fair price. Ideal for anyone looking for reliable, accommodations.

The Shower room smelt quite bad when we arrived and the w.c. flush kept running after being used. I realised the trap to the shower was where the smell was coming from so I ran some water in it to fill the shower trap and the smell disappeared soon afterwards. When I flushed the WC more than once this seemed to stop it from continuing to run after flushing.

Secure car parking. Choice of eating places next door. Good breakfast. Rooms clean but compact, great for one night en route stay. Our dog was also welcome ( but not in breakfast room of course!).
