nice location and good furniture...

RockyPop is an excellent hotel apartment choice for when you are stayingin Grenoble. It is well located within the city and has secure parking underneath. Our room was large and had a well appointed kitchen and we loved the natural light coming into our room. The RockyPop Restaurant and Bar,on the ground floor, were both busy and buzzing venues and there were also a number of cute restaurants and bars right across the road, as well as grocery stores. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if ever in Grenoble.

There was nothing to dislike

The rooms were good with reasonably efficient air con. the restaurant had a good selection of options which suited our varied diets. There was a car park we could use which is a bit tight but very useful. We stayed for one night only.fo

This is the second year we have stayed at Rocky Pop. The first year we had two apartments with an interconnecting door. This year we had an apartment with an interconnecting door. There was only one toilet and bathroom for 4 people and the access to the room was up two flights of stairs with no lift.

Generous room size, well planned and arranged

We have chosen connecting studios with kitchenette. Yet upon our arrival, to our surprise, the kitchenette part was closed in both rooms with woden panels. When we have called in the morning to ask about it to the reception, we were told that we didn't pay for having kitchenette. However, upon verification of our booking, the description of the kitchenette was clearly indicated. This was unpleasant surprise as we planned to have breakfast in the room. During checkout we have mentioned it again, and different person said it was error on their side. But it was too late for us!

We booked Rocky Pop at very short notice when we lost the electricity supply to our holiday rental appartment shortly after arriving and had to find alternative accommodation quickly for the rest of our stay We couldn't have made a better choice and our rate was excellent value. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, stored our luggage from early morning and allowed us to check in hours ahead of the official time. Our fourth floor studio apartment was spacious and elegantly decorated in dark blue and neutral tones with colour accents, and included a huge comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a good-size oval dining table and chairs, a large smart TV, and a separate toilet and bathroom with a full-sized bath and a very effective over-bath shower. We had tons of storage space, daily housekeeping and everything was in excellent repair and spotlessly clean. While the hotel was busy and seemed popular with young families, our room was very quiet and we slept very well. We ate in the hotel's casual (and popular) diner-style restaurant on one evening and the menu was varied and tasty. The reception area had unlimited free tea/coffee and still/sparkling water available for guests. Check in and out was very easy, and all of the staff we encountered were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a youthful, fun vibe but we didn't feel at all out of place as older guests. The location is very central in an attractive area within easy walking distance from all of the sights, with a tram stop just two minutes' walk away (four stops to the railway/bus station). There's a couple of supermarkets just across the road, a fruit and vegetable shop virtually next door, with a cheese shop, bakery, wine shops, cafes, restaurants, etc just along the street. Highly recommended!

Compact self-sufficient kitchen with plenty of basic cookware, cooking/serving utensils, dinnerware and silverware. Enough dishwasher tabs and cleaning supplies were provided along with basic staples - salt and pepper. Tea/Coffee/Creamer/Sugar were provided in the apartment and available in the downstairs reception area. We informed them at the time of check-in that we had to cut short our stay by one night and they approved it within 24 hrs and refunded us one night stay amount on the day of check-out. There is a parking garage nearby with discounted overnight rates (if pre-booked) during your stay if the hotel is not able to accommodate.

We visited during the really hot summer days in end of July - the AC wasn't working in the entire building during our entire stay. But the facility didn't give us any discount for the inconvenience that caused!!

Fun and funky hotel! check-in was completed electronically with the support of the staff. Hotel had many fun features for both children and adults. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had booked an apartment which gave us a more room, with a small dining table and cooking facilities. Separate toilet to the bathroom. Shower was good. We had read that the hotel could be noisy, we did not find this at all (maybe time of the year) We were notified prior to arrival that the hotel could not accommodate our request for car parking and recommended an alternative car park, which was virtually across the road. Breakfast was great, a mixture of hot and cold foods. Internet was good. Location was in walking to the old town.

Great location, great staff - so helpful and friendly, good range of food, really nice room and facilities, really fun and quirky place - unusual in a good way. Loved the sauna, the bar, terrace. Fantastic! Hats off to everyone, brilliant hotel and great value for money.

Decor in room a little on the dark side but this is really only a very minor thing, as the room was fantastic otherwise.

Breakfast was very good. Beds were very comfortable. Great having an interconnecting room for our family. The staff were very good and friendly. We liked the vibe and the option of bottles of water at reception.

The dinner menu could have had more choice. Not much choice if you didn't want pizza. The pizza was very good though!
