Lovely apartment, spectacular view, very clean. Came to spend here weekend for my 30th birthday. Views though apartment are to die for.

In description it said there is a hairdryer so I didn't bring my own. But unfortunately hairdryer wasn't provided in the apartment and when I asked question through booking.com messages it was ignored. Also we booked breakfast included and paid for it but there was no breakfast at all. After we arrived we received a message that breakfast is Monday to Friday but we stayed during the weekend. Also I asked through booking.com messages what will happen with breakfast because it is included in our reservation and it is paid for, but again my message was ignored. I didn't received refund for the breakfast which wasn't provided.

The unit is beautiful, architecturally interesting and location great, restaurant on top beautiful!, with amazing view of the city.

Too many E mails received, did not have the code..after a day of driving standing in the lobby asking strangers to help ( all very nice ) but they could not. At the end one person with same problem had a phone No. and that person on the phone got us in. This is unacceptable, there should be somebody in the building. To help in those cases with a phone No. published clearly at the door outside ! If you rent to people as a Hotel you must assume that not all are completely computer savvy or that everything will go smoothly. We had a very tense hour outside, ready to leave and look for another hotel late in the eve. We understand the aim to save on costs, but there must be a limit to this. Otherwise great place (. Fairly "new" building (renovation of an old industrial building?), with digital check-in and check-out, modernly equipped apartment (kitchenette, bathroom, living room). Nice view of Grenoble and the surrounding area. Shuttle service from the hotel location to the riverbank with a battery-powered vehicle.

Despite the apartment being large enough, the architects failed to plan a "bedroom". They squeezed a small bed (which could easily have been 20 cm wider) between three walls, so the couple has to "climb" over each other - a poor solution. The public access road to the hotel is a disaster, and it is also difficult to find a parking space in the evening.

Grande suite at Babel Community hotel was very nice and roomy. Great view. Nice accommodation overall.

After closing of the reception the key needs to be retrieved from a box. While the process was nicely described in an email and instructions at the box, how to reach said room was tricky. People at the restaurant were not aware that the accommodation was actually at the end of the hall on their floor, so that added to the confusion. Exiting the restaurant towards this room required going through the escape door without the option of going back. After we figured out how to reach our apartment the right way, it started to make more sense. So many words, but not a big complaint.

The location is perfect. You get a view. The gondola that goes up the mountain goes right over the hotel, which is an iconic part of Grenoble. As you walk down to the town, you pass a really cool museum, which is free and also a has a really good view of the town and river. They gave complimentary drink cards, so I really enjoyed having a drink on the roof top. I ate there once and it was amazing. I had bought breakfast stuff since it's like an apartment, so I did not eat breakfast, but it looked good. The staff was very hospitable.

My room was dusty--it looked clean, but I sneezed the whole time. I should have said something, I am sure they would have changed my room, I don't know why I didn't.

The hotel is located in a renovated building that is situated on the cliffside. The access roads are bad, but traversible for most cars. Parking is public and a little chaotic and very crowded, though I had no trouble finding a spot near to the entrance. The inside of the hotel is a bit dark in the hallways to the rooms, and clearly compartmented for fire safety. The room layout is like a small apartment, with matching amenities, which means you can literally live in a room on your own: kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom are all present.

The toilet smelled of urine for the first hour, the room was located on the mountainside which results in a lack of a view. If you can, book a room on the city side, as I'm sure that will guarantee a lovely view over Grenoble. The city itself isn't much to walk around in, though at walking distance regardless. Because the city isn't very special, the price for the room was on the high end in my opinion.

Absolutely stunning views. The telepherique went past our room too. Room felt clean but one of our towels seemed dirty (stained) so we didn’t use it. The room kitchen had all the amenities for cooking, including oil for example. The room also had a washing machine that we used, a small amount of detergent provided by the hotel. Room was air conditioned which was great. Hotel provides a little car that can take you up and down the mountain road, but it is quite a short walk, albeit steep. Plenty of restaurants at the bottom of the mountain and a restaurant on top of the hotel with amazing views. Opens early so you can have a coffee for 2€ in the morning and admire the view, although there is also a coffee machine in the room. Overall hotel feels very modern and comfortable. Completely recommend

Road up the mountain is a bit tight and has a big pothole in a bend so be careful. Parking is quite limited and tight.

The hotel is in a great location. It is quite a way up the hill, so if you have issues walking it may seem daunting. Although, there is a free golf cart shuttle service that will take you up and down from street level. The bed was not comfortable, tbh. But, what it lacked in comfort, the room made up for in darkness and silence. I slept like a log. The apartment was otherwise comfortable and convenient, and the facilities in the hotel are impeccable. However, the restaurant was closed when we wanted to go as there were Christmas and New Year’s parties going on.

Very interesting location. We enjoyed walking up and down the hill, even though it is a bit strenuous, because of the great views over town. The bottom of the hill is right by old town near the bridges over the river. You can also walk from there all the way up to the old Bastille which is amazing. No problems getting a Bolt car pickup and dropoff, for reaching the station, if you have luggage.

Everything was great except (1) on one day the internet did not work very all, on all our devices, even though there was 6 bar WiFi connection we couldn't get through to websites. It worked fine the next day. The other thing is that our bed was jammed against the wall on one side, so that wasn't so great for two people.

Fabulous apartment hotel with an excellent roof top bar. Staff were really friendly and the view is just incredible. Really close to everything in town, but far enough away to be noise free at night. There is also a free buggy service that takes you from the river up the hill to the hotel. Parking outside the hotel was easy. We didn’t haven’t any issues, however, I would probably advise removing valuables from the car as in other areas I saw cars broken into.

Everything was excellent. It wasn’t obvious where reception was (1st floor), but other than that it was really great.
