The staff were very friendly, the bed super comfortable and the room had everything we needed for one nights stay. We planned to eat at the hotel restaurant, but we found out on arrival that it was closed at the weekends. However, we had pizza in the Italian restaurant across the road and it was the best pizza we have ever eaten!! The only downside to our stay was that the price of the breakfast isn’t shown anywhere, so we didn’t have it. Also, upon check in we were made to believe that we were all paid up, but then we checked out we were charged tax, that were weren’t aware of.

A very nice hotel, with a great breakfast and great personal. Everything looked nice and cleaned, and the area was fantastic. We spent only one night here, and kept going south the following day.

The room was really nice, but a bit uncomfortable to go to the toilet on the first floor and sleep on the second floor, even though it was the same room. As a person who tends to to go to the toilet during the night, I had to be careful hehe but nothing major

Even with the transportation close to the hotel, the place is too far from Strasburg Center. It takes time to go back and forth. Some of the people at the reception speak very limited English. So, comunication is difficult. The Internet connection is really bad.

What a lovely welcome by the Hotel Manager, and a surprise to receive the best room in the hotel facing straight onto the Vrijthof stage. So wonderful to have a balcony view, just a pity there was no concert on that night, but we still enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere on the balcony overlooking the marketplace with its cafes and restaurants. We felt special!!! The room was very comfortable, as was the bed, and the bathroom had a lovely big shower in it, and everything was super clean. The decor is an older style, in keeping with the historic hotel, and very tastefully fitted so that you had everything at your fingertips!! We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their breakfast room, so couldn't be happier!!!. Parking was also no issue, as it was next to the hotel. We received assistance with our luggage and there was also a lift to get to our floor. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Perfect location!!!

Can't fault the hotel, everything was just right!!!

Room was very comfortable & a welcome retreat after a long day. Hotel is centrally located with its own car park which was very handy, but there is also a free car park next to the hotel car park which you can also use. Tram stop outside the hotel which is super convenient for the 20 mins journey into the centre of Strasbourg (super easy journey). Had lunch at the hotel which was delicious & the kitchen stayed open to serve me which was so appreciated. Reception staff extremely smiley & courteous & helped with info about getting on the tram. Breakfast good. Would definitely recommend & would stay again.

The only thing was the room was hot - there was no AC, although a cold air fan had been left in my room. I later found out that part of the hotel had been renovated & those rooms had AC. The part of the hotel I stayed in had not yet been renovated & therefore had no AC. Wasn't too bad, but can imagine in the height of the summer it would be pretty hot.

Really good alternative for families with kids as the room we had was quite big, with up to 6 beds available, two bedrooms and cleaning service every day. The price includes breakfast in form of buffet . Next to the hotel backery, pizzeria plus tram station with direct tram connection to Stuttgart. On the way to Stuttgart quite big shopping centre with Auchan, so you can do any additional shopping you need. Parking space in hotel (extra paid but reasonable price) or in the nearest neighbourhood

Nothing particular, maybe a little bit too crowded restaurant during the breakfast time, buffet could have more salads (note we are vegetarian) plus as this hotel is combined from two building (old and new), the communication in the building is a little bit confusing at the beginning. But summing up these are not aspects that would stop us from recommending this place for a stay.

The location off center but conveniently next to the tram line A going to downtown Strasbourg ; the quiet, the cleanliness, the modern design of the room and bathroom, the great water pressure in the shower, the discrete presence of staff, the wonderful fragrance of the Shampoo; the location right downtown Illkirch, next to this suburb's commercial mall.

Flexibility of the personnel. At the begining I booked Classic room without AC. I asked at the reception to change room. Nice lady found one and I moved in.

It is only suggestion-IF you can try to book rooms with AC. They are new and very cosy

Location including parking given traffic congestion in Strasbourg. Access to tramway right in front of hotel. Room (in new wing) was large and comfortable.

Nothing in particular. Breakfast room was very busy, but it was post Christmas so rather normal.

Staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast decent. Room outdated and we had an electric fan only but otherwise fine. Location nears lots of lovely restaurants and easy to get back onto motorway.

Rooms need an upgrade.
