The hope is conveniently located in the city centre, walking distance (less than 5 min) from the tram stop. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. From the hotel one can easily reach every corner of the city by either walking or catching a tram (Place Kleber, Broglie, the Cathedral, etc..).

There isn't anything I dislike. Perhaps, if I may spend some words to tell the management that the room, where the breakfast was served, should be improved a little bit. When it is too crowded, isn't easy to walk around and get your breakfast.

A great location for the train station and old centre - just a few minutes walk from Petit France. The hotel communicated promptly with us about road works and staff helped with very good restaurant recommendations. Rooms had everything you would expect from a standard hotel. The breakfast looked good, and it was nice to have free access to tea, coffee and water to fill bottles.

If I had to pick a negative, I would say that the hotel is a little cramped in design - narrow corridors, lifts and smallish rooms. There's not a lot of space to relax and chill out in a communal space, and little natural light.

Good central location, just a five-minute walk from the city center. The room was nicely designed, and the overall price was quite low for Strasbourg, making it a good value for money.

The staff wasn’t particularly welcoming—we weren’t given any information at check-in and had to ask even basic things like where to park, despite having clearly indicated we were arriving by car. The hotel’s own parking was full, and we were redirected to a partner parking garage two minutes away on foot, but it took quite a long detour to reach by car (possibly due to nearby roadworks). The hotel also appeared to still be under renovation—some corridors had open ceilings with visible wiring.

The staff were very kind and helpful; they gave us suggestions for nice local restaurants upon arrival and very patiently asked about our stay when we were leaving. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony with a super view. Also, our room was very quiet and nice. I liked it very much!

A big point for me for staying in hotels rather than Airbnb is the breakfast, and breakfast here was okay but was very basic and didn't have a lot of options (naturally, even less if you arrive towards the end), and didn't change at all. Also, one time the coffee machine broke during the breakfast, which was a bummer. On the other hand, I didn't like the cleanness of the room; there were quite a lot of stains on the couch and some hairs on the wall in the bathroom. The bed was nice and clean, though. Other than these, I enjoyed my stay.

PARKING: private underground garage. Very small, very narrow. It tends to get full easily, but we were lucky: another guest cancelled last minute. Parking on the streets around: no way. CHECK-IN: easy and quick. STAFF: smiling, friendly and supporting. WIFI/VPN: works. SIZE: appropriate for few days to a week. CLEAN: it looked so. Spotless. Still they have moquette that tends to get dirty. BATHROOM: ok, clean. Funny distribution of the doors made them slam and clash one with the other. QUIET: considering the narrow busy street down the window, it was ok. But if you have to leave the window open for some fresh air, it's far from being a quiet area. No noise from other rooms, however. SERVICES/RESTAURANT/ATTRACTIONS AROUND: you are in the best spot to visit Strasbourg, in our opinion, if you came with your car. Nothing to see from the window, but everything is in a walking distance and you get the vibe of the downtown experience. BREAKFAST: we didn't take it, but you are given free coffee, water and refreshing lemonade at any time in the lobby. Really appreciated.

Accessing the hotel to dump your pieces of luggage and do the checking before parking the vehicle might be tricky if it gets busy. There is very little space to move around and do maneuvers in front and around the hotel. Especially with that amount of pedestrians and cyclists passing by. But that's the old town city center. As mentioned: being in the city center on a narrow street, it tends to be loudly, even at night and if you want window opened: good luck with your earplugs.

Nicely located in the city center, the hotel offers stylish furnished rooms at a fair rate. The breakfast was good, as well as the small coffee and water stations which were always open and for free.

It was very warm in the room (already in mid-March) and there was no good way to cool it down (the ac system was off). We opened the t it took a while to cool the room down. On a smaller note: I ask the reception if it were possible to check-in before 3pm. The person has not even tried to look if the room was available and directly answered me : "not before 3pm". I expect a bit more effort/generosity in a 4* star hotel (especially when having booked several rooms...).

The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk to the city centre very quickly and enjoy the beauty of Strasbourg. Breakfast was good.

The toilet stopped working on our last day after there were problems with it during our last night there. The bathroom is spacious, however there is a simple shower curtain in the shower which kept sticking to us. The bathroom could do with some renovations. Breakfast is served in a very small space, so it gets really crowded and you end up with having nowhere to sit.

The location was perfect, the reception area was cozy and beautiful, the rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable, with daily room service. Overall, it offered excellent value for the price.

Since the building was old, it had double-layered windows to keep the room warmer. However, the space between the windows was damp, causing a musty smell, and there was no view of the outside. The floor was slightly dirty, so our socks turned black after a while, and there were no towel-made slippers provided for indoor use.

Great central location in downtown with easy walking access to sites and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and responsive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had AC (useful on a hot summer day in Strasbourg!).

It would be nice to have better published information on how to find the parking entrance and what is the code without having to phone the hotel in advance. It is on a narrow one way street, so pulling over to run in to get the code is not always an option. The breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular, and on a busy day can be a bit of chaos as other guests rush about grabbing grub. Advice would be to drop the breakfast option and go to a local cafe instead.

Room with 3 beds but we were only 2 persons. So, the room was good. I think for 3 people it would have been little. Anyway our stay was good. Perfect position for reach all the attractions of the town. Really good parking just in a garage just under the hotel. Extra rate for using it. Breakfast reach and various.

Probably lifts are too small and inadequate for the big numbers of rooms of the hotel.
