The staff were very friendly, and I was made to feel very welcome; I liked the style of the hotel - they've managed to modernise it while keeping in touch with the original architecture of the building; the bed was comfortable and I slept well; the shower was strong. Very good location in central Strasbourg, less than 10 minutes on foot from the train station

The television didn't work very well, but that might have been due to the bad weather during my stay. As might be expected from an older building, the floors creak, so I could occasionally hear the noise of my upstairs neighbour moving about. I couldn't find any sockets near the bed. I was there for a work trip, but didn't have a desk/table in the room I could work at

We recently stayed in a corner room and overall had a pleasant experience. The room itself was a good size, offering enough space to relax comfortably. However, the bathroom was quite small, which made it feel a bit cramped. Another minor inconvenience was the lack of a charger or outlet near the large bed — it would have been nice to charge devices more easily overnight. The highlight of our stay was definitely the location — right in the heart of everything! From restaurants and shops to local attractions, everything was just steps away. Our room had two openable windows that provided a lovely view of the bustling streets below. It was a treat to look out and take in the city life, though the street noise at night was noticeable and might be an issue for light sleepers. All in all, while there were a couple of drawbacks, we really loved the location and enjoyed our stay. We’d consider returning, especially for the convenience and atmosphere.

This hotel is AMAZING! Perfect location, just a five minute walk to the cathedral and right next to tons of restaurants and shops. The entry to the hotel has a surprise - a large model of the cathedral made from the same stone. The daytime staff were phenomenal! Very helpful with hotel information and Strasbourg info as well. The hotel offers free coffee, plus cold still and sparkling water. There is a nice lobby with comfortable seating. The stairwell has beautiful stained glass on each landing. The room was not too big, but not too small either. Good storage. Comfortable-sized bathroom. Lovely view from the hotel room. Our room was quiet. AC was great, although it wasn't hot while we were there. We will definitely use this hotel again when we return!

The only minor issue we had was there are no outlets at the head of either side of the bed. Not a big deal, but a little inconvenient.

Amazing hotel. I knew it was in a great location; I didn't realize that the room would be so large and comfortable. Rustic decor, good beds, ample space. Even though it's in the heart of a touristy district, it was quiet at night (and not distractingly noisy during the day, either). Walking distance to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the train station, excellent restaurants, good shopping. Staying here is going to make me mad when I pay more for less in other cities. I will absolutely stay here again.

I wish the rooms had small fridges. And what's with so many hotels these days having showers where you have to really climb in and out of a tall-sided tub? How many tourists fall down in these things? I'm on the short side of average, have mercy on my middle-aged legs.

First of all, the staff members were real pro, funny, smiling, helpful and respectful, they even offered us to choose the room we wanted ! When we arrive at our windows, we saw we were surrounded by restaurants and bars, we were at the first floor and we thought the night would be noisy, but guess what ? We didn't hear anything, the windows were "sound proof" ! The room itself was typical with beautiful architecture, wood style ! Breakfast was amazing, food from everywhere and for everybody, kitchen ladies so nice, charming and polite ! The hotel is in front of everything, easily reachable if you arrive from the train station (just walk 10 minutes) and whatever you need, just ask at the reception, they have the solution !

We had the possibility to stay only 1 night, we have choosen this hotel because it was geographically in the middle of our trip, but next time we need to make a stop over in this area of the world, we will for sure go to this one !

Staff were friendly. In particular, Marie/Mary on reception was very helpful, kind, and full of local knowledge that she was very willing to share when asked. The 'Happy Corner' of free access to juice, coffee, chilled and ambiant, still and sparkling water with cake was very welcome after a day of sightseeing.. The breakfast buffet was very good and convenient with plenty of choice. The staff working there were efficient and friendly. The scrambled eggs were the best hotel scrambled eggs served on a buffet we have ever had as they were obviously cooked in small batches. They have only been bettered by those cooked to individual order in much more expensive hotel's, and not always then. The location was excellent, being mid-way between the railway station, La Petite France, and the Cathedral/Rohan Palace and close to a tram interchange.

The location was perfect, Staff was amazing, so friendly. Twin room was regular size. I liked a hallway a lot, there was an elevator as well but I didn’t use it when I wasn’t exhausted. It’s old style hotel with mainly wood decorations, like floors and etc. In general I would recommend that place.

I think there were some night clubs near the hotel so it was a bit noisy at night. I don’t want to blame anyone, I will just say the fact. On check in day I had a canton(10packs) and + 1 of cigarettes. On the second day when I go out leave the cigarettes in the room. but when I came back instead of 11 there were only a canton left. 1 pack is nothing, when I saw it I had a smile on face, but I lost trust and I was hiding important things after that 😂

Concierge was welcoming and present--very pleasant. Room was spacious by European standards and very comfortable. Windows open if you need fresh air. Bathroom is modern and the facilities all work well. There were three outlets in the room, a real assist for charging electrical devices. Great lighting in the room for reading and all around use. Good storage cupboards by bed. The breakfast buffet was filled every morning with fresh cheeses, eggs, sausage/bacon, fruit, juice, yogurt, cereals, breads, nuts, jellies and jams, teas and coffee. I preferred this buffet over going to any restaurant as the value was good and the food was excellent. Clean hotel. Convenient for historic Strasbourg shops, museums and walking. Five out of five stars! Bravo!!

Lovely old building, beautiful staircase, good free coffee, friendly welcoming staff, amazing location, central to everything, huge bed, windows out onto the interesting streets (we booked deluxe room and it was great value for the extra space and corner aspect). We managed to park at the advised parking and walk to the hotel with a dog and two bags, no issues at all. We had many questions for staff before we arrived and they were fantastically helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. *Drivers? Learn about Strasbourg Crit’air before your trip or ask the staff for advice.

Just be aware, because it is very central there is street noise, which was ok for us but might be hard if you had young children or are sensitive to external noise. Ask for a quiet room if you are worried.

Great location, close to multiple restaurants and shops, and top attractions. A plus that the hotel doesn't use plastic, and let us fill up glass water bottles and bring to the room. That was a great piece of experience that saved all the hustle to buy water. Staff was very nice, and check-in was fast. Discount code to park nearby.

The beds were way too hard and small. Property parking was not available, so had to park near the station, but had a discount code which helped.
