Well located: a 10 min walk from Strasbourg station and another 10 mins to the Cathedral. Friendly staff who fulfilled our room request. Room size OK for a hotel. Interesting 60s decor. Surprisingly quiet for its location - good external soundproofing. Fridge and coffee maker. Good bed, blockout curtains, and wifi. Some complimentary drinks. Good buffet breakfast available. Strasbourg is really a lovely city to see. Would stay again.

Drain in shower was very slow and at constant risk of overflowing. Needs attention. Shower recess a bit grotty in the corners. Relatively minor.

Conveniently located within easy walking distance to central station and to La petite France. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and more so in the breakfast room. Nicely decorated compact room but well equipped with good shelf and hanging storage space. Roomy bathroom with easy to access shower and good storage space. Very good buffet breakfast with good choice of items including freshly pressed orange juice and cakes.

Shower controls hard to operate with wet hands and shower floor was slippery when wet. Glass shelf over the bathroom washhand basin interfering with use of the tap. Basin plug leaked badly.

Easy and short walk to and from the main railway station; a map of the city was provided at the hotel; friendly & helpful staff; spacious lift for people with luggage; room not a bad size; looked onto the street so interesting view - busy in the daytime but quiet at night; delicious breakfast and gluten-free rolls provided as asked; well-located for getting around the canals and into city; perfect for older single lady; was able to leave luggage safely and for free for several hours after checking out

I am a frequent returning client. This hotel's choice is balanced between service, quality, and location. It was not my last visit. I recommended the place to my colleagues, and their feedback was very positive and comparable to my opinion on the balanced advantages.

I am less of a fan of the rooms located in the hotel's extension. They have the advantage of being super silent because they are not exposed to the street and have more spacious bathrooms. Nevertheless, they are also much darker, as the only outside lightning comes from the glazed door, which is often covered by a curtain. It's better not to be claustrophobic.

The room size is perfect for 1 person. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is excellent, only 3 minutes to the Train Station. The Staff is so friendly. Overal was fantastic for me.

My room of staying is number 1 and really closed to the Restaurant/Coffe shop (inside the restaurant). And at night, if the staff need to do their work and puttting all plates and glasses away, please do it a bit earlier or do it a little quieter at night because it was so close to my room and a bit noisy. And I can hear them so well.

The staff were so helpful and friendly.Water or tea/coffee was free. Probably the best breakfast ever,well laid out in a lovely room.So much choice and fresh! The hotel is just around the corner from Petite France and the centre is just a short pleasant 12/15 minute walk.Step out of the station and the hotel is just a few minutes away.

The standard room is small but cosy clean and modern.I couldn’t complain about anything really!!

Amazing hotel with outstanding customer service. The hotel is very clean and fresh, located only a few minutes' walk from the central station and the town center. I arrived early in the morning and couldn't check in as the room wasn't ready. However, the staff were incredibly accommodating. They offered me coffee, water, and a place to change. When I finally checked in, I was delighted to find a chocolate bunny on my bed, as it was Easter weekend. Later that day, I wanted to attend a football match, and one of the staff members, Soraya, went absolutely out of her way to help me book the tickets. If the management of this hotel is reading this review, Soraya deserves a huge pay rise.

The location was great just a few minutes walk to all amenities. The room was very quiet. Staff very helpful. Good aircon.

Room was very small could barely get around the bed. Bit tired could do with an update. Nowhere to park so it was €15 a day even with the hotel discount. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss some days plenty choice others not great.

The hotel was clean with modern features. The sparkling water and detox water in the lobby was a bonus. Breakfast was amazing with many choices of pastries, cereals, fruits, even omelettes and quiche! The staff were very helpful and able to assist us in our travel plans. The location was perfect, a close walk to the train station in one direction and an 10 minute walk to Petite Venice and the Cathedral in the other direction. We were very happy with our 3 night stay at Mercure Strasbourg and would highly recommend it!

Mainly the location as we travelled around the Christmas Markets and Cathedrals to take photos. The room size is great for two adults, shower and toilet facilities are kept clean and tidy. Excellent walking distance back to the hotel, during the evenings after visiting the Christmas markets. Would recommend booking at this location in advance. To have a great Christmas experience with friends and family.
