The hotel is located right outside the railway station which was very convenient for us since we came and left by train. In other cities, this could have been a problem since the areas around railway stations are usually shady, but Strasbourg doesn't seem to share that issue, at least from what we observed on our short stay. Conveniently, there are a lot of stores (fast food places, supermarkets etc) nearby. It was also pretty clean. The breakfast had a very wide selection. The staff were very polite and helpful. Free lemonade and tap water were reserved down at the reception desk, which I thought was pretty cool.

We were a bit cramped in the room. Other than that, we were very satisfied by the hotel.

Excellent location with easy access to train & tram system; room exactly as pictured, spotlessly clean & made up each day by housekeeping; facilities included more than expected for a budget hotel (en-suite with shower, multiple well-placed electrical sockets, small shelving unit & hanging area for clothes, hairdryer, soap/shampoo, adjustable heating); reception staff really friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble.

The area around the hotel is not the safest (in my experience quite typical for a city train station), but the hotel itself feels safe inside. Hotel room doors not soundproof; easy to be woken by other guests in hallway. Television (French channels) does not have facility for subtitles in any language other than French.

We liked how close it was to the station…literally across the street. We liked how close it was to the center. We liked that they offered a room for our family of 5 so that we did not have to get two separate rooms. We also liked that they have a luggage storage on sight. We appreciated that they had a machine to buy coffee from in the lobby.

We stayed for two night and three days and our a/c stopped working the second night. The breakfast is extra. The cleaners come in to do your bed but do not switch sheets nor give you new towels. Our toilet paper did get replaced the first day but second day we didnt get a new roll.

Amazing location right in front of the strasbourg main train station, within walking distance there. The wifi was strong, and the bed was really thick and comfortable. My kid enjoyed the bunk bed especially, and each of us had direct access to a power socket. The window was able to open to bring the fresh cool air in. It was also within easy walking distance of the old town and the trams, and thus makes it a very good staging ground for trips to the city, and also within the region. The breakfast was of a great selection, and it was all you could eat for 9,9 euros.

Perhaps the only thing that annoyed me was the smallness of the shower? IT makes you open the doors outwards, which wets the whole floor and the floor towel, making it a very cold experience. Pro tip - put the towel outside of the toilet and let the toilet floor dry up by itself. Oh, they also charge half price for my kid at breakfast, who is only 5 years old and barely ate anything.

Great location, close to train station and easy walk or tram to centre. We had a family room which felt spacious despite 4 beds in one room. nice windows overlooking square. We didn't get the breakfast as we had to leave early, but it looked like good value for money given other breakfast formulas we had seen in cafes. clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Warm and welcoming lobby and friendly staff.

Nothing, although we went to the Ibis hotel next door, first, not realising there was also an ibis budget which we were booked into.

The breakfast included (a well-assorted one and a special thanks for this), location and general commodities are really good for the price. You can take tram and buses easily to everywhere and it's close to all the main touristic places and restaurants, especially in the Petite France.

There is no furniture to keep some personal things, like a small wardrobe or even a drawer chest. About the cleaning, just the towels and toilet paper are replaced, including the thrash can. But for a short stay it's not a big problem.

Excellent location right opposite the train station. Perfect for our travel needs. Basic facilities but very clean and comfortable. The curtains were blackout which is great.. Just be aware there are no tea/coffee facilities but you can ask for a kettle, I believe. There are plenty of cafés and shops nearby including an incredible award-winning patisserie about two minutes walk away. We used that for breakfast rather than hotel breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of that. The hotel reception staff were brilliant and helpful. We left our luggage as we were too early to check in when we arrived. All quick and easy. They also provided us with a city map. Very happy with this hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

My expectations were met as it was made clear on booking that this was a basic hotel. Therefore I didn't think there were any problems.

Right by the mai train station, bus and tram stops. Nearby restaurants and shops. The staff was nice and helpful. The people dealing with the breakfast room were so nice and they were harking so hard to make tables clean and ready and providing new trays of baked goods as quickly as possible.

Breakfast room way too small and crowded, people had to queue for breakfast.

Very good location on the railway station square. Nearby lots of transports (trams, buses). Close to the city center. Good bathroom with a space for cosmetics. Comfortable bed. Rather good breakfast

Very small room. It is small even for one person with a small bag. I f you have a big bag, there is no space to keep it. No fridge

Right in front of Gare de Strasbourg, Booked a room for a family of 5 from Dec 22-24, 2024. Staff are very nice and friendly. very accommodating. Room met our expectations, decent size, bunkbed was nice and comfy, other beds were also comfy. We also have a nice view from our room of Gare de strasbourg and the plaza. Also the price was reasonable and the best part we have free breakfast
