This was the largest and most "corporate" hotel we stayed in during a two-week trip to Europe, but nevertheless, it was clean and comfortable. It faces the Strasbourg train station across a park-like plaza and takes less than five minutes to reach by foot for travellers arriving by rail, even with suitcases in hand. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. We were able to walk into the heart of Strasbourg in only ten minutes and had our choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner in La Petite France. It is only a slightly longer walk to reach the Strasbourg Cathedral. There is a dedicated bus line leaving and returning to the train station from the European Parliament building, one of the primary sights we wanted to see, so the location could not have been more convenient for us in any respect.

Perfect location, with all main attractions within walking distance and the train station right in front of the hotel. There are dining options as well as grocery stores around. No fuss luggage storage facilities. Very friendly and professional reception staff available 24/7. While there is not huge breakfast variety, everything was of very good quality and delicious and made for a great start of day. Good spacious lobby that didn’t make it feel crowded. Spotless room that was cleaned daily. Will be my number one pick whenever I visit Strasbourg again.

The place was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and wiling to help. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was varied and fresh. Overall we had a great stay.

There was no mini bar in the room nor fridge. The parking instructions were misleading. On their site it says parking is 15 euro per day but we actually paid 30 a day that is because the parking lot has 2 entrances one is short period(court duree) on which we entered, because we didn’t pay attention that there are 2 parking blocks. Short period and long period….

The location was only 10 minutes walk from town centre, but just a few minutes walk from the train station which greatly suited us.

Needs some updating? All hotels really need more than two plugs and really expect nowadays to have usb points, or a plug bedside, rather than by the door or underneath a desk. The breakfast was just okay. We were led to believe breakfast was very good, but the hot choice was either a hard boiled eggs or scrambled every day with hot dog type sausage. Nothing prepared to order, no choice. Okay if you just want continental option, but all pretty basic compared to German hotels.

I was a Bit apprehensive about booking here after I read previous reviews but due to location I went for it, and so glad I did! It was fabulous! The staff were so nice and helpful and friendly. We booked the cheapest room and on arrival we were Upgraded to a bigger and newly renovated room and it was very comfortable and spotless clean! I was ill so decided to sleep in but my niece, who I was traveling with, she ate the breakfast and said it was fabulous! The room got a little hot at night but the French balcony was a savior of fresh air (the heat can also be turned down on the thermostat in the room). Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, it was only a 2 minute walk a cross the road from the main station and 15 minutes walk to everything else you might want to see in the center. We loved that we could stay until 12:00 too and when we were too cold outside we came back to chill out in their common area for a few hours before our train left, even tho we had already checked out. Would definitely stay here again!

Arriving by train made this the perfect hotel location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the good price we paid the rooms were good. The included breakfast was really good. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit quickly from our location. Very happy bunch of travelers.

If I had to be picky a kettle in the room would have been nice. The showers in the standard rooms could do with being larger. It was almost impossible to turn around or bend over without knocking the on off switch feather on or off or hotter.

The Hotel is very convenient for the railways station (we arrived by train). Whilst it is quite a walk from the centre of the town, the tram network also leaves from the train station ... again very convenient. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was as good as it always is. We have stayed here before on a number of occasions - and will doubtless do so again !

The tea/coffee facilities in the room included pottery beakers (without handles) rather than mugs or cups. When filled with boiling/very hot water for tea or coffee, these are really not safe. We mentioned this to reception.

WOW! What a wonderful establishment. We had the expected 200m walk from the station and met an exceptional receptionist Gabriel who was able to expertly convey so much information about the hotel and the town. I can't compliment her enough. Without even asking, Gabriel found us another room as we arrived early and this was an upgrade to an spectacularly huge room. This is the company's policy I found out later. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, who had been really well trained in superb customer service. This extended also to the staff in the breakfast resturant (the food was really tasty and plentiful and replenished right up until the end of service. Would love to return to Strasburg and stay here again.

Excellent location in terms of convenience - 2 minutes walk from Central train station. Great for doing day trips by train. Decent breakfast. The hotel was in the middle of a renovation. It looked a little chaotic. However, they tried to keep the premises clean and dust free.

Had been traveling for a while by the time I got to Strasbourg. Needed a little rest before going to the next stop. Went to front desk and asked for an extension for 3 more nights. Was given a rediculiously high price. Ended up making paid reservation online for the extra days, 40% less than what the hotel quoted. When I informed the front desk, she appeared to be upset. She said I should have booked through front desk directly as they now have to pay a fee to the online website I booked through. Wish breakfast had some fish.

Our room on 4th floor at the back of the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had very good selection. Staff seemed attentive and efficient. Opposite station and short walk to town centre

I haven't reflected this in the rating but the hotel had tried to take a prepayment the day before our arrival and although it was a valid card the payment was rejected and I received an email asking me to update my credit card and warned failure to do so could result in cancellation. Fortunately although I was travelling I did pick up the message and put an alternative card in and advised them to re-try. I didn't get a response until that evening to confirm everything was ok but that had caused concern for me that whole day. I saw other reviews with similar experiences. I would prefer they tried the initial card earlier to allow time to resolve any issues and responded quicker to my message to confirm all was OK and avoid concern that the booking would be cancelled
