What didn't I like? The location was possibly the best location in Strasbourg. I was a bit worried because I was driving, but they gave instructions to my travel companion and she met me and got me to the hotel, where they parked the car. The hotel is located on the water - literally. It is built over a few small rivers. My room was really big and overlooked the water which meant I could sleep with the window open and hear the sound of the water rushing below. The staff was possibly the nicest I've ever met. Couldn't do enough. The bar was lovely and the outside seating was great. The breakfast was fantastic. Strasbourg may be my favorite city in France, and this is in my top 5 favorite hotels I've ever stayed in.

I can't think of anything. The only thing we didn't try was the restaurant, but I'm sure it was great. Getting there was a little complicated? But the staff made it easy so...

Fatya completely made our stay. We have never experienced such genuine warmth and kindness. Our daughter Olive has autism and completely 'imprinted' on Fatya who was utterly delightful with her, letting Olive 'help' her with her work and showing her around the hotel. Every time we returned back to the hotel, Fatya would give Olive a big hug and ask her what she'd been up to and they are now lifelong friends! Our daughter cried all the way home - she was devastated to leave. The staff at this hotel are second to none, it made our entire weekend so memorable and the attention to detail is phenomenal.

The very corporate looking outside of the hotel which is a shame because it is in such a beautiful location and the team who run it are so wonderful.

We stayed here toward the end of our France and Switzerland tour, so had relatively low expectations, but the hotel was excellent in almost every aspect. Room size was great. We may have had two of the best locations in the building, overlooking the water. Modern renovations, great shower, nice size cupboards. Very helpful staff. I personally lucked out because one of the pillows they had was seriously good and possibly my new go to, if i can get a couple delivered to the US. Breakfast was excellent, on a gorgeous terrace location. Location is perfect for walking to all the shops and restaurants. We did not get to taste the main restaurant experience, a little pricey for our budget at the end of the vacation and with 3 small children.

The only suggestion I can come up with is that the toilet door could have a lock of some kind. My granddaughter is a 'visitor' to us and it was a little nerve wracking trying to keep her out whilst mother nature called. Not a biggie. For other travelers - be attentive to the message the hotel send to get you access through the pedestrian streets if you have a car. It is a little tough to get to initially.

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. It is FABULOUS. Lovely, warm, friendly staff. Unbeatable location, in the middle of old Strasbourg. We had a gorgeous room, wheelchair accessible, with the lovely wheelchair accessible bathroom, the most important thing for me, as a wheelchair user. Now, it is in the area of the city that is paved with cobblestones, so it can be a bit rough on the wheelchair, but that's not the fault of the hotel. I've already recommended this to my two brothers, who will be travelling with their wives or families in due course. This place is GORGEOUS.

There was nothing I didn't like. Top marks! And lovely staff.

Lovely hotel in a great central location. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a 10-12 minute walk from the Strasbourg train station. It was flat and doable with luggage and easy to find this hotel. The staff can hold your luggage while you explore. The hotel has a fridge and the room is comfortable.

Late check in. I wish it was 2pm instead of 4pm. We were very tired and wanted to take a nap after waking up early to catch the train to get here. They said our room wasn’t ready to check in early but they were allowing other guests to check in early.

Wonderful hotel in a superb location. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff throughout was absolutely first rate. Our room was contemporary and nicely decorated. Breakfast was first rate with table service during the week (when the hotel was quieter). Hotel parking directly opposite the front door is extremely convenient.

This is truly first-world complaining, but there were strangely no hooks (at least in our room) to hang up jackets near the entrance. There was nowhere in the separate bedroom to lay clothes that you might want to wear again. none of the above negatively affected our stay though!

The staff, amenities and well appointed rooms were second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. Communication was excellent during booking process and our stay. Hotel is beautiful and the views are unsurpassed. Very comfortable beds & high end toiletries and linens. Fantastic stay.

Hotel restaurant prices high compared to most restaurants nearby

The staff was great; always friendly and polite, and willing to help. The facilities of the hotel are very nice and the location can't be beaten! The SPA is a nice addition for a quick relaxing retreat.

While the rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable, and generally in very good conditions, they're not 5-start hotel level. They feel very dated in all aspects: ammenities, furniture, decoration, fixtures and TVs.

Excellent location to walk all around old Strasbourg. Room was very comfortable despite the shower head / light setup.

The rain shower / shower set up just doesnt work. The main rain shower head is too low in pressure and the hand held is too low and you can't adjust he height. The lights are a weird set up, have to cycle through a lot of sequences to turn the bathroom light on.

Staff service was excellent. Location is good for exploring the town. Rooms are spacious for European standards but a little dated. I particularly liked the toiletries in the room.

The roads to the hotels were closed during the Christmas markets season and we had to lug the luggages and a young child over cobbled stones looking for the hotel. I wished there was a note to tell me that before booking. The staff did send me a note after I booked, which I appreciated but it was non refundable booking so nothing I can do about it. However, the staff service was immaculate.
