Staff service was excellent. Location is good for exploring the town. Rooms are spacious for European standards but a little dated. I particularly liked the toiletries in the room.

The roads to the hotels were closed during the Christmas markets season and we had to lug the luggages and a young child over cobbled stones looking for the hotel. I wished there was a note to tell me that before booking. The staff did send me a note after I booked, which I appreciated but it was non refundable booking so nothing I can do about it. However, the staff service was immaculate.

The hotel has an amazing location, probably the best to explore Strasbourg by foot. It has a very nice terasse, too to enjoy meals or drinks and the Spa also has faboulous views. I can also highly recommend the massages. The room was nice, and good size for such a location.

The hotel offers parking but at a cost of 40 Euro a night which I found to be too expensive. There is a parking place 8 minutes walking distance away that cost 12 Euro per 24 hours.

This hotel had two properties diagonally across the street from one another. We were at the slightly larger/newer property and our room on the 3rd floor (accessible by elevator) was quite large. There were two windows with lovely views over neighboring rooftops, and plenty of electrical lights as well. We were able to adjust the room temperature. The room was nicely decorated in a sort of art deco style. We had a comfy queen-size bed, a small seating area with two low chairs and a table, and a desk and chair. There was a flatscreen TV on the wall. There were several outlets, but our converters didn't fit in all of them so I unplugged the floor lamp and used its outlet. The bathroom was divided into two rooms. Immediately next to the bed was the room with the shower and 2 sinks! Off the entryway was the room with the toilet. It was a tad annoying to walk between the two, but not a deal breaker. We were given two free bottles of water each day and also had access to a mini fridge. I think there was a coffee/tea maker but we never used it. Our room was cleaned daily and kept in great shape. This hotel is in an excellent, very scenic location. We are city people used to walking and walked to the hotel from the train station. We were able to walk to the Cathedral, the Alsatian Museum, the Museum of Decorative Arts, and even all the way to Neustadt (although that was a bit far). We stayed three nights and had a lovely time; I would definitely stay here again. The hotel served breakfast for an additional fee, but we never took advantage of that. We did, however, stop at the bar one night to pick up beverages to take to our room. The staff were always very friendly and courteous.

Other than having two rooms for the bathroom, I think the only thing I found a bit frustrating was the water temperature in the shower, which tended to fluctuate wildly between hot and cold. It was still something I could live with (these are old buildings after all), but if I had a small child I'd want to supervise filling the tub and stand nearby for showers, just to make sure everything was okay. Again, not a deal breaker, just something to keep an eye on.

The water under the hotel was really amazing. Do check out the canal fairy and canal gate opening for it to pass through. The restaurant was excellent. The town is more amazing in the early evening than in the morning. Bed was realy good. View from the window was stunning. Staff really friendly. Great coffee!

We were upgraded to the top floor which had amazing views but anoying little windows to open. No plugs by any mirrors. The hair dryer is no good. The shower in the bath to be handled manually, no over the head shower. No creamer for our coffee. Please add more mirrors so we can see and fix our outfit for the day

A luxurious hotel in a fabulous position in Petit France. The room was extremely comfortable. Parking was available opposite the hotel and the car was easily accessible during the stay. Sadly their restaurant was closed but we made use of the beautiful terrace for night-caps. where the staff were very attentive.

The staff were clearly trained to be attentive but at times this was a little overpowering, for example, jumping in to cut a slice off a loaf of bread at breakfast. There was confusion when we arrived about where the car would be taken to by the lobby staff. Considering that the restaurant was closed would have expected more than a list of addresses for alternative places to eat.

The location cannot be bettered. The breakfast was excellent. If you can afford it, the tasting menu for dinner is a great experience. There are design faults that don’t really matter, like the layout of the suites with toilet distant from bedroom and bathroom, which can be forgiven; and room numbering in the carpets outside rooms which no longer works. However would go back!

Price of extras including drinks in the bar are very high, but maybe this is the same in other hotels.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! We visited during the xmas markets - the location, xmas decorations, xmas atmosphere and view were amazing!!! All staff were very friendly. Spa - free for guests was great!

Unfortunately there was miscommunication with the booked dates for our stay. I missed the cancellation rules (buried in a lengthy 3 page email from the hotel!) and the hotel took it upon themselves to charge the room amount using cc details on booking.com. My email to the hotel was "enquiring" about the possibility for booking one extra night, the hotel replied "confirmed" the extra night, hence the mix up. I didn't agree nor confirm the extra night. This was very unfortunate as all other communication with the hotel via the booking.com app was very efficient. This made an already expensive hotel stay, even more expensive!

The location is amazing, I don't think there is a better one in Strasbourg. Walking distance from everything that makes this city beautiful. Surrounded by river canals, historic buildings, flowers, and old walkways full of restaurants and shops. Really fairytale-like. Rooms are so well designed, spacious, and super clean. There is an ironing board with iron, a coffee machine with good coffee, a hair dryer... The bed was super comfortable, and everything smelled so clean.

Breakfast isn't included in the price. Check-in is at 16 h (4 PM), that's a bit late. The parking is too expensive, and outside, but there is a nice public garage nearby, full of cameras, feels safe.

The room was very spacious and the air conditioning was terrific since it was so hot outside. The room was complete with dog beds and bowls, which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was nice, even on a hot day.

I had requested a balcony room, and had a chat via booking.com with the hotel prior, and it seemed we were going to get a balcony room. But when we arrived they said they didn't have any left. However, the balcony rooms were adjacent to our room and it only appeared that one of them was booked. Furthermore, the view outside of our room must have been the worst the hotel had to offer; it was of the rooftop next door and we really couldn't see anything scenic at all. It was very disappointing since the price of the rooms are high. I understand if no balcony rooms were available at our price point, but it would have been nice to at least have a view of something out the window. As a first time guest the hotel might had made more of an effort. We will not stay here again.

It was a million star experience!!!! The Hotel is absolutely magnificent. The location beyond excellent, and the room we had the one bedroom suite had the most amazing view from the front the river and the city and the rear the river . Just an overall exceptional experience. The staff , polite , professional, kind beyond imagination.
