Excellent continental breakfast served in a lovely conservatory. Great ,spacious room with quirky musical themed decoration. We were there over a French bank holiday so the area was very quiet and felt very safe. Noisier after the bank holiday but not intrusive. The property was ideally situated for us as we were visiting family in Hellemes. Easy access to Lille centre on the metro. The hosts were very nice and understood our very limited French .

Location 4 stops from the main railway station on the metro 1 yellow line. Safe local area of Hellemmes , area of Lille. Breakfast was worth the extra , fresh every day. The shared kitchen was a bonus for cooking up a light dinner. The 54 restaurant close by is well worth a visit. Would not hesitate returning to enjoy again the hospitality of this French B & B .
