The property was spacious, well appointed and had things that a traveller appreciates eg kettle, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board. It is very well-situated within the old district of Lyon. It is very close to many attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are spectacular views of Lyon from the neighbourhood.

The street this apartment is on is extremely steep. Many people would not be able to negotiate the steep incline especially with luggage. My taxi driver found the area difficult to enter and my uber driver forced me to walk to another location nearby. Servicing of the room was inconsistent. On my last day towels were replaced but garbage not emptied. I ran out of toilet paper.

THE BALCONY!!!! What a beautiful view! Wonderfully located near the funicular. The decoration is stylish but bonkers.

It looks grand but is a little basic in parts. There is a kitchenette but not much equipment, so don't think of it as an appartment. It needs a little more maintenance. The aircon on the upper floor didn't really work. It was hot when we stayed and really hard to sleep. There's a mismatch between stylish design and decor, and the quality of the fixtures e.g. the very stylish toilet - yhe (cheap) toilet seat was loose and there was nowhere to hang the hand towel.

I loved the suite we stayed at. Great room with wonderful amenities: a full fridge, microwave and a full size jacuzzi.

I didn’t like the location -the cab wouldn’t take us all the way up and we had to hike with our luggage at 10pm at night. I didn’t like that there’s no reception desk and the email/phone calls were not responded promptly enough.

Great location in old Lyon and for Les nuits de fourviere. Very spacious and modern - the double jacuzzi was unexpected and very good

the name is a little misleading

The bed was good. You have to travel light because the charm of the surrounding is many walking streets.

The distance from a parking place was to long. And uphill . We didn’t get enough information about how to get there. Partly closed streets for cars. Not precise descriptions when we called to find out.

Great location in old Lyon near public transport. Note it is up a steep hill so not great if you have limited mobility

The code to enter the room did not work. Bathroom does not have a door!!! Sink drain water poorly. Breakfast was not what you expect. Table in the room too small for eating

only one thing , the attendant Alexis is a very helpful and pleasant person . He is the receptionist , bell boy , manager , travel agent , all rolled into one as there is no other staff

it’s a very small ne very old structure where out of seven , some rooms have been made barely habitable and others are still under renovation . sleeping arrangement in on ground level , and bathroom has been made artificially creating a mezzanine level . you have to climb 15 steps to access and it is quite unsafe also . you bang your head on roof while going up and down . There’s a good chance of falling down . apart from tea and coffee maker in the room , there’s no arrangement for any food . it seems that booking.com has done no survey of the facility before giving it a score of 8.9 . I intend to take up with them for a refund .
