Beautiful period townhouse hotel with immense charm. Great service from very friendly and efficient multi-lingual staff. Proximity both to the train station and to the enchanting city centre makes it perfect for travellers without a car. Small but delightful swimming pool, jacuzzi and sun deck, which not many other guests seemed to use, particularly during the hours 11am-3pm. Beautiful mature courtyard gardens where you can drink & dine

Room air conditioning worked very well but appeared to be on a timer so had to be turned on again every so often. Perhaps a minor point as there was also the option of having the beautiful French doors open, but as we were there during a particularly hot spell, the air conditioning was pretty much essential.

The Hotel is really beautiful with its "Grandeur Charme", the green gardens and the modern rooms, we really enjoyed the cool rooms and the excellent shower during the hot summer days! Also the bed was among the best we experienced in France! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Finding the parking garage was very tricky as it is located inside the restricted inner city area. You have to arrive at a certain "gate" where the hotel can then remotely open it. We ended up at another gate and had quite some trouble to get in and had to drive wildly through tram lines and pedestrian zones to get to the garage. Make sure you ask the hotel for a parking slot and an according detailed arrival guide some days in advance! Otherwise it's madness...

The staff were great, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was cleaned to a consistently very high standard. The reception was efficiently run and we never had to wait to be seen. The room was over looking the pool and garden area which was light with a nice outlook. Room 313.

The garage location is quick walk from the main reception but access from the road is quite difficult due to the security bollards. A security code access would have made it so much easier. This is the only issue we had with the hotel throughout our stay. In addition if you intend to hire a car a small car would be advisable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. A unique old building in a great location near the centre of town, very sympathetically modernised to provide comfortable accommodation. The room and bathroom were spotless and everything worked. The shower/bathroom was well designed and a great use of limited space. The pool area and bar/restaurant terrace were very pleasant. It was hard to appreciate that you were in the heart of the city. The hotel restaurant was also good and well priced (we ate on the terrace).

The room was not huge but that was to be expected in an old town centre hotel. It was perfectly adequate unless you wanted to spend a lot of time in your room (which we didn't!) If you need to spend more time in the hotel, the public spaces (the lounge and the terraces) are very comfortable

On the inside this hotel was fabulous. The room was large and comfortable and there was a good shower. The bar area was big and well-decorated and there was a nice terrace as well. The reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly.

On the outside you would never guess this was so nice inside. The hotel's exterior and the street and area it is in were dirty and downbeat and I didn't feel totally comfortable outside at night. The hotel advertises a lift but there is a whole flight of stairs to climb to get up to the entrance. The breakfast is 22 EUR per person for a small buffet. There is much better value to be had in the many restaurants in town. As with so many hotels these days, despite a large room there was no dressing table.

Hotel is very lovely, in a busy part of Montpellier, loads of restaurants and a short walk to all the main spots of interest. Train station and all trams a very short walk from front door. Parking available, and you need it as there’s none on the streets, but you have to ring to get the bollards dropped and the gates open. Staff very helpful and friendly, outside eating area delightful, for lunch, we ate elsewhere for dinner as sight seeing around Nîmes a short train ride away. Thoroughly recommend

Not much to be fair, we all loved the hotel and would definitely come back again if in the area. Only downside is if you come by car the streets in Montpellier are very busy, there’s tram lines everywhere in the middle of the street, and people just wander wherever they want, but that’s not the hotels fault at all. However trains and trams are just around the corner so public transport links are excellent

Nice comfortable room, clean and quiet. Very central location, ideal for exploring the city. Convenient parking just around the corner but connected to the pool area.

Quite expensive €22 breakfast buffet. We opted for the "express" breakfast at €9, which was a hot drink, bread or patisserie, and fruit juice. This was fine and just what we wanted, but the staff usually struggled to remember to bring everything that was ordered. We were asked to eat in the lobby or pool area, so they often had to make several trips to the kitchen to bring everything, so not really "express" at all.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great location right in the middle of Montpellier. Beautiful building with impressive old elevator. Nice outdoor space in the courtyard. Pool and underground car parking were a bonus. We stayed as a family in two connected double rooms (nbs. 116/117). The rooms are spacious, very clean and well equipped. They are connected via a small corridor/landing. This area and the rooms themselves are behind card access doors. Our kids locked themselves out by leaving both cards behind in their room but staff were very helpful letting us in again. During the night, we propped open the doors to both rooms with shoes.

The hotel was very easy to get to and close to the city centre. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Room and services for it were very clean and good. Communication before and after the stay were good as well. Happy to return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel bar was not staffed at times; at one point we had to wait 30 min to to get someone from somewhere to order and then I took another 15 min for 2 simple glasses of red wine.

Clean, safe, confortable, personal was amazing, helpful, pool was great. Building was beautiful as well as garden inside.

They didn’t have mini fridge, like mini bar, even though personal was helpful, it will be perfect if we could keep drinks cold in mini fridge. Also, just recomendation, breakfast was great, but a little bit more options would be amazing.
