Interesting building with very tasteful rooms in a great quiet spot that feels right into nature (although there is a village/housing right next to it on the other side). There were birds (ao a kingfisher!) and beavers to watch. Great hosts that told us about the interesting history of the building and renovation.

It can be a bit noisy (thin walls/floors) if you are unlucky with the other guests. We had some people coming home late above us which could be heard.

A beautiful place to stay, so tranquil and an amazing location to enjoy the extensive natural habitat. It was a perfect stop for our cycle of La Velo Francette. The owner Tim was really friendly. He has lovingly restored an Old Mill and it was a joy to stay there. I can highly recommend a stay there

Sublime situation, clean, comfortable room with unsurpassed views. Add to that the warn welcome; attention to detail by Tim and Grant and the excellent breakfast taken on the terrace and you have the perfect stay. We have no hesitation in awarding five stars. It is nice to have a host who is clearly invested in his quests and proud of the working mill that he shares with you.

That we didn't have more time to spend there. That we could only provide one bottle of wine to share with Sheila (Tim's mum) as we sat on the terrace on a balmy evening putting the world to right and making true friends.

An excellent, quiet location on the banks of the river. The water mill is being lovingly restored and it's fascinating to see the original wheels working. The rooms are very well appointed upstairs with views over the river. There is a good choice of accommodation, all of which are well furnished and decorated in a modern style. There was a small fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine in the room. The shower was excellent and the beds comfortable. We arrived early evening and as the local village did not have anywhere to eat, we were offered a choice of frozen dinners to microwave in our room, which we thought was a great addition to the facilities. The host was friendly and happy to show guests the workings of the mill, which was very interesting as there would be very few mills of this kind that would be available for a holiday stay.

An unusual but fascinating building in a converted watermill which has been restored and is now in use. (when there is enough flow in the river!!). Very comfortable en suite room with an excellent breakfast and ready meals and ice creams to buy and eat in or on the terrace.

Road works - route impasse - made the property difficult to find!

This is a beautiful historic property. The owner treated it with so much respect during its restoration, which is evident even when you first pull up. 10/10 for location, staff, breakfast, etc. The owner was so kind to us. It was a wonderful stay and if you take advantage of it, be sure to ask the owner about how he came to run the property.

Loved the location with the river and sluices. Loved Tim’s enthusiasm for his projects and the work that he still has to do. Great idea to have frozen meals that tired cyclists can use to save a long evening ride to a restaurant. And breakfast on the terrace listening to the frogs was very good

The enviroment was stunning. Opening the windows in the morning and looking out over the water. Breathtaking. The host was very passionate about the mill and it's restoration. The room was impeccable. It's a old building. It breathes charm. The breakfast was simple but plentiful.
