Location, Staff and Room were all excellent. Staff was very lovely and helpful to us, arriving with a rental car and baby! Thank you to Adrian - I wish every hotel had someone as warm, welcoming and helpful as Adrian. Additionally, the woman at checkout was also unusually nice and helpful - merci Margot. Location is EXCELLENT - overlooking the river and right at the base of the pieton walking area of the old city. Room looked newly renovated, excellent air conditioning and quiet at night (our room was on the courtyard). Note: we had the Suite with jacuzzi tub, salon and sauna. While we didn't have time to use the sauna, the suite and bathroom were very modern and surprisingly spacious, especially for a hotel in France! 100% Recommend - above all for the perfect location and the excellent staff. Note: for anyone with a rental car - parking is right next door in a parking structure. We pulled off in the side street next to the Hotel to unload and it was super easy parking - 10 euro/day with a hotel voucher.

Great location, wonderful staff, nice big room with a VERY comfortable bed. I loved that there was a bed and dog bowl in the room for our dog at check in - lovely touch.

The AC didn’t work which on a very hot evening was uncomfortable so we had to get our own fan to cool down. The swing chair in the room is awful. Very stained and hits the wall. Sadly our bathroom wasn’t as clean as we expect. The toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned and there were hairs in the bath that certainly weren’t ours. To top it all off there was no plug for the bath so couldn’t use it anyway even had it been cleaned.

We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet. The rooms at the front over looking the Loire river were on a main road so although you have a view there is traffic noise. The hotel was located close to the old quarter of Orleans and shops which was very convenient. Breakfast were excellent with good choice.

They didn’t have their own car park. You had to use a multi storey car park close by which was inconvenient and charges applied of 10 euro every 24hrs. It was a spa hotel but we didn’t use these facilities.

The staff and management are fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Good breakfast to start the day.well.

The bathroom was a bit strange. Not being fully separated from the bedroom was embarrassing from a noise perspective. The designer tried to be too clever by half.

I can understand that two points may be viewed as negative. The road in front is noisy and can trouble some people if the get a room with the Loire view. Our room was on the third floor and the noise was not too bad. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature was set to 24 .. outside was 32 Celsius and it was ok for us, but some people can suffer the heat.

Great location on the river front, very nicely decorated, lovely room and very comfortable bed. The staff were excellent, all very helpful and friendly, even took our bags to our room when we checked in.

Would have been nice to have had a restaurant on site for evening meals as an option. There is a room service menu but this is obviously microwave style dishes. The bar food was fine but also pre-prepared. Definitely suggest eating out.

The hotel is on the banks of the Loire, close to the old centre and a brisk 6-minute walk to the breathtakingly beautiful medieval cathedral and the grand mansions that contrast with the smaller but still handsome working-class houses of the old town. My 2nd-floor double room gave me fine views of the nearby bridge and was well-appointed with stylish lighting; practical bathroom (shower; no bath) and toilet; kettle and teabags (including fruit teas), coffee-pod machine (tastes staler than instant coffee). Cycle parking, in a big, locked garage about 30m away, was excellent. They were capped when a personal fiasco was averted, thanks to the tireless help of the receptionist on duty at the time. The French are often helpful to people in distress: Marin went further even than most.

It’s a spa hotel but the Haman was out of order (a previous user had broken the door). The jacuzzi never heated up despite efforts from a helpful manager. The sauna was perfect. However, one expects a full spa given the room prices or compensation.

Excellent location, walking distance to all main sites and stores, parking garage just behind the hotel ( still some carrying of lugage requireed down the stairs), nice view on the Loire. Our room had three large windows which openened (also 1 in the bathroom), which allowed for great airing. As our suite was on the main street, a bit of traffic. Recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful. We loved every minute of our sadly short stay. The room was fantastic with a glorious view of the river. The staff went above and beyond to assist us including finding out where we could buy a light fitting like they had in their dining room. The location so convenient for walking to all the wonderful sights.

We had private car parking. Our second room was very good after being upgraded from our original room, 107, which was 'designer black' and had faults with the plumbing in the bathroom.

The first room 107 which was very dark because of the black theme throughout. The faulty plumbing was very disappointing.
