Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good size rooms. Clean. Hot water in shower. Nice to have breakfast included, which was good. Lovely surroundings from the back of the hostel.

Pillow was very flat but ok. Shelf would be helpful by top bunk. The other top bunk in the room had one, mine didn't. The area from metro stalingrad was not great. Worth noting that you can take metro to ricquet and the walk from there is a little more busy, so a better option as a female alone at night.

The room was very spacious, equipped with a/c, bathroom and shower room, and a balcony with table and chairs. Bed was comfortable but the pillow was a bit too small for me. Big locker for the belongings. The included breakfast was minimal but good, bread and viennoiserie, cornflakes juice and coffee. Big plus the tap water dispenser on the floor.

The only downside was the shower, it was clean and good water pressure, unfortunately you can’t control the temperature. I came in June and water was really warm, perfect for winter temperatures tho.

rooms are big and beds are really comfortable! I had a great stay in our 4 people dorm. Breakfast was enough to start a day. They have even soy milk! Only last day the croissants wasn't fresh but that's okay. Toilets were clean, had soap and papers/wipes. General atmosphere and cleanliness was perfect

The usb port beside my bed wasn't working :( also it's not hostel's fault but it was so hard to sleep with when someone snoring :D also especially at weekends there's big groups of people outside hostel and make "GREAT" noise. After 25.000 steps in Paris I didn't hear them after some time :))

for a hostel in Paris everything is quite good in a room for 4 people, private shower. toilet in the corridor, additionally upon check-in they take 5€ tax, breakfast is surprisingly good, I have not had such in all hotels, about towels I did not understand the situation, but I had my own. there is a cafe not far from the metro in the same building

The location is excellent. Near Marx Dormoy and a further walk over the bridge to Riquet metros. The area is getting gentrified slowly, it will become expensive soon'ish! Easy buses to get to Gare du Nord and Montmartre and further afield if you explore away from tourist areas. Very close to 104 arts centre. Like any big city there are those who are less fortunate than us lucky people on holiday and there are several services in the area that look after them. Like where you live. You don't need to engage with them do you. If you enjoy a peaceful, multi-cultural area then you might like it here. Plenty of young families and older kids in the park and at the library next door. Youth hostel - welcoming, friendly staff. Very clean, spacious. All ages booking in and yes, youths booking in groups too. All quiet at night, no problems. Lots of activities going on for all to join in, a bar/cafe, lovely terrace overlooking the green park and a sustainable, inclusive organisation. Toilets are not in the room - that is a bonus! Think about it. Those who don't like that, you can go to other places. Plenty of showers and toilets on the floor. Basic bed linen. Very clean. Effective, quiet air con too! Big locker for stuff - bring or buy a padlock. I have stayed in a hotel around the corner before and saw this place and planned to book here when I returned. It suited me perfectly. 2 lifts to each floor. Vending machine sells food and padlocks/plugs/chargers.

I didn't have the included breakfast as I went out locally. I have nothing that I didn't like about Yves Robert hostel. I don't like the veiled racism in some of the reviews for this place.

I liked the whole experience. From making the booking to actually going there. The rooms were clean and the lobby had good activities. The breakfast was also great it served the purpose.

There are two things that I didnt like. There was a limit to having breakfast. All the time the servers were handing out things by their own hands and asked us to take only 1 time. They also said that you can get either a pain au chocolat or croissant, not both and I love both of them. So this was not expected. Secondly there was no internet in the rooms, even though they have mentioned that there is internet at the location but only in the lobby.

It’s very nice looking, very easy to check in and out, the staff is king and the food and drinks are good quality. The rooms are clean and well arranged. For the price is a very good option.

The location, not easy to get to. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired as sadly some people are just a bit careless. The beds and pillow are very uncomfortable, but for the value they’re okay.

Nice staff willing to help. I asked to swich a bed up for a bed down due to I was going to stay 5 nights and they helped me. That's really appreciated. They have dinner until 11 pm (sandwich mosly) and a cool bar next to reception. Good breakfast for this price, fullfilling. Comfortable bed and pillow. Sinks and shower inside the shared room. They have a shared kitchen but is locked sometimes (I didn't use it, so I don't know the schedule or rules for this). Big lockers inside the room that work and feel really safety. Also they have a luggage room with big lockers just for €2, really cheap. Regardless of other reviews the neighborhood is ok (I mean It's a district far away from downtown, of course It's not a fancy area). I felt safe all my stay and I didn't have any security problem. Clean place and nice atmosphere in general.

There are no shelters or something to hang up your towel or something to put the soap, shampoo, .. It would be comfy to have it and water flows really hot somethings, there's no temperatute control

Easy to walk from Gare du Nord. Large clean family room - lots of space for luggage & 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Separate toilet & shower room. Bar area for a drink in the evening. Luggage store. Warm room (we were there in Jan) Breakfast was basic - croissant, roll and a yoghurt and couple of other bits.. But for convenience and price, it was ok. Overall thought it was a great option for a budget stay. No frills but clean, friendly, comfy & convenient location.

shower on a timed button which i don't mind but it was not possible to keep a constant temperature and the shower curtain didn't keep water away from rest of shower room!

Metro is near by, but a lot of strange people hanging around metro. Near hostel all fine, just need to cross that metro part quickly
